C Johnson She is not off pitch. get your hearing checked. if you don't like her, that's fine, but no cooking up fabrications about off pitch. she's so close to hitting each and every note perfectly it's insane. and this is live, not in a studio. some of my all time fave singers have to do about 20 to 30 takes to sound this close to pitch perfect. I recently started listening to the lovely ms. bareilles and she is a rare gem. p.s. 85% of her vocals are exactly on point within a mHz.
She’s probably the most technically talented pop singer around right now. I have perfect pitch. It literally hurts my ears when someone is off-pitch. She rarely misses notes; I can’t say that about just about anyone else around now.
she doesn't hit the *original* notes at times, no. she 'pops it up' at times if you compare it to the original. but she does it well regardless of the *changes*
