If you're looking for a way to invest in Belize real estate, my recommendation is to buy a pre-fab house. This is a great way to get started with investing in Belize real estate, and it's a reliable, low-risk investment. Plus, you can always rent out the house if you decide you don't want to move out of Belize.
Premier Homes is located in the Spanish Look out area of Belize on the Western side of the country and it is famous for its mennonite population who builds fantastic hardwood pre fabs homes. This is a great video for new real estate investors!

After numerous attempts of buying my first property back kn 2005 - 2006 I finally was able to buy in 2011, thanks to God and not giving up on my dream this was at the bottom of a great deal and am currently sitting on over $200k on equity, the point is don't give up either you're a wolf or a sheep, take advantages of these opportunities

About 20 years ago I had a job assembling pre-fab houses, and they were being shipped to Japan, disassembled . Maybe you could carry a wall panel at time on a motorbike? Somebody must have that technology in Belize...

I heard it's cheaper to have a house built from scratch then to buy one especially in places like this. Like I've seen someone in Mexico that had a house built and between the land and the house, he spent like a total of like 25k USD and if you were to buy a house like he had built on the 2 acres of land in the US you'd probably be paying upwards to 500k+ which just makes me hate it here that much more🤣
Don’t get it twisted, trust me that’s the idea I had when I started researching real estate including building from scratch and flying in many different Caribbean countries. Listen, these properties are MORE expensive than North America, if we are talking about resort islands and towns and beach or near beach properties they are more expensive than houses in US, I know, shocking. But this is the reality. Your buddy lied to you OR he didn’t build it anywhere in resort town or at the beach. If he built it somewhere on mainland just in normal town or village or whatever then yes, perhaps. But for 25k he bought the land and he built the house? That is simply a fairy tale.
Definitely will be investing in this business model and this country. Super excited! Great video and info, thank you!

Hi Will, thanks for the info on prefabs. I own 2 lots on Ambergris, so how much would the set up on the lot cost me including clearing, pylons, utility hook ups, septic, water tank etc ? Also what price range would a prefab cost 1or 2 bedroom, that would be ready to go after set up? Thanks in advance for the information.
Hey there that will depend on a few factors but most specifically where your properties are located. You will also need to determine how big of piles you want and if you're building them out of wood or concrete

Great solution for on land. Now you need only a Float’n Thang for the water. Add for safety & fun on water. It also helps individuals with disabilities enjoy floating.

How is Belize on property taxes? Also, is it one home per lot, or could you put several "tiny" homes on a lot? As far as the house goes, with it being in hurricane ally, are they insurable?

If you’d like to have a boat I recommend checking out mahogany bay village it’s a much better set up

Are the pre-fab houses financeable?
The lots are financeable but the houses are typically cash purchases. That said there are some ways to potentially finance the homes

Anyone doing shipping-container homes? They lend themselves to mid-century Modern.
There are a few around!
Can you leave your home for several weeks without fear of burglars? Is it in your opinion to dangerous to live away from Ambergris Caye, more near Spanish Lookout in the forest?
I would always recommend in areas like this having security cameras to keep an eye on things. Overall it is a more calm area of the island since there isn't a huge population

U half to be a citizen to live there and buy land or a home ..idk what the requirements is to get citizenship but is usually a long pricey task for most countries...
Belize is full foreign ownership so you absolutely don’t have to be a citizen to own. It’s a British parliamentary democracy. One of the biggest reasons why people choose to own in belize
