That was Ty Gibbs race to win. I don’t mind the cup regulars but I didn’t like that ending. Wish we could have got interviews at the end rather than Jessie Punch.
Imagine if AJ didn't drive a steam powered locomotive and actually had access to a competitive car.

Growing up with NASCAR, I rarely paid attention to the lower series. When COVID hit, I decided I'd look at them more and wow, I am not disappointed.
Then you cannot say that you have been "growing up" with NASCAR.

1:55:05 - I could be out to lunch on this, but is it me or did the #51 team pay a sort of homage to Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s first race car, K-2, a 1956 Ford Victoria?
Or maybe it's just a coincidence that the paint scheme is somewhat similar, but that shade of pink, and the yellow-orange outlines around the numbers caught my eye right away.
It is so refreshing to see Jessie Punch pick up where her dad left off. Her style is so reminiscent of Doctor Jerry Punch.

I have my own nickname for this track: "Watkins Lynn," in honor of the iconic Dr. Jerry Punch, who was the play-by-play man for ESPN from 2007-2009; whenever he pronounced the track's name, it came out sounding like "Watkins Lynn" (perfect example of this is the 2007 Cup race, infamous for that shoving match between Kevin Harvick and Juan Pablo Montoya)
Can anyone explain to me why this CUP race at Watkins Glen is not released for Brazil?

I would never watch road courses if they weren't posted here on RUclips with the ability to fast forward. I only watch them now because of how much I like stock car racing but road course are soooo boring. The cautions take forever, couple minute lap times, miles of speedy dry take a long time to clean up... image actually going to one and only seeing your favorite driver for a couole seconds then they are gone again and you have no real idea when they'll come around a corner or over a hill and you'll get to see them for a few seconds again. Please stop adding road courses. 2 was plenty, the road course weeks were like an off week from watching racing.
Also... it wouod be great if NBC would broadcast oval races like FOX does.
