Those blowers have some serious kick Maz from Garage therapy owns the same model I believe there brilliant bits of kit but your 100% right on a protected car there very quick but non protected a lot slower

Great review matey, having used a dryer for a while now, the ease and effectiveness of the drying process comes down to how well protected the vehicle is. I find using AG Polar seal makes drying a lot easier. Albeit as you mentioned it’s time intensive, but a lot safer for the car.

I am what you would call a car enthusiast. My cars is always protected, either by wax or ceramic coating. I think this would be perfect in my garage😍 Thanks again!
Thank you. The blower is very effective on a coated car without doubt. On an unprotected car not so much but great for blowing out wing mirrors and around with dogs and light clusters etc.
Very good review and agree as my car is very well protected so will be easier to dry a car in full and obviously safer, I’ll also find this method of drying more therapeutic. I’ll certainly get this machine when my current dryer packs up.
This is something I'm considering in investing in as I'm fed up of keep going around after I've dried a car wiping the drips from mirrors etc. The worst point for collection of water on my BMW 7 series is the boot. Thank you for sharing the video I look forward to seeing some more.
Cheers Simon. I have to admit I'm starting to like the blower. Although better suited for coated cars, I am using it regularly after an engine clean, blowing out grills, seals, wheels and wing mirrors. Definitely a useful accessory that you will start to enjoy over time. Looks cool as well lol.
Superb review. I've just bought one but I haven't used it yet. Car has been waxed with Bilt Hamber Double Speed wax and on its next wash I'll be testing the GT drier. I look forward to the results. Eventually I'll try Polar Seal with its hydrophobic properties to see if the drier performs more efficiently.

Great review. Answer is simple really, if you protect your car, it’s a fantastic piece of kit. If not, don’t bother and go with the traditional method of using towels. I would find it hard to believe that people buying a £150 drier to blow water off their car isn’t an enthusiast and hasn’t got their vehicle protected in some way. Nevertheless, I’ve purchased one after this video as it looks incredible on protected paintwork. Good job 👍🏼
Had my Blo Air GT for over 18 months now. It’s not used much during the summer months due to I find it dries the water rather than blow it clear. However from this time of year onwards, it’s used I would say at least 4 out of 5 washes, mainly as it keeps my hands warm.lol. Don’t forget to wear some hearing protection, you catch a panel gap or wheel nut hole just at the wrong angle and it’s deafening! Don’t think I’ve ever used the fan blade attachment I tend to just stick with the jet nozzle.

Hiya Carl. The only control this model has is blower strength. The warmth side comes on automatically irrespective of the blow strength setting. The air warms up pretty quick so you would know within seconds if the heater element is not working. Hope this helps.
Billy. Yes without a doubt these machines come into their own on coated cars. On a none coated car, they are useful for blowing out door shuts, wing mirrors and around light clusters etc. Thanks for watching.
It's a lot quicker using the dryer if the car is already protected wax sealant etc apart from the q d you used the car didn't look like it had any protection hence the water behaviour at the start good video though 👍

Love my GT.... Blows out the water from nooks and crannies and stops those streaks you get from the mirrors and out of the window trims and lights.....

@@thecarboutique2467 only use the small nozzle now... and waft it across Seams and joints... sort of blast it out... And for wheels.... dries the lug nut Wells and the tyres on a damp day ready for dressing
For a protected car - these are a winner. But definitely not for an unprotected car. But I doubt an enthusiastic/detailer that is gonna buy this has an unprotected vehicle anyway lol

Great for body(on a protected car) , wheels and trim, still need a drying towel for bits me thinks
