Dang Curtis, you speak Spanish better then most people that speak Spanish. LOL! Great video....
What are the odds. My call from late last night was this exact furnace with the same issue. I diagnosed it as a bad board and when I returned today, I found out the hard way it was actually the stupid high limit all along. Moral of the story is to check your limits! I know I will from now on!
A man's got to know his limits. Clint Eastwood
Bingo test to ground on each side of your sensors or ohm it out if you know what ohm number is good or bad
Look at the top of that outside unit. Someone has been watering plants on top of it. Very impressed to hear you are multilingual Curtis.
Your Spanish is very good. It helps being bilingual as a Tech, because you will be recommend by the Spanish speaking community in your area.
Well done Curtis, you managed to speak with the people very well, a wise move to replace this old unit, i look forward to the change over 👍 Au
Wym these people, u goofy
@@cezar09 They were Spanish people and he speaks Spanish 🤔 Au
One thing is for sure, they Called a Super Efficient HVAC Company. 👍🙏
A great hvac tech and speak Spanish to your the man thanks for the video
Excellent work!!
Thanks
My old 32 year old Carrier unit just gave up the ghost the week before the cold set in. I replaced the furnace, but I kept my old reliable Honywell thermostat. I bet that thing will outlive all the new crap they make today.
I’d like to see an architect/engineer designing these homes crawl up in these uncomfortable spaces and try to do some work or exercise! They’d change the way they design/build and “blue print” these places to make sure they’re more comfortable and easier to work!
Nice work Curtis.
I’m just surprised you able to get with supplier lol😂
I had this happen to me about 5 years ago the thermostat was fine but the blower fan would not turn off unless I turned off the breaker to it and it turned out to be a bad furnace and if I remember right it was at least over 30 years old and there were cracks in the heat exchanger.
Amazing video my friend!
Español with a Southern drawl. 👍
I had blower stuck on coue years ago and had other issues going on too. Well I called a repair guy iver and he charged $150 to press limit button hiden under burner, I pressed the visible one above it. Had him put on new round thermostat while he was here cause mine was really old.
you are the men brother muchas felicidades por los videos tan buenos
Where and how did you learn Spanish you surprise me all the time your awesome man.
I’m gunna have to check
Ran into this a few times in the trade. Caused always by a T-stat or a stuck relay (rare but happens).
indoor blower on and no other function, is most always open on high limit or a high limit is bad open circuit, sometimes the inducer may be locked on also.
I wish I could be as fluent in Spanish as you!!
Many employers pay their bilingual employees extra. Good for business.
Great video like always! Muy bien tu Español😅
check voltage at t-stat and unit
Impressive troubleshooting skills and even more impressive Spanish
Your spanish is good Curtis 👍🏻
My brother went through the same problem with their language he built a baseball park lot and out building he had to learn how to speak Spanish 😊
Excellent Spanish 👏
👍👍👍
Como esta Ested . Probably not spelled right. At least you wasn’t choking up in that attic
I'm impressed on your Spanish
Mr. Curtis you're doing a fine job with your Spanish.
Never apologize for speaking a language other than English. I am jealous of you being bilingual in Spanish and English. Knowing another language allows you to enter into another culture and experience things that you would otherwise not get to... in addition to making friends that you otherwise would not
got it
Me encanta ciando hablas español, hablas mejor que yo lol
Remember the Dice Man
The Spanish is good, just wish there were subtitles so some of us could learn some Spanish :) . Also, maybe you can tell us the wire color and where you are installing them
You won’t learn with subtitles buddy
I can fix a/c and boilers but how bout a gas pack package units
You go Curtis ha ha ok…2 languages….
I really wish that I had learned Spanish. According to my wife I can't speak English too good.
proving sensor
Quit blown bubbles what’s the fix
So much for assimilation!! Thanks Joe!!!
Joe did assimilate.
Buena idea poner el nombre de tu company en el thermostat , how much cost?
On another note, the bathroom window is spray painted black?
I think that's neat that you can speak Spanish.
Where did you get that clip you used on the door switch ? Tired of wasting tape every time
@shaunjones7253 In the video description you will find the item.
@ thank you sir 🙏🏼
the fans
Most people that run around doing heating and air have a high limit on their truck. That’s like a main part. I don’t know where you live, but that’s ridiculous.
Aint no forgiveness needed, you at least have the balls to learn a different language where others wont open their minds and learn
Yes. Like foreignors in the US not learning english
I think he speaks Mandrin also
@@williamserver4332 "foreignors"...mate you've really no room to bash others...
@@williamserver4332u goofyahh
You sound dumb what does learning a language have to do with having balls. You know they offer it in school and some schools it’s a requirement for graduation
excellent Spanish skills .... double language = dinero..😎👍
so the high limit swtich caused the blower to keep running
Yes
your videos are being preemptively shanghai'd by multiple ads, Grrrrrrrrr
Isn’t it against code to use flexable gas line going into the furnace?
Depends where you live. Different states have different codes . Eb
Even the manufacturer tells you to follow municipal guide lines
Didn't know you spoke Spanish
So stupid to put a downflow furnace in an attic. Hilarious
That’s excellent that you speak Spanish fluently! Your mother or father was of Hispanic descent?
Where are you originally from? If you don’t mind me asking. Just curious how you’re fluent in Spanish.
Curtis is a very well educated man with multiple degrees and speaks multiple languages. He has spoken of his path in previous videos. It's worth noting most schools require student to learn a second language, most opt for Spanish. No different than someone in Canada taking French or Spanish as a second language.
@@patrickinottawa27 I’m an HVAC contractor out of Southern California and took Spanish in high school, but I lost most of it over the years. Thinking about taking night classes to relearn it. Anyways, thanks for the videos Curtis. Most of my background is install, so you’ve truly helped me on the many service calls I go on nowadays.
I quit residential to go to commercial and industrial
I don’t do tight shit
I had a girlfriend like that once
You can test all the limits right at the board duh
spanish ,,english we are all human no problem
Y tus videos en español
Don't apologise for being smarter and speak two languages
So is your wife Spanish or you just know it because you’re in the area where a lot of them are
wires should pull out
do I have to deper
If you have come to America for a better life legally learn English my niece was married to a Latino man he had the same look on this subject speak English
You're the assh**e that visits France and gets mad cause no one speaks English. You🦧
Just wondering if your grandfather was learned Comanche or any other Indian language when they came to America you take time for the new camer to learn the language it's not as easy as you think
You know American doesn’t have a National language right? Very ignorant to say “learn English”
They may know enough English to get by most of the time, but prefer to speak their native language especially when describing something very important. My grandparents spoke English but when the conversation got serious or they didn’t know the English translation they’d switch to Italian.
Why don’t you learn Spanish? This is America the country of many languages, English isn’t the official language. You cuck.
and gas
