Not many non Native Americans are aware of just how popular Trent Green was on the Reservations, as he was great with both the Skins and Chiefs

Trent Green had some bad luck. I remember 1999 and thinking the Rams would be at least a 10 win team and make the playoffs. The talent was there. Trent Green was the big offseason acquisition from Washington. Brad Johnson replaced Green in Washington and won the NFC East that year, one of the rare qbs in NFL history to go to the pro bowl for 3 different teams. But Green gets hurt, Warner replaces him and the rest is history. Warner gets hurt midway through what would have been a historic offensive season that was topping even 1999, Green plays some uneven football in the last 6 games and the Rams fade, maybe it wasn’t Greens fault, maybe defenses were starting to catch up to the Rams. Then he goes to KC. 2003 was an awesome year, should have been Dick Vermeils second ring. They get a home divisional game but it’s 65 degrees and balmy, the defense was absolutely atrocious in a 38-31 loss to the Colts. Greens career is defined by what might have been and but for some bad luck he could’ve had a couple of rings and maybe had a place in the HOF. He was that good

If those Chiefs teams of the early to mid 2000’s had a defense, they would have multiple championships.

Woulda been unquestionably the greatest Offense in history had they somehow been able to draft Andre Johnson

Man, these were the Chiefs Offensive Glory days. From 2001-2005/06 our Offensive probably had the greatest Offensive Line of All-Time, Greatest Tight And of all time, one of the greatest returners of all time, and a running back with the best 3-4 year statistics of all time as well. Defense was horrible lol but our offense was something special to watch. Appreciate you Trent Green and thank you for all that you did during your tenure here in KC.... SALUTE BROTHA 🤜🏾🔥🤛🏻 #ChiefsKingdom #TheVermeilEra

@@yeetyskeet5548 exactly my point. He only has great stats because he played like 20 years aka (frank gore) plus even with him playing 20 years hates still beat him by setting the biggest tight end record with the most tds by a tight end and almost all time. Thx for proving my point on the whole 20 year thing. Look at the facts jack and go watch his high lights

@@yeetyskeet5548 obviously u don’t know much about gates. Knowing he was the same exact way plus in a 2017 game chargers vs Steelers Gonzalez was the side commentator and even said “ when it came to tight end, he is the best to ever do it. Never even asked for a penny just a chance.”
