Anxiety isn't really a villain though. Sure she pushed Riley to extreme anxiety, but it falls in line with everyone with anxiety. Without the other emotions to balance her out, it gets out of control
Thats one of the reasons I really liked Inside Out 2. They didn't paint Anxiety or any of the new emotions as villains. They just had a different path, thinking (and worried) about Riley's future.
Antagonist yes; villain, no. Not all antagonists are villainous; they're just the source of conflict for the protagonist. But they're not necessarily malicious or evil. Sometimes, like in Ecanto, they're not even aware of the conflict they're causing until it's resolved.
Yeah, it seemed unlikely a stick throw would've hurt him that much, given the nature of the movie, it seemed to "silly" to really have a serious death. Especially if his only gimmick was not knowing what fear was until some dinosaur yells at him... Plus the way he fell looked like you'd see a post credits sequel hook where he crawls from the side of the river and tries to patch up his wing swearing he'll over come his new fears, only to discover he suddenly is a total coward now that things scare him now.
Syndrome was always near death with his cape. Even when he was young and bright, a bomb was attached to his cape. He was saved by Mr.Incredible, and killed by a jet engine
Here’s how Felix the Cat’s villains could personify the Seven Deadly Sins, based on their characteristics and personalities- 1. Greed - The Professor🤑: The Professor is always plotting to steal Felix’s Magic Bag of Tricks. His relentless pursuit of affluence, domination, and control over the bag perfectly demonstrates greed. 2. Wrath - Rock Bottom😈: As the Professor’s henchman, Rock Bottom is quick-tempered and prone to violence. His aggressive nature and willingness to use force to solve problems make him a fitting embodiment of wrath. 3. Sloth - Poindexter🦥: Although Poindexter is incredibly intelligent, his impulsive nature and absent-mindedness often make him slow to act in situations. His over-reliance on thinking rather than taking action makes him a good match for sloth, as he avoids physical activity and quick decisions. 4. Envy - Master Cylinder🤬: As a robotic villain, Master Cylinder is envious of Felix’s creativity and the power of his Magic Bag. He always seeks to surpass Felix, driven by his envy of the bag’s endless possibilities. 5. Pride - Vavoom🤴: Vavoom, though always a self-fixated and harmless character, could be seen as conceited in his mastery. His successful voice is his defining characteristic, and he might take overblown pride in his destructive power, using it without considering the consequences. 6. Gluttony - Chief Mole😋: Chief Mole, the leader of the underground Mole People, is always depicted as having desirous starvation, whether for food or resources. His greedy likeness to take more than he needs, even from others, makes him a fitting embodiment of this sin. 7. Lust - Miss Pretty💋: Though not a classic villain, Miss Pretty could embody lust, particularly through her manipulative captivation and the way she seduces characters, using her charisma to obtain what she expects from Felix or others.
Evelyn: not to mention that she tried ramming an entire city with a big huge ship. imagine the cost in lives and city damage if she had succeeded? Titanic crashing into New York anyone? Ok so I exaggerated the ship size but you get my point. I don't think she is going to get out on bail anytime soon.

Most Pixar Villains got off easy and some of them met their gruesome ends, although Gabby Gabby at least had her own happy ending and found a new owner. However characters like Syndrome, Lotso, Ernesto De La Cruz, and a few other Pixar Characters got what they deserve.
IMO Syndrome should have gotten the silver medal instead of Lotso. Lotso was bad, but his fate was nothing compared to being chopped up to a bloody pulp in a jet turbine.
One becomes a glorified trophy who's gonna be collecting bugs for the rest of his life, and the other got a, definitely beyond gruesome, but all things considered, quick death. Not even close bro.
I thought the same, but in the scene immediatley after the plane explodes, so it's likely he died in the explosion instantly and thus didn't live long enough to feel the pain of being shredded alive. Plus now that I think about it... what would happen if a human were to end up lodged in a jet engine? He probably maybe only felt the blades cut his legs a few times before stopping and causing the explosion.
I cannot tell you how much I hate how villains are handled these days. Why can’t they go back to how things were before like where the villain got some kind of karma or killed or the assistant realizes they’re just being used or they have a certain standard of evil?
I agree. There's a time and place for both sympathetic villains, and villains who are evil for the evils. I can't help but think of the first Pokemon Movie Mewtwo Strikes Back! Where the scientist in the original Japanese version was doing ye olde "My daughter is dying, I want to use science to cure her", in a convoluted story that Mewtwo forgot completely and ended up with zero memory about, but in the dub, they removed that entire sub-plot to make the scientist more of a Frankenstein scientist, who just wanted to see how far he could push science. It turns Mewtwo from Pinocchio, with a far lesser impact, into a horror flick, with Mewtwo having an existential crisis. Honestly, from a writer's perspective, the story with the daughter is to explain away the scientist, and a pseudo-Astro Boy, rather than outright going for the horror villain, which has an even bigger impact on Mewtwo, as he saw nothing but the evil of humans and the human mind, which he has to confront through the movie. And it gives us a reason why Mewtwo would just kill all the scientists. Plus, Mewtwo forgot about the daughter.
@@Keiji555 Totally agree. Ramses from The Prince Egypt is also a good example. You can sort of feel sorry for him for being so pressured by his father to not be the weak link and understand his stubbornness. But at the same time he did had the opportunity to redeem himself by god causing destruction and harming his people unless he frees slaves. Which ended up killing his son, which he doesn’t take responsibility for.
@@Koopalingfan Also, on the other hand, he can't just lay down the murder of his son lying down, or else he would be deemed a weak Pharoah, and would need answers because the people also lost their children, which would require him to take decisive action, and have some form of explanation. Ramses is in a tough choice. He could have avoided the situation, but in the end, because of what happened, being Ramses' fault, cause there would be at least hundreds of thousands that lost their sons, and they would need to ask the head of the religion and government for answers. It's why at the end, Ramses is in a catch-22. Logically, he should step back. But if he does, then all of Egypt will revolt because he didn't do anything that could appease the vengeance/justice the people would want, cause at least if he failed, he did something which might keep some respect. But on the other hand, letting Moses and his people go would mean doing the right thing, but in a time where the people want someone strong that could reassure them, he would come across as weak, and it would result in far more Egyptians dying due to a civil war, and a longer time of trying to rebuild, which would mean that in that timeframe, even more would die, due to potential tyrants, simply because he would be seen as weak, and would have done nothing. I know I shouldn't apply real world political ramifications to an animated movie, but it would be the situation Ramses would be in, so it's a damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. The best thing for everyone, is what happened in the end. Moses goes with the people and gets a head start, and Ramses follows with an army to show that he did do something. Even when it is his fault.

Randall returns in the season two finale of Monsters at Work as one of the main antagonists. He was rescued by his old ROR teammate Johnny Worthington III and brought back to the monster world shortly after being banished in the human world by Mike and Sulley. Together, they stole laugh energy from Monsters, Inc. and passed it off as their own scream power for Fear Co. He even rewired the empty canisters to give false readings, so no one would notice the missing laugh energy. He also stole Mike's lucky mitt, sugar packets, and Boo's drawing and vandalized the laugh floor with paint from the hardware store owned by Tylor Tuskmon's family and planted the stuff in Tylor’s locker to frame him for the crimes. After Johnny and Randall's arrest, Randall escapes custody and remains on the run.
I dont think the mother in Turning Red is evil, she just wanted the best for her rebellious child Mang Lee, honestly Mang Lee was very disrespectful and defiant towards her, even when so far to torque infront of her mother and headbutting her mother. In away you could say Mang Lee was the villian who got her own way
I think ernesto should be moved up since the dead don’t seem to be impacted by physical damage so he’s probably still stuck under that bell, never able to reach the final death for the same reason we remember horrible people in real life.
Yeah, pretty much. I mean we all were like that as kids. But we can tell he does have issues when he messes with his sister's doll and when she screams to tell on him, he yells "She's LYING! Whatever she says is NOT TRUE!" Though I think seeing the rain and just walking up and moaning before deciding to take a nap was pretty reasonable. Yeah, he's really just a kid who grew up on monster movies and war movies likely, but I doubt he's any more messed up than anyone else. He landed a job at a young age so he seems fine!
12:45 At all If you look at it from the angle that he did not want to maintain his POWER in the company, but only the company ITSELF, then his fate as a villain becomes easier Like...Mike and Sulley ended up being able to save the company by simply rebranding it, which essentially fulfilled the villain's entire goal Isn't it?

The only way I will accept Toy Story 5's existence is if they bring it full circle and bring back Sid as the villain. Like we find out that he did a complete 180 with his personality and is, by adulthood, now making a living (or at least a side hustle) as a vintage toy restorer and reseller. And he seems to be stable and well-adjusted, having convinced himself that his traumatic experience from the first movie was just a dream... Until he finds Woody, recognizes him as the cowboy from "the dream" and has a mental breakdown that climaxes with Woody once again on the grill. Only instead of intending to light him on fire for fun, Sid now has the match held in a trembling hand and is demanding that Woody speak to him.
In Cars 2: Life imprisonment is different in the UK. Assuming the legal process is the same in the Cars universe, it's possible that Miles could roll out of jail in 25-30 years. Although since his crimes involved t*rrorism, m*rder, and attempted m*rder, he probably would never be let out of the impound lot.
Okay, but let's not pretend that Sid was completely innocent. He didn't limit himself to mangling his toys, but he also did so with his sister's. Poor girl was having a tea party with decapitated dolls. Honestly, I like to go with the fan theory that Sid became a garbage man to find discarded toys, repair them and get them to kids who need them.
Wickedbinge: Randall is ultimately transported to a trailer park and the door that brought him there is destroyed. So sufficient to say, he's not returning anytime soon! Me: Yeah.........about that!

Yeah ironically he wouldn't have been seen as a "Bad guy" either if NOT for the fact that he stole Woody despite Andy's mom making it clear he's not for sale. If anything, getting away with theft and still having his job is him getting off easy, but a fitting punishment for his greed.
6:34 the plan was randal's not waternoose's and waternoose wasn't fully on board with on it, he showed anger and remorse towards banishing sully for example
Sid was honestly the one who got off the easiest out of the "life altering fate" villains as he turned himself around because it was confirmed that he IS the garbage man from Toy Story 3
Ernesto's fate is much worse, as he may still be "alive" or remembered, but he is forever going to be hated. Having exposed himself live before the land of the dead, he would be lucky to find any sorta refuge or place that will allow him anymore. Honestly, being forgotten and disappearing would have been better, as he would vanish and not have to suffer. But now, he is trapped. People will remember him and hate him for many years to come. Nobody will want anything to do with him, he'd lose everything from his wealth, fans, mansion, offerings, everything he ever earned. He would also likely get assaulted at worse on the daily, and at best get spat at or cursed by those around, assuming he ever escapes the bell. That's it for him, his life is over.
Randall died didn't he? Beaten to death by those humans thinking he was a 'Gator with a shovel? Even if Randall survived, he's stranded in the human world. That at the very least should be in life-altering, not slap on the wrist. Also; it's worth noting that the plan in Monsters INC was Randall's, not Waternoose's. Waternoose only went with Randall out of desperation, and even expresses a couple of times he's not exactly a fan of Randall's methods. Waternoose is more the financial backer.

He has no offrenda. Before, his grave was treated as such. But afterwards, no one will visit him, offer him an offrenda, or invite him. So in the end, for a narcissist like him, he will slowly disappear, and as you mentioned, as a disgraced villain.
Iirc the pixar animator confirmed that he cannot die due to his infamy, but he is "eternally disgraced".
I think that means he never disappears but everyone wished he does and does their best to make him suffer.
@@defaulted9485 Yeah that may genuinely be a fate worse than death. literally the definition of "eternal d8mnation", to be punished for all eternity with no hope of redemption.

It was in fact confirmed by Toy Story 3’s director that the garbage man is Sid, he really has made a decent life for himself
17:31
Fun fact: Dump trucks ties stuff toys to the rig of the trucks or put them on their dashboard for identification.
the director for coco actually said that the bell that crushed ernesto in the land of the dead caused him to be eternally disgraced, meaning he's still trapped under there while he loses EVERYTHING.
Evelyn Devore sounds like “Evil Endeavor”, I like that you added in “no capes” and Arlo’s roar scaring Thunderclap. Though I feel Chick should be higher than Storm because he almost murdered the king, Storm was just a bully.
This movie is a great sequel. 💜💜💜💜
Mor’du is like the most terrifying Pixar villain
“Mor’du” makes me think of “Mordor”
The director of TGD confirmed that Thunderclap survived
Yeah, it seemed unlikely a stick throw would've hurt him that much, given the nature of the movie, it seemed to "silly" to really have a serious death. Especially if his only gimmick was not knowing what fear was until some dinosaur yells at him... Plus the way he fell looked like you'd see a post credits sequel hook where he crawls from the side of the river and tries to patch up his wing swearing he'll over come his new fears, only to discover he suddenly is a total coward now that things scare him now.

7:02 what’s worse is the new “monsters inc” show Retcon Randels defeat by Johnny pulling up and saving him
Here’s how Felix the Cat’s villains could personify the Seven Deadly Sins, based on their characteristics and personalities-
1. Greed - The Professor🤑:
The Professor is always plotting to steal Felix’s Magic Bag of Tricks. His relentless pursuit of affluence, domination, and control over the bag perfectly demonstrates greed.
2. Wrath - Rock Bottom😈:
As the Professor’s henchman, Rock Bottom is quick-tempered and prone to violence. His aggressive nature and willingness to use force to solve problems make him a fitting embodiment of wrath.
3. Sloth - Poindexter🦥:
Although Poindexter is incredibly intelligent, his impulsive nature and absent-mindedness often make him slow to act in situations. His over-reliance on thinking rather than taking action makes him a good match for sloth, as he avoids physical activity and quick decisions.
4. Envy - Master Cylinder🤬:
As a robotic villain, Master Cylinder is envious of Felix’s creativity and the power of his Magic Bag. He always seeks to surpass Felix, driven by his envy of the bag’s endless possibilities.
5. Pride - Vavoom🤴:
Vavoom, though always a self-fixated and harmless character, could be seen as conceited in his mastery. His successful voice is his defining characteristic, and he might take overblown pride in his destructive power, using it without considering the consequences.
6. Gluttony - Chief Mole😋:
Chief Mole, the leader of the underground Mole People, is always depicted as having desirous starvation, whether for food or resources. His greedy likeness to take more than he needs, even from others, makes him a fitting embodiment of this sin.
7. Lust - Miss Pretty💋:
Though not a classic villain, Miss Pretty could embody lust, particularly through her manipulative captivation and the way she seduces characters, using her charisma to obtain what she expects from Felix or others.

I think the birds that ate Hopper are quite pretty. Sure they ate Hopper but that’s nature for you folks. Bird is the Word!
The Pixar logo’s I getting squashed constantly by the lamp should earn it the silver medal of gruesome in the Pixar deaths gruesome to most gruesome.
THEY CAN'T KEEP DOING IT TO HIM 😰
IMO Syndrome should have gotten the silver medal instead of Lotso.
8:22 "... like the animal mascot of his store is, Al is absolutely COOKED!!!"

"I do feel a little bad for him, can you blame him? This guy's dreams are buck-buck-buck broken"

I cannot tell you how much I hate how villains are handled these days. Why can’t they go back to how things were before like where the villain got some kind of karma or killed or the assistant realizes they’re just being used or they have a certain standard of evil?
Yeah. I really miss when Disney killed off villains.
@@Keiji555 Totally agree.

Joy recognizes this and takes up the role of being the voice of reason at the end of the movie, since Anxiety is able to plan ahead for things to come, something short sighted joy isn't the best at.
To be fair, Anxiety thought what she was doing was good. And when she found out she was hurting Riley, she was horrified. And I love how Joy encourages her to worry about the things she can control so she won’t take things too far.

Hehe well we do interpret his crime from a human perspective, but the monsters have clearly different rules. Remember most of the monsters were dealthly afraid of Boo, so they clearly don't have the same view of a young human child like we do. After all only Sully and Mike really thought what he was doing was "cruel and unusual" and even then, Mike didn't care for Boo until Sully really convinced him.

Randall in KH3 mentions to Sora and co. that he "Was almost turned into a wallet." So he almost died by banishment.
The only reason Chick Hicks was willing to cheat was because he kept getting second place over and over and over again. He was happy to get second, but annoyed that King kept pulling ahead of him in every single race. He just wanted ONE win, dangit!
Now that doesn't excuse the cheating of course, but it DOES make the frustration and the following excitement from his win perfectly understandable. X3

Disney channel villains weak to powerful
Randall came back due to KHIII but got his reptilian butt handed to him by Sora, kupo. (Not sure if truly canon.)

In Cars 2:
Life imprisonment is different in the UK. Assuming the legal process is the same in the Cars universe, it's possible that Miles could roll out of jail in 25-30 years. Although since his crimes involved t*rrorism, m*rder, and attempted m*rder, he probably would never be let out of the impound lot.
Hm, fair points and opinions, i wonder what we could get next?

Okay, but let's not pretend that Sid was completely innocent. He didn't limit himself to mangling his toys, but he also did so with his sister's. Poor girl was having a tea party with decapitated dolls.

Zurg is actually alive as revealed after the credits
Rank the morality of Murder Drones characters. This time, put Tessa in the good tier since the one in the suit was the Absolute Solver in disguise and was wearing her skin and clothing
16:38 The creators of the film did state that he did not go through the final death from the second crush. But it is likely that no one will get him out from under that bell.
