I am loving the new dynamic of your videos with Andrea and the Q&A in addition to your great knowledge/impressions which I have always appreciated . Please continue the great work!
Such a fun video, Andrea looked like she was having so much fun. You guys are great together and the night segment is so good. Andrea looking beautiful as always. 😍
seriously LOVED seeing andrea get dirty that was so much fun...this channel seriously has done a complete 180 with Andrea...I used to only watch a few of the reviews I was interested in, I pretty much watch EVERYTHING with Andrea now...
Your neat new touches, and interplay between you two, have improved your channel considerably. Kudos on that! And as most YT car reviewers have found, the "buddy review" format is a winner (Dog D not withstanding). Thanks for bringing a "drea spark" to this genre.
Having owned three Jeep in the past (Briarwood, YJ Islander and an older YJ Sahara), I’m pleased to see that these Wranglers are finally becoming a better and more refined vehicle on the Pavement. Thanks for the video.
I drive a Volkswagen diesel and I love it!! Diesels are an experience! They drive so differently then gas and in my opinion they are typically not a fuel saving option but a option for those looking for a different driving dynamic. I love diesels and with large tires “a Jeep thing” these are a match made in heaven 🥰
Awesome video as usual A & Z! It's good to see how far jeep wrangler has come. This has a nice clean interior than the 2017 that I've driven quite a bit. I also agree with A about the back seat Thanks for featuring my question first!
Great review! You should have a lot more subscribers! I live in Minnesota and currently own a 2018 Toyota 4Runner Limited. The new Wranglers do look pretty cool and are tempting. I always worry about the wind noise even with the hard top. I"m not OCD but I always seem to notice wind noise on vehicles. My vehicle is paid off so I should stop watching videos!!!
Another great review! With the recent addition of the 6.2L V8 and a gas/electric hybrid in the Wrangler, all FCA needs to do is add the 5.7L V8 for those who don't want the minivan engine (3.6L) and can't afford the crazy expensive 6.2L V8. The diesel upgrade cost is crazy, especially with diesel fuel costing 20-30% more per gallon than gasoline.
That has got to be the biggest grin I have ever had watching a car review, seeing Andrea off-road! No holding back! Awesome first time! Next... taking the performance vehicles on track! I also like how she says 'my Cayenne', and Zack says 'our Cayenne'. Lol
I have a 2015 Wrangler. Been very happy with it, no complaints at 60,000 miles. I cut maintenance intervals in half though. However, the level of disappointment I have with the direction FCA is going regarding the Jeep brand can’t be understated. Turbo 4 cylinder - No one’s buying them, shocker! Fiat diesel with longevity issues and an astronomical price - No one’s buying them, another shocker!! FCA knee jerk - Put a 392ci V8 in the engine bay. Lol, maybe the 3rd time’s a charm. We’ll see.
The power improvements in recent years work to keep the Wrangler relevant. With regards to the the overall size, Wrangler desperately needs to be stretched and widened and as many fans of this vehicle are diehards keep and turbo charge the 3.5.
Wranglers have really grown on me. However, after being in a relatively serious car accident I always watch the crash tests of a vehicle before buying one. Wrangles are scary.
Loved watching Andrea off road and how happy she way, like a kid in a candy shop lol. Do more off road videos with Andrea! Maybe like a teaching beginners off road skills seekers with her??
Great video. But for the price it should have a hidden antenna and a hydraulic arm in the engine bay. Back to the antenna, it's very hard to properly clean the snow with the damn antenna there.
I currently own a 2014 grand cherokee with the ecodiesel. Its a great engine but the cost of maintenance will turn you off. Oil change is $150 just for the oil and filter alone. If you add labor, it can be $300.
The 3500lbs towing has to due with the rear suspension setup. With the Gladiator with the same engine/trans and pulls 7650. It's all about the rear suspension, waiting for the aftermarket guys to develop something that can swapped in to improve that the wrangle number. it would be great to at least get to 5000lbs (to be able to pull a nice size camper).
@@Motormouth... I can't argue that! I pull a 2500lbs Scout trailer with my 2020 JLU with the 2.0L. You can tell it's there, but pulls great. I wanted the Diesel, but just could not justify the cost with so little performance improvement. I had 2007 Grand Cherokee Diesel with the Merc 3.0l. I loved that Jeep.
A lot more than just torque matters for towing capacity. The vehicles weight, wheelbase, brakes and suspension also come into play. You might be able to pull more weight with more torque but can you safely control and stop that extra weight?
I think where the diesl comes in is when people put 35 37 tires on and where the 3.6 starts falling off the diesel barely notices the tires and other weight winches etc ...without haveing to regear.....there is LONG TERM value to it if your building it...if not your probably right the 2.0 or 3.6 is fine
does anyone know that the europian version wranglers have a 4d-auto and 4h-part time modes. (u.s. version dont) and does canadian version of jeep wrangler rubicon have a 4d-auto and 4h-part time modes as well???
You don't buy the diesel Jeep to save gas. You buy it for that feeling of invincibility off road! Also, the extended off road range/time that the diesel affords you. Nothing better!
It’s also important to note that it’s the only 4 door vehicle on the market that does not offer side curtain airbags for the rear occupants; where your kids sit. So I would never buy one as a family vehicle, that begs the question, why buy the 4 door?
I have a question about the backseat legroom....I'm not sure how tall Zack is, but his Knees were almost up against the back of the front seat. Four 6 foot plus guys would seem cramped in there, unless of course there's a stretched version of this one. Awesome value retention but at over $70K, hard pass!
Wrangler is a compact SUV. Can't expect too much room in the back. Also FCA will deal on these. You can get $10k off fairly easily so MSRP doesn't mean much.
Motormouths, at 11:45 the prices suggest the diesel variant costs $2000 more, but at 10:08 you say the diesel engine costs $7400 more. Can you explain?
@@gs98999 I looked at Jeep Canada's website. The package with diesel engine is indeed about $7000 more than the most expensive package with a gas engine. That is crazy.
They forgot about all the 3.0 ecodiesel loosing the main bearing at very low mileage. I just lost mine at 118000 miles and i was able to get double the miles than other people. Just have 9000 ready for your new engine.
Yes, especially the one we had, but you can get a less expensive one. Amazing how many trims Jeep has. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

What? over $70 grand for a Jeep? It's not worth the money for such an old vehicle and it's platform. For that price, i know i can get myself one heck of a nice full size truck. You have to be a Jeep fanatic to buy this and be able to justify the purchase price. so it's a no-go for me!
@@gs98999 It sure is! That is what I like about the Wrangler, there are so many different models and trim levels available. You don't have to spend $70,000.
Hey guys. Sorry but for that price I am sure there is a real good alternative on German premium SUV's. When you look at the cheap plastic material inside the Jeep, you may consider that its price is outrageous.
It follows the German price model when it comes to options. Just roof and engine in the one they tested is $11,400. If you select options carefully they are priced on par with 4runners for example.
Echo-Diesel.... Anyways... it's waaaaay too overpriced. FCA is now selling Jeep Wranglers in the Luxury SUV class in Canada.
