The people who threaten harm to Alex's attorney's are no better than Alex himself. I don't understand how they think they are any different. I really don't.
Agree!
Completely agree and charges should be brought upon those making threats. I bet they would want legal representation for those charges. Mr. Harpootlian had someone wish cancer upon him, that's completely insane to do because that is his job, to represent people regardless how the 'world' feels towards his client.

Even Randy knows he’s not telling them what happened.
Randy said Alex didn't tell the truth. John Marvin finally said it on the stand. Randy made sure to tell the media that he still works for PMPED because he doesn't lie or steal. Please. This family has been corrupt for generations and Attorney General Alan Wilson will probably be exposing more family crime.
Jim Griffin and "Poot" are going to be very busy.
Don’t forget Randy was in the office with the other law partners when they confronted Alex with the fact that they knew about his theft of $millions from the firm and clients. Smoking gun was Paul’s Snapchat! Alec did not know that Paul took that Alex voice was in the background. This is what got him convicted! It’s bad enough that he lied, and stole from his law, firm and clients, but to lie to the police and where he was at when his son and wife are brutally, murdered he was right there! You better hope the defense wasn’t horrible, because if it is determined that Alex Murdaugh had an inadequate defense, he’ll get a new trial.
I think those defense attorneys did the best they could defending a murderer. They’re job is to make the State prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and they did that. It’s not their fault their client was guilty and had so little to base a defense on. What these defense attorneys did was absolutely necessary.
@Stacy Martinez he was adequately represented..but they were horrible
Tbh they didn't have alot to work with. They had a client who wanted to get on the stand to tell everyone how much he lies and there was indeed hard core proof he did lie and was there at the time of the murders. You can only do so much with that

It's getting to the point that starting with 1000 jurors, you can't find 12 that can reason for themselves, and can only parrot what the state tells them. The jury system is useless without the jury's ability to think independently. I have mixed feelings about Randy's interview with the NY Times. I think it was partly personal feelings and partly P.R. He still has to work at that law firm. I know Alex owes him thousands but if you re-read that article or read it, he kind of contradicts himself. On one hand he states he has known him all of these years and then on the other hand he says he isn't close to him. PR to kind of distance himself, imo. I think Jim is too close to Alex and it affected his closing. Defense did come out swinging with their statement and no matter who Harpootlian thinks he is, he is a rude man. We have a jury of 12 who decided Alex is guilty. It is how things work in our country.
I agree 100 percent.
Yea I don’t see anyone using Randy as their attorney just because that’s AM brother and all the stories that surround him and John Marvin as well…. They should all be fine though I’m sure AM told them where he hid all the money incase he ever got caught
You can know a person for years and not be close
Alex - being a control freak and wanting to dictate to everyone what they should be doing for him had SEVERAL jail house calls with his son and other brother - none with Randy. Maybe Randy felt it would be unwise as the calls are recorded and are public information. On the other hand we didn't hear much about Randy being close to Alex.
but alex said all his family were close, going to relatives houses every weekends. buster and paul were so close as well that buster didn't even know paul was being sued. Buster thought it was him, his mom an dad being sued he found that paul was being sued from defense when buster testified.. They were so close that maggie lived in beach house and paul didn't live with alex either. Paul was rarely home because he was a rogan's house and other friends house. Seems pretty close family that phone calls only last 1 min or are ignored.

If this attorney couldn’t even make a distinct difference between the financial crimes and the murders, how do u expect a jury to do it?
First Harpo says he’ll keep separate his rolls as attorney & state senator, then he jumps at the first opportunity to be a victim on the senate floor, blaming 2nd Amendment supporters for mean emails.
Sled has no integrity, there is a case right now where they concocted a false story to destroy a farmers hemp field and the farmer was falsely arrested.
I was in undergrad school with Jim Griffin at Wake Forest. Had a few classes with him. Small, small world!
Sure thing pal 😂
@@electricaf365 Do you work at being an idiot part-time or full-time?
And...?
what music did he listen to?
Give him a call, and remind him about how it was his fault that all the fraud and theft evidence came in.
So maybe if they didn't say.
It's an honor to represent Alex Murdoch. He wouldn't get those nasty comments
I was appalled that Dick Harpootlian pointed a gun at the Prosecutor’s and giggled and said’ Temping’. As a gun owner everyone, you never point a gun gun gun at a human being!
Jim Griffon must be 1 small step above Alex Murdaugh. A real slime ball.
We need more hosts taking time outs to educate the viewers and remind them of the reality! thank goodness someone said it
If they never learned this in school, and you need people on TV to educate them, we are already in deep trouble.
Well said. Well explained. Thank you!
This defendant had the fairest of trials -
And it's insulting to the court to suggest otherwise!
Harpootlian saying he was honored to defend Alex. That's disgusting! Harpootlian has also earned himself the critical comments from women! He is a card carrying Good Ole Boys Club member and is a tired old attorney. SC girl here
Humm . . . I thought the defense was to protect the rights of the accused, not get them off when the evidence against them is clear. What do I need to understand?
get over it your client brutally killed his son and his wife... regardless of how you try to spin it.
Oh please!!! Alex was writing his appeal during trial!!
Jim.made it personal when he questioned the integrity of the jury. Of course their job is to defend. We know that. It works so why are the defense team trying to cast doubt on the system
Because they lost a major case.
Sour grapes and deflection. They can’t admit that a juror of AMs peers found enough evidence to convict on all counts so they have to find someone else to blame. So let’s attack SLED and the jury.
Jim represented Alec believing he was innocent but he didn't know about the video of the kennel then. But what shocks me is that he says Alec did not get a fair trial. OMG!
I think he's a sore loser like many others that have come before.
What was the time of death? Tell me how you know?
5:40 - WHY is this super rich defense atty. WHINING AND CRYING to his political scum buddies about folks calling him names? Is he a six yr old GIRL on the playground or a grown ass OLD MAN? Actully he's a SNOWFLAKE......
If you don't have any other defense, attack the investigation. Exactly how it played out.
