This proves my suspicion that Mahindra was never serious about EVs. They bought out Reva just to slow it down, and they were forced to come out with this because of the huge success Tata EVs are garnering. It's a shame, Mahindra has electric experience from Formula-e and their association with Pininfarina, and not to mention their decade old lead they used to have with e2o. The only success they managed to achieve in EVs is in the 3w sector. Mahindra and Maruti are just lucky that India has animosity with China, for which Chinese EVs are not taking over and there hasn't been an electric car startup in India yet. So, all eyes are on Tata and thankfully they are really serious about EVs.

Ever wondered why Gagan has sarcastic comments in each of his reviews, as if his motive is to demonise TATA. His unnecessary comments like Tata picked up Chinese batteries whereas Mahindra tried to avoid Chinese suppliers. Now the motor in XUV400 is supplied by Valeo and same as in Nexon. And yes Valeo makes motors in China. It maybe surprising but even the panaromic sunroof used by both Mahindra and Tata come from China! Make in India is when even though components are sourced but at least the design and development and manufacturing is being done in India. Its better than importing a whole vehicle in SKD/CKD like Hyundai ionic and Kia ev6 or BYD

Car moving backwards in L mode if there is slope just means it doesn't have autohold function. What's the big deal about it? Most of the cars sold in India don't have autohold function. And regarding air temperature from ac vents , in all manual climate control vehicles air temperature changes with the control because they also turn on the heater along with the compressor to manage temperature which might feel good to you but is a poor implementation because it actually wastes lot of electricity as compressor(along with heater) runs continuously.
