- Today Kelsey Impicciche begins a new RAGS TO RICHES challenge. It's a challenge in the Sims 4 where you play as 1 sim with $0 and an empty lot and try to make as much money as possible without a career.

Name the chicken Bernadette. No particular reason. Just seems like a decent chicken name.
You can search under off the grid category, I think there's a stove and fridge (you add ice) that's off the grid. I remember living off fried fish in a R2R. This is a very fun new series.
The Yum Cooker I think is off the grid? She just didn’t have enough fish.
If you want to give fish another chance, you can grill it on the smaller campfire. But you need to be able to sit down
You can also grill it on the grill…and possibly on the stove. But it takes 2 fish and she only had 1.

Lavender was such a great LP that you did, and Bryer is doing much better starting off then her mom did. Can't wait to see where you take the story, and hopefully her parents and siblings will pop in for a visit at some point
You should grab the 'ye Olde cookbook' mod. It has a hunting and foraging feature, specialized kitchen appliances, and recipes that feel very old- timey and period appropriate. :-) One of my fave mods, hands down! Fun LP!

Actually there’s a bug right now you could take advantage of (it’s not cheating if it’s in the game!) - if you put ice in the fridge then travel/reload the lot it seems to stop the ice from ever melting!
Putting ice in your drink can make it nice and refreshing 😌 🧊🥤😊
Pro tip: Get your legacy sim into nectar making! I'm only one month (irl) and three months (in game, it's fall), in my rags to ranches challenge, and we have like 40,000+ simoleons from foraging, fishing, and nectar. It's busted.
Yes! I'm so excited to see how this plays out! For a chicken name all I can think of I'd Loretta cause I feel like that was the chickens name in Looney Tunes. Love the start though, love the outfit so cute and a wine maker sounds like such a fun idea
Yay!!!! Lavender’s line continues! This was a great start for rags to riches! And yeah the campfire from outdoor retreat and maybe 1 other cooks fish 😊 I was waiting for you to realize you could talk to the chicken 😅 and the wine/nectar makes sense and eventually a stable with a horse! Castles had horses and carriages (something I have always wanted in sims) 😊

Omg Briar! Just like Ever After High!! If you’re curious at all, Briar Beauty is the daughter of sleeping beauty and she’s a rambunctious party girl who loves bungie jumping because she will have to fall asleep for 1000 years just like her mother so she wants to live it up before that happens!
I saw people already suggested the off the grid fridge with ice.
I was also thinking you could just extend the roof to make the greenhouse bigger even without the walls.
And maybe add a pond to gether water from that can later be a mote maybe?
Also love the wine idea! Super cute so far, excited for what you have coming up.

You can roast fish on the campfire which you can buy in outdoor activities! Make sure you’re adding ice(water) to your fridge so your items don’t spoil, also once you have a stove I’d suggest canning because you can make more ingredients for dishes like mushrooms into meat substitute etc.

This is not about the video BUT I think you should totally do the Zodiac Legacy Challenge! I would definitely watch it! I think once you are done with the not so berry it will be kind of sad (I certainly will be)! It could be a nice legacy challenge to start after it is done, you know to keep the legacy idea going!

I always wanted an exact full single gameplay that will start from Sims 1 and to Sims 4. It will be edited in a single video to watch here. The gameplay will have all same characters, same setups and same choices. The comparisons and intrigued have me wanting to see this type of videos.❤ I know I am not the only one wanting to see. You can keep the frogs, and breed them, and sell those, so you'll have a small amount of money coming in regularly, so you can eat. And pee without having to go to the bush.

I’ve seen off grid let’s plays where people have used a campire to cook fish.
You should definitely put the tiny home lot type on!! Plants will grow quicker and you gain skills much faster 😉

you should add your castle from twitch to the lot you keep passing by, it would make the world feel more 'medieval'. Love th enew series!!

So it's easier to collect water and fish you could build a very shallow pond on the lot and you can collect water from it and once u can get the fishing sign you can do that on lot as well. I'm not too sure on this but maybe also look for frogs but as I said I'm not sure. You could add ice to fridge to keep stuff cold without using utilities. Hope these tips are helpful. Love your videos they are so entertaining and funny. (lol just realized I'm using someone else's profile. Eh it's ok I know them)
