Andrea been watching your videos for quite a while now. I am a retired man my wife is still working so I try to do a lot of the cleaning and your videos has help just wanted to say thanks
We have microfiber couches. We've had them for 12 years and I just spot clean it and they still look brand new there are a little bit of wear on them but 12 years 3 kid. This way makes it very easy to upkeep your couches.
need to use Dawn ,its good for many things. we have tan material kitchen chairs &2of them have stubborn stains that wont budge .look like coming out then dry with stain still there.
Tried this technique for my couch. It did work for the cushions that I could remove and clean in my washer dryer. But it did not work for the cushions on the back part of the couch that support your back. This is due to the cushions not being able to come off the couch, they were stitched into the couch. So all I would say, is if you’re trying to do this method, make sure that the cushions that have the stains on them can come off the couch and you can take the covers off. Because of the back part of the couch being stitched into itself I have a huge stain that I now have to call a cleaning service to clean for me.
Yep I did this just like you said and I got water stains. And no I didn’t use too much water. You do get rings so please don’t say you won’t because now my couch looks terrible
I think you have to wet and scrub the entire area like the entire cushion evenly in order to avoid getting water stains. You can't just do one spot in 1 little area of the cushion you have to do the whole thing. And you can't let one area dry before you've finish the whole thing. Do the entire thing quickly so that not 1 area will dry before another area.
Thank you , just purchased a chair from a consignment store, and want to surface clean it. What if you don't have Dawn? Can I use any other soap cleaner?
Does this also help with odor? My puppy had an accident on my sofa and although we were able to get the mess up with no stain, the order is still mildly there.
On another note, that's why my family decided to get leather sofas instead. It's far easier to maintain, easier to clean up spills and it doesn't smell, especially since we make exotic food. A fabric sofa might even smell of east indian food, after a while. We don't have worry about steam cleaning or getting it professionally cleaned every year. We've had the same sofas for 8 years and they're still in great condition. Every now and then, we'll use leather wipes, to keep it in top condition. All our other sitting furniture , including the dining chairs, other chairs, ottomans, entry bench and even all bed frames are made of dark leather, along with our car seats, for the same reason. Leather may cost more than fabric, but maintaing it costs far less in the long run and it can last much longer and it goes well with wooden floors.

Hi! Thanks for the video. I noticed someone asked about how to remove poop stains (from a toddler) from a sofa. Did you ever make that video?

Thank you so much you just saved me $125 from a professional cleaning service.
Ty
We don’t have Dawn in Australia. Will other dishwashing detergents do?
I have the same problems but our sectional is suede, any ideas?? 😢
The Bissell little green machine 👍
Will any dishwashing liquid work ?
Or only dawn ?
I had the water spots on my microfibre couch. What i did to get rid of it is to use rubbing alcohol on the edges to even it out.
Will this work for mud on it? I have a white microfiber sofa and mud got on it when transporting it 🙄
Amazing
Awesome
omg!!! thank you !!!
You're welcome!!

Baking soda will take the smell out
Vinegar for the final touch.
What ratio of Dawn to water???
Just eye ball it lol.... maybe 1 tsp for 1/2 c water
Do you know how to clean beige leather seats I. My car?
I do!! I have a whole video on it 👍
I feel like when you use dawn on any material it stinks when it dries. Has a funny smell
Does it really have to be dawn soap?
No I used the soap I had at home and it worked
Awesome! What works when a toddler peez (🤣 goes number one) on a couch?
Ha ha I have a video coming on that ...
If the dawn doesn't work on a linen sofa what about shaving cream? It worked on my rugs.
