I love the fact that someone did finally a hair tutorial with naturally thin hair because the fact that I have hair that is so thin I do not get sew in 🎉 Thank you for this tea
I have never considered even buying a U part wig because of being able to see the tracks but, you were on point with showing how to crochet the hair so that it hides the tracks. Thank you so much! Now I am definitely going to try one, I love it! 😁
Menopause has given me a thinning spot exactly where yours is located. I've seen this method on curly hair but never kinky straight. Thank you for this video and for giving me a new project for the weekend!! Great job...bless you!!
You are so welcome!!!! I am going to try again with a black wig cap and possible crocheting the hair into the cap where it is thin instad of moving the cap back...I will def film when I try it.
Can I tell you, the Bible is sooo true.. He says we have not because we ask not.. I asked.. I found this.. Thank you ladybug. I looove this.. It's on.. I have thin hair on top and edges..Gonna try this method. I thank God for you.. I love your spirit.. Well done :)
Kie, I must tell you that I went out and bought this exact wig and have tried this method twice now. I'm still getting the hang of it too, but I think it's a method worth mastering. My hair is very short & thin in the front, and I'm afraid that flat ironing my hair to blend with a u part is going to make it worse. This is such a cool alternative that I hope I can make work for me. Thanks for the tip!
I like what you did. I always use mascara. I tried the black edge gel and hunni I looked like Jermaine Jackson! Now I color my skin with the grey and it works but only lasts a week because I love oiling my scalp. I want to get this but no middle part for me. Must try that side part you were trying to do LOL
Lmaoooo that gelnis only for those who have a lot of hair to cover. My edges are thin so after a while it didnt work as well. I was jermaine though 🤣🤣 thanks so much sis!! You can also purchase in a side part
This is a MAJOR SLAY!! ESP if you just want a break from lace fronts, or like me, Who has short hair and like upart natural looks but can’t do a leave out, she just changed the game with this, I don’t care who sees my nots, maim or sir, you are way too close , 6ft apart please.
I loved watching your video! You don't take yourself too seriously, and I love that you experimented on camera for the first time. I have a couple of suggestions: 1.) either dye or take a black sharpie and color the edges of the U-part black so that the edges will be better hidden under your own hair. Also, maybe the next time, you could tie in smaller sections to make the blend line more seamless. One last thing I wanted to say is, everyone refers to that hook as a "crochet hook" but it's not a crochet hook. It's a latch hook. We use this kind of hook to make rugs, and smaller versions of that hook to make rugs. Crochet hooks are actual hooks that a re open on the end. There's no latch to close it. Nevertheless, your experiment looks great for a first time try! Great job!! 😊
I had an idea a couple years ago about lace being around the upart to make the area flat and more blendable for people like me with fine hair or for no leave-out and I think a company has done it. Clearly I should have created something lol. But I love how you made this work
@@PrincessRell09 Sis I’m already all over it. I got a closure wig from Klahyi hair (spelling) And I am going to split that bad boy right down the middle and use that because the wig is trash anyway I’m going to add some clips and boom I’ll have me a lace u part.

Thanks so much hunnie! I am happy I tried it for myself and shared it with you all. It def was a little learning curve but quick to process and adjust as needed
You got it together sis! I've been wanting to try this method for a while but not with the u parts that I have (straight and body wave). This kinky texture was perfect for it. When I don't want to have leave out with my u-parts, I usually just throw on a hat or beanie with it and keep it moving. Great concept!
I like the end result. I have always wanted to try a u-part but have a similar challenge of thinning in the crown area. You made it work and it looks GOOD! ❤️
