You just listened to the greatest band ever.....the GOATS....THE LEGENDS...THE TITANS of thrash metal 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘......they have existed since '81 and last year they were officially the greatest live band in the world.....imagine that....in their late fifties they sell out every arena in the world....I mean EVERY.....nobody touches these guys....they are unmatched....may I propose Fade To Black....you will adore it and shows you their great and unmatched versatility
@Angelous Bacon Yeah, the overrated shit band that inspired all of metal after them. You can at least shut your mouth so we don't see the shit coming out.
OMG Ayan, thanks for the reaction vid... This is such an awesome song of Metallica and it seems no one gives it attention. But I do recommend, either go for a lyrics video or have them ready next to you. Reading while listening to it will help you a great deal to understand why we all are crazy about them boys. The arrangements, the message, the force beneath, ... 🙈😅 Keep it up!
I have followed Metallica since the mid 80's. They are an amazing band. It is very difficult to pick up the lyrics in a live performance. But the sound of this concert was very good. There is no single example of Rock. There are literally dozens of variations. I will selfishly suggest the band Living Colour, because the guitar player is my RUclips avatar. "Love Rears It's Ugly Head" and "Cult of Personality" are two great Living Colour songs.
@Darkashtar Bad Brains are amazing and they influenced Living Colour and many other hardcore/punk bands and rock/reggae bands. They are one of a kind for sure
Old Metallica reactions are good for subscribers I'm sure; we've a hobby. But, I don't think the faster songs live are going to completely understood. I must thus recommend 'Fade to Black' live in Moscow 1991. edit* to be completely understood. -- at least not at the first.
Metallica , one of what is called the big 4 of metal ( Metallica. Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax) . They started what would be be called thrash metal. Great to see you doing a reaction. May help getting videos with lyrics.
This was the song that first got me into Metallica after watching a TV doc. For someone new to metal though, as others have said, probably not the best first Metallica song. In my case I was already longtime into earlier metal.
Metallica is the greatest to ever do it. You too will soon realize that. I suggest you start out with songs like Nothing else matters, Fade to black, One then work your way up from there.
I remember this was the most Hollywood thing I saw back in the day and I was just mesmerized. I think seeing people not getting that affected by that statue being torn apart is just normal nowadays. Hell, it's even espected.
A lot of work goes into their lyrics, often critical of the events and the time they/we live(d) in. This particular song(and video) is very raw, and hard to begin with. Having lyrics ready would've helped a lot tho'. They are well known for their long intro's and having their composition support the lyrics, which makes their songs longer than most, so that is to be expected. Easier songs to start off with would be: Nothing Else Matters The Unforgiven (I,II,III) Fade to black Sad but True One Enter Sandman Bleeding Me Wherever I may roam etc. From thereon You could move into some of the more raw stuff if You wish: Master of puppets Sanitarium For whom the bell tolls Blackened etc.
This isn't rock this is metal.... metal is like more agressive, faster, more complex, more pissed off version of rock, to be more specific this is Thrash metal.
It's much easier to understand, given they haven't been playing 2 hours of music at this pace and don't have a crowd threatening to drown them out. Absolute beasts, nobody needed extra cardio work between gigs...
This song could be considered somewhat of a deep cut, there are probably better songs to start with. I'd suggest Master of Puppets, and if your going with live versions, here's a great one from Manchester last year ruclips.net/video/G9kz-tag04U/видео.html
I suggest doing the lyrical versions of their videos first before going straight into the live performances. You'll gain insight into the depth of their music & have a much better appreciation for the concert videos.
they literally destroyed the whole stage with their incomparable rawness and power, back in 19fucking89 and u acted like this shit happens at every concert u see lol
This one is worth looking up the lyrics. Seriously.
The entire song is a diatribe against a corrupt justice system...
Love this song so much
true
Yea I don’t get why reactors can’t take 2 seconds to pull up the lyrics on their phone when they don’t understand
So true brother!
Them devils(power wolves) hate all of us! 🗽⚖️
✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿🇺🇲
This ain't rock this is metal, metal is like... louder rock
Rock but if rock was aggressive and pissed off.
And more agressive and faster

@Angelous Bacon nice comeback

Reactors need to listen to the studio versions before they ever dive into the live videos!
Metallica “no leaf clover”. Amazing song
“Nothing else matters” is a much softer very popular ballad by Metallica you would probably appreciate more.
Agree. She went right into Metallica. Prob would be better to do nothing else matters, and unforgiven... Then more metal...
I'm german and I understand the lyrics. Can't believe you don't as a native English Speaker.

Diving in the deep end of Metallica 🤘
Love your reaction Ayan

If you don't understand The lyrics why are you talking about it?
Awesome reaction! More please 🙏
Metallica - Sad but true
This is Thrash metal and metallica are one of the 4 bands that basically invented the genre
The hammer of Justice crushes you overpower!! ✊ 😝
Hope you find more METALLICA videos. You can find them with lyrics on the screen.
'One" isa great one you would probably dig more. Watch the video version forsure it's a masterpiece.
This is not Rock, This Is METAL, just saying :p
In thought Metal was a sub genre of Rock?
Great album
Might've been better to do the album track first.
It's much easier to understand, given they haven't been playing 2 hours of music at this pace and don't have a crowd threatening to drown them out. Absolute beasts, nobody needed extra cardio work between gigs...
You need some Jinjer in your life. Try Tatiana’s one take vocal for the song judgement and punishment by the band Jinjer
This is more Metal.
Thrash metal

Kirk Hammett is a God.
Rage against the machine is basically new metal, AC/DC is more rock, Metallica is thrash metal though
Hello from Spain
You dance to rock, and mosh to metal. That should help. ;)
Cant understand the lyrics.
Such a shame, if we had something like a global network of information accesible by anyone at the tip of our fingers...
I suggest doing the lyrical versions of their videos first before going straight into the live performances. You'll gain insight into the depth of their music & have a much better appreciation for the concert videos.
Ahhh remember when concerts were legal? Those were the days
Nothing Else Matters or The Unforgiven might’ve been a easier way into Metallica
Yeah, nothing Else matters and then their MTV performance of King Nothing 🤣
they literally destroyed the whole stage with their incomparable rawness and power, back in 19fucking89 and u acted like this shit happens at every concert u see lol
I'm in love with Habesha girls, great reaction!
Look up the lyrics it will be worth watching it..
Try Megadeth Holy Wars
React to Alice in Chains in concert 91 Man in the Box please
Can you do Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin?
Good but pantera rock
There are way better Metallica songs than this. This is an odd choice for a first time listener I think.
na dude its an amazing song in my top 10 but i do agree that a first time listener should hear something like enter sandman or wherever i may roam
Horrible request for a novice listener. Someone must have been trolling you.
Live music reactions aren't good for first time listeners
not best Metallica song to start with:p its to long and to much use of the same riffs in my opinion
