Congratulations! I have a mint sheet of seven never-used bananas still affixed to the paper from which they were to be transferred to the album covers. p.s. Eric Emerson (1945-1975) was the unfortunate Warhol superstar. on the back cover..
Gorgeous VU sleeve! BTW, IIRC, Side 1 & 2 means East Coast pressing and A & B is west coast. Likewise last names vs last names with initials of first names added is East vs West. They don’t denote early and late. However the listing of Three Prong music publishing is early and Oakfield publishing is later. I have a few lawsuit-threat stickers, which are now the rarest, since they were limited. Great video as usual!
Wow the condition of the Warhol is one for the ages. Frozen in time.Congratulations Michael. Nosferatu cover is amazing. Conny Plank is a legend 💯. Cover art on these titles are beautiful. I look forward to enjoying and welcoming the Krautrock genre into my collection . Have a great weekend. Kind regards ✊
Ich hab ne Tago Mago Erstpressung und ne Frumpy 2 mit Plastiktüte abzugeben, teuer ja, aber Zustand außergewöhnlich gut, falls jemanad aus der nähe Hamburg kommt :)
Hey Michael. Great video and fantastic pickups! Velvet Underground, nice. WOW! I paused your video and went and listened to the Nosferatu album, loved it, what a find, now I want one! Cheers

Hi Michael, Congratulations on these rarities and in this fantastic condition. 👏👏👏👏👏 Important information, CAN's first single 7" was released on the Vogue label. 👍
My fine German friend the picture looks great! Did you get a new camera? Speaking of Conny Plank I bought tickets TODAY to see Kraftwerk Multimedia Tour 2025 in Atlanta and then the following week I will see Michael Rother at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville! That's in America! alles Gute!
You are absolutely correct. I pointed this out too. This German cover with US album must be a mix and match as this isn’t an original combination. I would expect the seller would have pointed this out before purchase as it reduces the value.
I see you have a copy of the Acid Test on your shelf. Is this the rare original (of course it must be!) or the American only (I think) record store day release, also hard to find. At least in the UK. Maybe you have already talked about it. I reckon it’s pretty hard to listen to? Love your fascinating Videos
Moin Michael, in diesem Sinne, ein paar sehr schöne Exemplare, die ich z.T. als Reissue besitze. Wie heißt es so schön, die Originale werden nicht mehr. Gruß Patrick
To me it looks like your copy of VU and Nico isn’t an original US. I suspect two copies from different countries have been mixed. Why ? Well you definitely have a German sleeve (as can be seen by the sticker on the back cover top left with the German catalog number 710 004 covering the original US catalog number). Then you have a US pressed record. I believe this is still a US imported cover with a German sticker on but the record that matches this cover is the German pressing. So I suspect the reason your cover is so new looking is that someone found a mint German cover and decided to match it with a US record to up the value.
As stupid as it may sound, but could you talk about the differences in sound quality between the og Nosferatu and the version you can find on RUclips? I´d be really interested if there´s a night and day difference 🙂
If you see Conny Plank in liner notes that is an instant buy every time, no questions asked!
Happy Christmas to you and your family
Same to you!
Hi Michael, congratulations for these beautiful records, nothing wrong to take a subtle and infinity pleasure 😉
Hello Michael,
Beautiful beautiful records, really great! Greetings Julian

What a pleasure to see rare records in great shape like the ones you have just acquired in Den Bosh. Got to go there one day.

I’ve never seen a cover without the top of the banana ripped, let alone a torso cover. Absolutely amazing find

Incredible finds. My Solid Ground would have to be in my top 5 Krautrock albums. Amazing copy. Kudos. Peace
The Keith J. concert is a gem.

I can‘t find this copy of the Torso in an NM shape both record and cover under 9.000€.
Congratulations 😊
What has happend to Wall of Records? Guess it's good for my wallet it not being on, but bad for expanding my music tastes.
Happy for you Michael. Enjoy New York's finest band, the Velvet Underground with the awesome Andy Warhol cover.

VU East coast and west coast, which og is more expensive?
Ive bought a VU&Nico lately in a pretty bad shape (the record is poor) but it has the banana in 90% and also the torso. The one you got - wow
Moin Michael,

You are 100% correct. You’d think this guy would know that, but I think he must be a Johnny-come-lately when it comes to record collecting.
😎🎶💯
Woud bei nice if you make more often füll plays Off Vinyls and Upload. Thank you

Eric Emerson...
why is it called the torso cover? it's a guy's face, not a torso. that pristine banana cover is the real prize.
Congratulations for the Nosferatu! Great one! Also Achim Reichel and My Solid Ground👌😊
