I hope my friend Max hears this song. He was always bullied and picked on during school and not even the teachers did anything. He always seemed like the goody-two-shoes type, but last year he was caught writing things in the bathroom stall. Another one of my friends was dating him for a while but they broke up. Not even teachers were nice. They gave him more work, he got in trouble more, and somehow he managed to keep a smile throughout the entire school day. He may have been akward at times and not one of the popular kids, but he's still a person, and my friend too. So, one day, i saw him being picked on by a popular girl, and i stood up for him. I went up to her, pushed her away from him after she got more rude, and asked if he was OK. I made sure that she wasn't just teasing as a joke before i pushed her, just in case. I snapped at her for treating him like a punching bag and not a person. The teacher saw me telling her not to bully him, and i got in trouble. Looking back, i probably shouldn't have pushed her, but she deserved to be yelled at in that moment. I know this is a long comment, but Max, if you see this, i hope things get better for you.
