Funny enough i built an aurora AC just after the patch, too. I went for double laser hand guns and found the impact of auroras to be enough to get staggers and then just obliterate stuff with the handguns. Shade-eye head, ephemera core, nachtreiher arms and legs, SPD boosters, missile fcs, 150 energy spec generator. Its fun af. Did run in to ammo issues during specific pve missions, but thats obviously not a concern during pvp. Its really just a flying lightshow and i love it. The cooldown of auroras with 150 spec and missile fcs os just amazing. If you stagger the shots theres barely any time without auroras in the air at all
This build, an enemy only has to worry 4 huge bursts of damage. You need something to keep pressure going between reloads/opportunities. Also, alsightly staggering your missile launches also helps ensuring some always hit. Only a split second delay is needed, as they fire the salvo all at once. Other missiles, better to wait until the salvo is close to finishing, before launching the next. Also, very beautiful flashy ending, leaping over its melee thrust and putting the blast square in the back of its smug processing unit. Good job!
no, if you use a high recoil attack in tandem with something like a bazooka projectile, the projectile after the high recoil shot will fly off to nowhere

I use the Kasuar set with the Ephemera core, VP-46D arms and dual V66LS/or dual W66Es alongside Auroras. Before I used to quad shotgun; I forgot what it was like having missiles because I was too busy trying to pull max advantage from the 150 EN spec. Lower defensive performance, but high Gridwalker thrust and reverse joints make it very easy to gain height and keep it for a long time or even pursue targets.
Always had a hard time trying to justify packing a bazooka, so upon seeing your video I was inspired enough to immediately boot the game up and give your build a test run, can vouch for its effectiveness. Didn't want to copy it 1:1 though, so I swapped to the Appetizer headpiece, Alba arms, and NGI 001 thrusters. Reduces some bulk in exchange for faster base speed and air mobility, and I personally prefer violent thrusts over the Gill's rapid dodges. The increase in EN efficiency didn't hurt either. Melander head is probably the better pick as you've likely figured out, but I'll find any excuse to justify the Appetizer.
the bazookas with buffed projectile speed can reliably replace shotguns at sub-100m range now. their only downside is the firing position lock, but honestly they make up for it with _huge_ damage and stagger
Great vid, i had an aurora build with 2 laser pistols but youre correct that it struggles to build impact. I may have to adopt this setup especially since this particular laser shotty has beem buffed.
I can't believe I forgot about my favorite shotgun! exellent combos 👍🏾 Charge weapons can be made to maintain charge between shots with proper timing. It's hard to do during fast fights, but it can catch opponents off guard and really ramps up DPS
Might be, the player name, symbol, and general AC color scheme match at least. The AC's name in his Earwig video is "Tinnitis" and its loadout is completely different though.
I've been shocked with how well the Auroras have performed for me in PvP. I cram them into a lighter weight build with the laser handguns and I run reverse joints out of personal preference. The Auroras actually do pretty decent sustained impact on their own, and particularly if you can land a kick with the reverse joints you can definitely find staggers while also applying a lot of pressure even without them. The one last adjustment I'd like to see for the Auroras is just a bit more ammo for PvE, 25 salvos isn't a lot for a weapon that fires almost every 4 seconds.
Very good and fun build. I tried making an energy weapon build of my own using the diffused shoulder cannon, small laser rifle, plasma missiles and moonlight but I just didn't really enjoy piloting it. Hey Crightt, definitely going to be messing around with the auroras after this, I didn't notice that high direct hit damage. Is there a reason you chose not to put this build on a tetrapod instead? I figure with all the charge shots and missile launching you're doing it might be a little better optimized.
Yes, Tetrapods weigh too much so you're too slow with the Gills. Energy management with Bipeds is also better. If you notice some of my gameplay often times when I jump I want to just ascend and not hover in place. However, you also don't have the energy to hover high, nor do I want to hover high because they would be out of range. Biped allows me to control the distance I want to be at for the particular engagement which is especially apparent in the lightweight close range matchups.
Chrightt, im asking a lot of people in aid to make a cloak and dagger style of AC using shield and dagger, I have made some takes on a build i think works, but if you dont mind would like to know your opinion on weapons that support that others to do their best work. I have a dagger melee build that I will show. Perhaps that can give you some ideas. Other than that I think the rest of the kit is pretty standard melee kit, so definitely go for weapons that do better at close range and suffer less from recoil if you're running Basho arms. For the other back, I would consider something that can poke the enemy so they won't have an easy time lowering their acc. impact.
When I saw the Aurora changes I did the same thing: made a build with the VE-20B to maximize their damage. I ended up going for a heavyweight close quarters tetra using a laser pistol and needle gun. The laser pistol/needle gun combo along with aggressive ABing builds up stagger quickly, and it's super easy to set up opponents for direct hit Auroras. I've yet to lose a match with this build, it's just extremely oppressive. The fact that the Auroras recharge and lock quickly just makes peoples lives hell.

The heck?? I thought shoulders were independant from engines
The Aurora is a "light wave cannon" so they gave it an exception with the newest patch: ruclips.net/video/7hxU71XyYh4/видео.html
@@Chrightt oh its the only one? Thanks for clarifying
Hey do you play on ps5? Or series x?
I play on PC
Love the idea of an energy missile but I can’t leave my coral generators ❤
They'll still be better on coral gens then they were pre-patch. It's like what, 110 energy spec? So 5% more damage and 10% faster charge I believe
@@Darksiege357 yeah- I tried them earlier this week and felt like the plasma missiles give me just as much guidance and extra aoe potential. Maybe I’ll give them another try tomorrow.
@@EStephensII plasmas are pretty amazing tbh, especially in pvp so fair
@@Darksiege357 agreed! I saw Vaati use them in his early Chapter 1 play through at launch, and I’ve been hooked ever since!
The best part of plasma missiles is how quickly they kick, they like never miss and you can just reflexively fire as soon as they reload.
My aurora still misses most of the time
Weird. I cant get them to hit anything.
What is your FCS? They have slow aiming (the yellow bar/curve) so that might be the reason.
@@takumiyoshimoto9542 FCS doesn't affect their ability to hit things once they're locked. They just cannot hit the broad side of a barn at mid-long ranges.
Auroras work more like a shotgun, they're kinda hard to avoid at close range from my experience using them and being on the recieving end, don't fire both of then at once though.
nah, any range has like a 40% chance to hit for me. moving targets are usually worse. @@GFMarine
I CANNOT use the bazookas rn their netcode is literally broken yu dnt even have t aim it in pvp, just fire it into the sky and watch your opponents ap just glitch away
I think this happens when you and your opponent's connection is not good (like different countries). Happened to me in one of the matches too where the Bazookas just seem to be hitting shots you're not supposed to land. Unfortunate, but when it is working well it's nice.
@@Chrightt absolutely
Eh, aurora is always super easy to dodge for me, maybe one of the blue tendrils hits at most and that’s if I had to dodge last second because I was waiting on the QB reload
While i see the usefulness of these, i still think these are redundant compared to the absolute nuke that is the coral missile launchers
Bingspoy
lol the next Myndrrr build got leaked
Imagine wanting to put a clip of yourself dunking on Iguazu and the loser makes you go through 2 repair kits and a core expansion lol
very similar to a build i was playing. i used the ephemera core and a moonlight though, and cant remember if i was using the laser shotgun or handgun, cant remember what my energy load allowed.
