Had a lot of success with Explode the Code for my 1st grader. He was struggling with reading and we now use a mix of Masterbooks, Good and Beautiful and Explode the Code. He was diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech, Autism, ADHD. Thanks for your video! Subbed.

Thanks for the Math Mammoth suggestion! I'm looking for something for my ASD 7 year old son. He has been in school since he was 4 and still can't identify his numbers past 10. The past two years he has been in an intensive hybrid homeschool program. His 3 year old brother, in the same program, can already identify numbers, so I finally realized I needed to look at alternative teaching methods. I never thought of the dot system before!

Hope it helps! Numberblocks taught my one son all about numbers. Not my ASD but still, it may help. Another curriculum for asd that taught my asd son to read has a special math system called Diana Craft. That may help when nothing else does!

Your videos are amazing. Have you heard of rightstart math? Do you have a video that goes more independent of nutrition you use? Would you ever review products from rooted in language?

I have really researched right start math and math with confidence is comparable but costs less and takes less time each lesson so I went with that :)
Essentially I try to get as much nutrition into my son as possible. I could more in depth if you like :) I avoid dairy and try to avoid sugar that's not honey, fruit or maple syrup. But some sugar once a week or twice and dairy once a week for pizza seems to do no damage. I have never heard of rooted in language but I will look it up! (Oh yes, the pinwheels! I nevee tried it yet...do you like it) THANKS FOR WATCHING :)

      MY KIDS AS WELL :)
I found success with RIGHT BRAIN PHONICS for reading. I did not do the whole program. Just the books and flash cards. They help where other programs do not. Also Frazzels Flash Cards for sight words (amazon) works amazing. Math U See I use with my asd child. And I just explore what they love for reading. I must must must keep it simple in our home...Reading, Math and I am working more Writing in.

I have! I think I ordered it and it's on its way. I am excited to see it. I only ordered the reading portion though. Did you get the whole package?

@@HomeschoolShoppingChannel no I haven’t ordered yet I’m still debating. My autistic 7 year old son is doing ok with the Good and Beautiful level 1. I’m just not sure he is retaining what he is learning that is why I am thinking of getting Logic of English.
