Can agree that Aya is the WORST thing I have EVER ingested. Awful. It’s horrendous. I did a three day ceremony and did multiple doses the first day. Second and third day I just did one to participate.
Interestingly it did not make me “purge” but everyone around me was vomiting up their demons. I went bc I have PTSD and was looking for healing. Of the 30ish ppl that went there were like five army guys who went together (also PTSD). The sounds those guys were making while throwing up was absolutely terrifying. It sounded like they were vomiting up demons. It was extremely extremely loud and violent vomiting. It was actually frightening. The guy next to me had IBS and he was vomiting like crazy and sobbing loudly. He had a ton of toilet paper wadded up around him. He tried to hit on me after and he creeped me out. Another guy was dancing and was an amazing dancer. I just smiled the whole time and enjoyed the live music ceremony. I didn’t want to close my eyes too much. By the third day I just wanted it to be over. Three days is way too much. Two days max is okay. The people who do the ceremonies do it all the time. I don’t know how.
I don’t recommend that most people do it. The reason is that almost all of the people that offer ceremonies are doing it for profit, they can be very cult-ish, they lie about it being legal bc they have some bogus religious pass from the Native American Church. If you want to go down a crazy rabbit hole, look up James Warren Mooney.
Basically if anyone says that they can “legally” perform aya ceremonies bc they are affiliated with the ONAC, run.
Be very cautious and do your research. It is extremely important if you have any contraindications bc you CAN die if you are taking certain meds like SSRI’s. It’s not something to take lightly. Also, if the medicine isn’t cooked properly, you can also die. I would be cautious taking Aya without trusting the people who cooked it. A “friend,” for example.
I do agree that Aya should be legal BUT I believe they should be working with the DEA. The group I chose to go with said they now get to take their “sacrament” through customs. They are trying to become recognized as a religious group. I have some suspicions though bc they were doing very irresponsible things like ending the ceremony on the third day and making everyone leave (drive off in their vehicles) after staying up all night for the ceremony with no sleep at all.
I would do it again bc it is beneficial. I just don’t think it’s going to make all your problems go away. For me it was a nice break from my mental prison. I do think there is a possibility to heal spiritually though bc I saw a dark black “cloud” come out the top of someone’s head when the aya was wearing off.

This is actually wild bc seeing the machine elves is a known and relatively-common experience on DMT, but not traditionally associated with ayahuasca - even though the main "active ingredient" in ayahuasca is DMT. Even now, people debate whether machine elves are somehow inherent to the DMT experience or whether the trope self-perpetuates because people expect to see them... but this is the first report I've ever heard of someone seeing them on ayahuasca, despite the chemical overlap. I am so, so curious if Fifi Dosch knew about the machine elves before taking ayahuasca!!

I wish people knew how scary and miserable it is to be trans when no one approves of it.
Its like you're simply not allowed to exist.
If you dont transition you're miserable because of the gender dysphoria.
If you transition you're miserable from becoming isolated and losing your loved ones.
Its a lose lose situation with no way out.
