Hmmm...I was going to leave a toxic comment on how much bullshittery this video involved, a 19 minute video on what I actually needed to find out, "How to start an expedition on your main save!" As your vidya stated.... I feel like a dumb ass now because you've covered everything and more than I needed to know. A bit odd how the save/expedition saves work...like you said, defeats the purpose. Thanks heaps for a really good video!
Probably just made your expedition a little tougher this time around putting all that tech & resources in the expedition launcher. I wonder if it uses a current save or creates an entirely new save as previous expeditions?
What happens if I started but screwed up what I wanted to take with me over to the expedition I can't figure out how I would restart it like why would you over look something like that
I started the expedition yesterday and put a lot of items in the loadout section, but I didn't get them when I started the expedition? Does anyone know what might of went wrong?
It's the outlaws cape, it's from quicksilver rewards. The hood is from spending void motes at the terminal in some Autophage camps. Yes, you can still get them, but for the Autophages, I think you have to complete most of the game's story missions before you can find them.
It's a sentinel ship. You'll need to complete most of the storylines in the game, then you'll get a mission to check out one of the buildings that locate them for you
@@MacForaday thanks. I guess i didn't play enough to get those missions yet. Kinda new to the game so didn't know atlas path isn't the last thing in there.
@@mxaa9776 theres a Ton of different ships and a Ton of Videos showing the locations, so you can just pick which one you like and go Grab it if you have met the requirements

Same save, you can switch back at the Nexus

You can just switch back to the original "reality" as I call it, in the Nexus, and send yourself more stuff
@MacForaday see I was able to add anything else maybe I was having a glitch that I couldn't add anything to the thing after I started the expedition

How to get the items you brought along? I had a ton of stuff and none of it came with me.
Anything you put in the storage at the terminal has to be claimed there again after you switch to the other "reality"

What if i didn't start it through my main save.
Then you can claim the expedition rewards on your main save, but not transfer normal items back
So if i start with my main save, does it remove all my progress from my character like ships and items from inventory?
Only while you are on the expedition. You get everything back when you end the expedition
So what happened at the end of the expedition? Did your two saves become one again or are you stuck with two saves?

Only if you do it the way I showed in the video, and only if you started the expedition from your main save
