- Welcome back to a new flight from Philadelphia Int. Airport (KPHL) to Frankfurt int. Airport (EDDF).
This time you join me on one of several routes over the atlantic ocean that discover airlines operates!
I picked Philadelphia because it's always a nice route in and out as well as an interesting approach and departure. Join me in the A330 Cockpit during push back, taxi, takeoff and we even catch a glimpse into the cruise flight phase over the atlantic and all that rounded up with a beautiful sunrise landing in Frankfurt!
This flight is not just about connecting two continents, it's an adventure over the Atlantic, offering a unique perspective from the cockpit and showcasing the details that make being an airline pilot and first officer an unparalleled experience. Join me on this remarkable journey!
As always sit back and enjoy!

Will be flying with you all on July 16th, after years and years of flying with LH itself for trips to visit family for over a decade, i'm super excited to fly on Discover. Another airline to add to my collection. Appreciate the video! Always love seeing the professionalism in the cockpit!
Great Video! And very interesting explanations😃
Thanks that means a lot 🙌✌️
Nice!!!! Philly area, that's my area!!! Hope your stay was good times!!!! I fly out of Philly a lot and its nice to see we got some flight deck footage from the home town airport!!!! We have a lot of flights out of the city, I am surprise to not see more footage of PHL on youtube. Anyway, thanks for the fun video!
The layover is always a lot of fun in Philly! I love the city. Glad you enjoyed the content! Thanks for watching ✌️🙌

Really nice video Pascal! I love this sort of content. Very unique and interesting. I’m planning on starting at a flight school near Copenhagen in summer after I’m done with the Danish version of high school. Very excited :)
Your videos are really intresting... I really enjoyed watching the video... Just amazing ✨
Thats an amazing video man!
Cool video with the best pilot RUclipsr🔥✈️
a new pascal video is a good day
Nice video ! It’s a dream of mine to fly from Philly across the Atlantic to Europe as a pilot, was really nice to see this. Beautiful early morning arrival too, stunning light, and a good landing is always sweet.
I really appreciate your support and enthusiasm for aviation. That means a lot! Chase your dreams mate 🙌🛫
@@Pascalklr Thanks man, got my instrument rating in a few days time !
Love the videos
Thanks a lot mate 🙌
i saw on instagram that u was in philadelphia so i waited for this video hahaha keep it up man✈️
You make it seem like such a chilled experience, which I guess it would be for you now. Were you ever afraid of heights and had to overcome that?
"gear up" music drop ❤
Nice video! I always wonder, how do you know at what position in the pattern you are? Do you have a sort of gps map like you put in the video? Or do you rely on landmarks/ATC directions?
Our!!! I'm loving it . I'm a new follower. I am from Brazil. I think you must have been here several times. Brazil is beautiful!!! Come visit us one day. Big hug 😊
Nice video my guy. I wanna be a pilot when I am older, so I am very interested in planes.Keep working on your great videos
I‘m sure you‘re gonna become a pilot
i believe in you😂
Thanks mate, that means a lot 🙌✌️
Nice Vid! Do you prefer the GE or RR Engines?
Do I have to know German to be employed by a German airline? (Lufthansa, Eurowings, Discover, etc.) My German sure isn’t the best😅 Love your videos Pascal! You’re for sure an Idol of mine!
If my knowledge is correct it is required for lufthansa, the other airlines might have different criteria (which im not familiar with).
In most German airlines that is the case. Or at least level 5 as far as I know. Thanks mate! That means a lot 🙌💪
I know for a fact that you’re expected to have a pretty decent level of german for Eurowings
Did you have to do any position reports over the ocean, or does ACARS or CPDLC automatically perform those position reports for you?
How many hours of layover do you have on these long-haul flights between the outbound and return flights?
Paskalklr is bak lesssssgo
Great video! I'm just a high school student who dreams to be a pilot one day, so I'm curious: did you go to university after finishing high school or did you go directly to flight school? What was your experience like? Thanks !
After my Highschool I went to Uni first since no one was hiring… If there was, I probably would have gone to flight school directly. I would say it depends if you want to have a plan B or not. Hope you’ll find the right choice. Happy landings 🙌✌️
@@Pascalklr thanks! I currently don't have a plan B, but I'm dedicated towards becoming a pilot. After this year, i still have 2 years left of school before i graduate. I'm thinking about maybe going to university in germany since my dream airline to work for is Lufthansa and you are required to have a good level in German there (and I'm still learning it as a beginner) so I think uni would give me the opportunity to learn the language and help me with my chances of getting hired.
Anyways thanks for replying to my comment!
Are you a cockpit member? Are you guys not on strike? I hope you get a proper contract!
Can I ask you a question? When I filter eurowings a330 family on FLIGHTRADAR24 it doesn’t show that they have it, only a319’s 20’s and 21’s why is that? By the way Brussels airlines owns a320’s and a330’s with eurowings livery.. maybe u work for them??
do you have any plans on getting type rated on the a350s or the a380s anytime soon
I already have the type rating for the A350 in my license since the A330/350 is a combined rating. I would love to fly it in the future 💪✌️
@@Pascalklr so if eurowings were to aqquire a350s in their fleet would you be able to transition between them
Hallo Pascal, since you’ve studied at EFA i have a question currently i live in Dubai and I’m doing my Abitur here, where applying for EFA do i have to do a Studienkolleg? You well help me a lot if respond to my comment Thx good luck 🍀
with app do you use on this ipad?
Second. Also do you fly to london heathrow
His airline does, but not on the a330 which he flies
@@drift13no it doesn‘t he works at Discover Airlines
Since I’m only flying longhaul, unfortunately not. ✌️🙌
I want to know have you ever been to pakistan ???
Hi brother !
Are pilots really making north of 40000$ per month in all united states airlines ?
😊
Eurowings??
4:31 Wie großzügig 😂
Do you still have permission to film? Discover told me that they had told their pilots to not film anymore.
I understand if you want to delete this comment, but please contact me after.
Clickbait, should be 9 hours long
