In this video, I’m sharing the exact steps I follow to set up courses and memberships in Kartra, in the most efficient way possible.
A few pieces you’ll want to have handy:
Your logo on a graphic with dimensions of 250 px by 50 px (you can do this in Canva)
Your course name and logo on a graphic with dimensions of 1440 px by 1080 px, centered.
Your course welcome email (optional - you can also edit this later).

Is there a way to only get people who sign up for the course to access it? I'm guessing that's through a form? Like if there is a prior form to register interest
In your membership settings, be sure to select YES under "password protection" (first tab of settings).
Then, usually people grant access to a course via a checkout page/Product. If you want to share it for free you can also do it via a Form - you'd need to set up an automation that grants people access to that Membership each time that particular Form is filled in.

My question is this. I already have a membership lesson in Karta. I now want to add a new course. How do I do that? Do I need to add a new membership?
Yes :) "Membership" in Kartra essentially means Course. So if you're looking to create an entirely separate course to sell, you'd create that in a new Membership. And then if you want to have a central place for students to access multiple courses they've purchased from you, you can set up a Portal to place the memberships "inside".

Hello, I put together my membership page, and the video above shows no way to launch. How do I get people to see it?
Usually people will create a sales/checkout page where people can purchase the membership. In this case, you'd create a Sales Page and set up the membership in the Products section in Kartra. Within the Product's settings, you'd select for the buyer to get access to that particular membership.
