007 - The World Is Not Enough N64 - Underground Uprising - 00 Agent

- This mission can be really hard if you don't wait for the civilians to escape before engaging the terrorists. Once again, on parts where you have to save the hostages, go one by one slowly and they shouldn't shoot anyone if you're fast enough once you sight them.
For the bomb, don't keep Z pressed, just a few presses per second and make sure the red bar doesn't reach the end, or else it'll explode.
Don't forget to leave a "like" and subscribe if you enjoyed the video!

Didn't realize at the time how high quality this game was and how much it squeezed out of the N64
N64 was THEE SHIT!!
It's being upscaled. It looks like shit on real hardware.
Yes it was very amazing and very much ahead of it's time. I'm surprised the people who made this video game didn't try to get the actual actors and actresses from the movie to reprise their roles for this
@@groidcel it doesn't, there's a high resolution mode in this game sure it doesn't look good as in here but still looks good nonetheless
Eurocom did an incredible job they designed a flexible engine made from the ground up for the N64.
Gotta love how the trains come every 5 seconds and never stop! XD
@KYLE RITTENHOUSE - AMERICAN HERO You were expecting immersion in an N64 game?
This game is highly underrated!
Goldeneye gets too much praise but this game was also good.
For it's time it was. Probably because it was made at the end of the N64 era.
I always loved that sound effect they used for the Raptor Magnum
The bomb on the toilet looks like a Sega Genesis with CD add on.
no, with the 32x add on
Another good reason for defusing it fast so !
@@soldatblague Yep
It's scary that this level make me think of the events of July 7, 2005.
Why
@@girlcrazyrockstar Maybe this will make it clear for you:

The multiplayer with bots was addictive.
fцику мцику agreed
Man tell me why they got M on this game looking like a combination of Caesar from Planet of the Apes and George W Bush lmaoo.

Underrated comment
@@rob1508 Thanks Man!
0:39 it's dangerous to go alone! take this.
Underrated game imo, especially overlooked because it was released so close to the end of N64’s run. I remember the framerate being decent, even in multiplayer, and not coming to a screeching halt like it did when there was more than one explosion in Goldeneye. Weapon selection was diverse and fun, and multiplayer AI was solid. Never got far on the campaign but I mainly played the game for multiplayer anyways. Thanks, as always, Graslu00
You're welcome! It's definitely a nice game but I think it stays behind GoldenEye for good reason.
The framerate is really impressive for the hardware, it's really well optimized and it rarely drops from 15-20fps on real hardware, with 20-25fps being the average.
Sadly things like gunplay took a hit due to censorship, where there's no blood, no bullet trails, and the enemies feel like concrete action figures. Multiplayer with friends I'd consider GE more fun but TWINE better if you're only one or two players, thanks to the bots.
The AI in the singleplayer campaign is also lacking in many aspects here in TWINE, specially hostage AI which runs into enemy fire all the time.
Definitely a game worth of playing, but the campaign can be exhausting at times and the gameplay definitely took a hit in terms of player feedback.
@@Graslu00 This game is number one
@@Graslu00 Great analysis. Interesting comment about enemy animation; enemies seem stiff to me (though less so in this video). Your video is the first time I have appreciated n64 emulation. The resolution/framerate improvements are so great the game could be mistaken for a Dreamcast game. Random note: Eurocom made great fire in Duke Nukem 64 and multiplayer in this game.
Damn, the AI was always pretty harsh on this game in my opinion. You were definitely more prepared than they were. Good job!
It's nice how not only do they try to faithfully follow the plot of the movie they also add some new, original locations that were not in the film. I guess trying to make a video game based on a movie follows the same principle of adapting a book into a movie: you gotta add and change certain things to keep the audience interested. Awesome playthrough, keep it up!
P.S It's a bit unusual to disarm a bomb that planted on a toilet seat, don't you think?
explosive diarrhea ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It kind of has to be. Even Goldeneye had to do that or else you'd have like four missions.
I love how you can hear the ejected shotgun shell coming out of the terrorist's shotgun in the men's room 🚹
To me that was realistically awesome.
Before now, i found it difficult to pass this level 4. I got stuck in the middle, unable to locate where to use the bomb disposal kit. Thanks for sharing. #Bond is here!
Glad to help!
It's okay, at least you did good.
Those terrorists sure are considerate. They let hostages and potential hostages run away rather than try and kill any of them.
they mentioned 009, that so cool
Bon is here
Holy shit, those graphics compared to GoldenEye. Insane.
This mission kicked my ass as a kid
Bond needs to remember that he must keep to the right when on London Underground escalators!
Anyone else think level inspired the subway scene in Skyfall?
I always thought it was inspired by the real London subway attack.
@@taylorpayne8269 no London attack came after, predictive programing.
Nostalgic af.
No sabía donde estaba la bomba, muchas gracias por tu ayuda.
Bond is here.
Lacks the charm and atmosphere from GoldenEye.
put your nostalgia goggles away, it was completely developed by other company
okay, so?
@@papayer TWINE is no GE but still a pretty damm good James Bond game
I'd say I prefer it with how the levels are designed
@@KokoroKatsura It still lacks the charm and atmosphere from Goldeneye. Still a good game, just not as charming or "kick ass" feeling as Goldeneye.
Pretty busy train schedule
Best level hands down.
I had NO idea about that grapple point at the end in the stairwell!
This was my favorite mission of the game... but I failed in the bomb defusing part around 20 times before figuring it out. But I was 10 at the time so I guess I can be forgiven 😁
Wish the guards were more like they are in Goldeneye
Everytime I played this that was my favorite gun one shot kill
Like the laser scope though.
I was playing Nightfire on ps2 yesterday. Now I know where the Rapter got it's start! It's pretty underpowered in Nightfire though and I hardly used it for that reason.
It's actually pretty okay in Nightfire if you hit headshots, otherwise yeah it's pretty much trash and you're better off using the PPK.
Graslu00 play nightfire on The GameCube As Well.
This and Nightwatch were my favorite levels.
The one in the mansion, where you kill Electra is awesome too. The best levels in my opinion
Nightwatch, midnight departure and fallen angel are the best 3
Gotta admit it, they did a pretty nice job at optimization.
After seeing this, I think I’m going to get this emulator. I’ve got a fantastic gaming desktop so it’ll run perfectly fine. I’ve been playing the original game on my N64 for 20 years now but it’s all pixelated on my Vizio. These graphics are so much better.
Just make sure to get the latest version and not 1.6!
You're controller is so precise in moving around as mine is a Purple generic controller and my aiming is all over the place, like even my toggle switch even sticks sometimes were it keeps going up and down on the screen like at a menu screen on it own.
Bond is here!
Another stuff that i liked about this game is the animations of the enemy while get shooted and fall deads.
You deserve so many more subs.
Am I the only one who would use that SMG on Semi Auto? It always seemed like an upgraded pistol to me.
Looks more like the Paris Metro. I wonder why the UK-based Eurocom weren't able to faithfully recreate the Underground?
Oh? Shame nothing else is.
Thanks for help of this mission
I wonder how you play these shooters on controller so perfectly ? BTW thanks video really helped me to find that bomb.
If you defuse the bomb with 0:07 seconds left you get full health and armor.
*DONTSHOOT!*
Wow finally beat this after at least 50 tries... so hard on 00 agent man this game is brutal.
This level and any with hostages is a mess on 00 Agent, the civilians die too quick to either their shots when they try to shoot at you or them getting in your way.
Andddd almost 2 years later another 35 tries because my save slot was deleted…
This game gets hate for no reason. Not revolutionary like Goldeneye, but refined and challenging - a solid fps title that is loyal to the James Bond franchise.
The game is good but it gets a lot of deserved criticism. The character animations are way worse, map geometry is better but some textures are really bad - including yet again characters. A lot of the level design leaves a lot to desire as well, and relies A LOT on hostages that die in one shot even from ricochets, instantly failing the whole mission. Perfect Dark also did many things TWINE did months earlier, and better.
As I mentioned, it's a good game, but it's not perfect, and definitely not better than GE.
@@Graslu00 Couldn't agree more . Just want to say all your 007 playthroughs are great, and much respect for playing nearly all of them. Awesome work.
@@jonathanhartman9101 Thanks! I'll have more 007 games eventually. Working on more longplays.
Great now I can finish my game
I must admit that I never too interested in this game, but I have played up to the subway level.
But yeah, in all honesty, the game was good, but it didn't exactly tickle my fancy in the same way Goldeneye did. Sound design was fine for what it was worth, but the guns all sounded slightly too similarly in terms of power and the music being generically "action". Graphically, it did beat out Rare's shooter, but the guards were more or less just faceless mooks. The UI is a bit more cluttered, though it also does show which gadget you were using. Goldeneye could stand up as both a parody and serious adaptation to its movie, whereas TWINE is trying to stay with the serious aspect. Needless to say, there were somethings that worked here and others that didn't work so well, though I could only play up to the Subway level, since I could never get past it.
I liked the form how you disable the bomb.
It does this game has a high quality of graphics and audio.
Loved this game haha
5'10
Bond shoots his own wire
*GeNiuS*
Huh?
2:45 lol
This shit took me like ,100 trys when all i had to do is just stay still in shoot them from distance
I would shoot sometimes the bomb for S&G’s, and get the non-standard game over
Am Ii the only one who thinks this was better then Goldeneye N64?
Nintendofangeek I enjoyed TWINE more than GoldenEye, especially the co-op split screen.
True
Yes.
@Jonty Campbell - lol dont know if you're joking but Goldeneye didnt have any voice acting xD
A lot better than goldeneye
could never get past the 3rd mission on n64. that girl always outran me
It happens a lot man
BOND IS HERE
What is the guy in the subway saying is it something about pick pockets
I only got past this level twice on 00 Agent bc of how difficult it is to save the last round of hostages. And of course I don't have a Controller Pak (do those things even work anymore?) so I couldn't save my progress.
@Graslu00 What's your setup? The video quality is so awesome!
I played this on PC with Project64 1.6.1, using Glide64 'Final', Azimer's Audio Plugin and the original N64 controller.
Don't Shoot!
what button do i use to disable the bomb?
Select the gadget and use the Z button, if I remember correctly.
thx
@@Matheus-tz7qq I think z button is the one.
the game level design is so boring :( great video btw :)
EpicGift right it looks unfinished
Seriously, what did you expect from an n64?
I've played this game hint, in case u don't know the bomb, james needs to shut off the bomb before it explods it in the girls bathroom. 👌3:31
I loved this game when I was 15 used to smoke weed a lot back then don’t now great game
Are you running this in Project64 ? If so how are you getting 60fps.
This is Project64 yes, not 60fps though, just recorded at 60. The game runs at a steady framerate of 20-30fps even on original hardware.
@@Graslu00 Ok. Thanks.
How do you swap through gadgets without pressing start?
I think it's by pressing B and Z, or A and Z.
Things I hate about this level
1) Why couldn't it have had SOMETHING to do with the boat scene? I mean, you do the ski chase, so it's not like it's about consistency
2) The subway is pointless and unrealistic. Plus, if you figure out how to board it, shouldn't there be something good on it? Instead of bad guys who could kill you?
3) It discourages watching the movie all together, which is the only way to know how to escape from the 10-second bomb with Christmas Jones later
esse jogo é perfeito
What was the person saying over the intercom?
is there a mouse injector for this game?
Not one that fully works, no.
Excuse me sir this area is off limits we have a hostage situation
I'm with MI6 let me through
Goldeneye>The World is Not Enough
What a controversial and totally original opinion
Perfect Dark > both
I prefer this game over Goldeneye. Bite me for disrespecting my opinion guys
Well, that is your opinion

hi
How do u defuse that damn bomb 😂
0:55
A clear downgrade from GoldenEye even though it came out afterwards
nostalgia fanboy detected.
The subways are never that punctual ... dead game
What time to defuse the bomb i keep dying on this level
Don't hold Z with the defuser, you have to tap it and keep an eye on the blue and red bars. Blue is the defuse progress and red is the trigger. If red hits the maximum it'll explode.
@@Graslu00 ok thank you so much ill give it try
And a tip: if you defuse the bomb when the timer has exactly 7 seconds left (007 reference), you can restore your health and body armor.
DONT SHOOT
Why's the picture on my screen so crappy compared to this?
This is an emulator running at 1080p natively instead of the real console which was barely 240p. To get the best quality out of the N64 you'd need a CRT TV with S-Video or an HDMI modded console.
Thankyou for your reply. I'll consider your advice👍
were did u get the ROM?
Emuparadise is a good place to look for ROMs.
What emulator are you using?
Project64, use the latest developer version.
I hate this damn mission
How do I use the bomb thing
You have to select it and keep pressing Z making sure the red bar doesn't reach the top.
@@Graslu00 is the bomb in the gadgets
@@ramealhenry93 The defuser yes it is. You access it through the menu.
@@Graslu00 I still dont know how u use it I'm playing it on my phone
@@ramealhenry93 You just have to choose it, aim at the bomb and keep pressing Z (the shoot button) while you hear the clicks. Don't let the red bar get to the top or it'll explode.
Who else shot the bomb the first time
x)
i need help with this its too fucking hard
Where are you having problems with it?
the hostages part
It's rather hard yeah, but try using the Raptor as I did so you can kill the terrorists fast.
This game was such a disappointment compared to goldeneye
It was not, in some areas it was better
this should be called the worst is not enough i dont like this game as goldeneye
LUIS G R The game is depicted from the Movie that is why you feel like that.
this game is killing goldeneye tbh
TWINE was another good Brosnan Bond movie unlike DAD and TND.
Fight Me! It sold less due to being towards the end of the N64 lifespan. Level design and presentation are better here.
gameragodzilla I'd really question the 'better level design' statement. They may be more linear and that makes them less confusing, but this video is a great example of flawed design.
TWINE suffers it thorough the full game whenever there are hostages, and it's that usually they're placed on tight spots in rooms full of enemies, and a single bullet from either them or you will kill them, failing the mission and starting all over.
GoldenEye did hostages much better with slower reaction time from enemies and letting you at least have three innocent casualties before giving you an objective failed.
Not related to level design, but gunplay is also better done in GE64 and the feedback given to the player when hitting enemies is way more polished and feels much better. TWINE had a lot of censorships regarding the new rules MGM put over Bond games after GoldenEye's success and it shows.
I have this game.. And if you have played Goldeneye or Perfect Dark. This game is soo boring. slow and one miss and you have to start over. It is the same "boring" sound and so on. Also the all the guns and so on is not very effective. Maybe to real for it to be good. There is not much extra that you can play around with here.
Na.. Dont buy this game. There is other games or time to lay on something else. i havent played my game over ten years. But my other 12 N64 Games i have i play sometimes now and then.
Weapon sounds in TWINE have much more of a punch to them than perfect dark or goldeneye, and the one shot and miss thing you mention is much more prolific in goldeneye especially when they seemed to really like putting in endlessly spawning enemies at the end of each level meaning you end up wasting hours nearly beating a level but end up getting whittled away by a never ending threat.
Rare didn't make this game. That's why it was crap.
HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!HAAAAHAAHAHHHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........he he hahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uhh! you sir, need to take up stand-up comedy
Just because Rare didn't make it doesn't mean it's crap.
EA sucks at making games bro, all their games are shitty versions of what a good game should really be.
+Fight Me Oh look, another EA hater completely exaggerating how bad EA has become, EA weren't always as bad as people have been saying but people are letting their hate blind them to the point where they now say that EA were always bad which isn't at all true. All the EA hate started around Mass Effect 3 because of the endings. Just because TWINE wasn't as good as Goldeneye back then doesn't mean it was a bad game.
All the later Bond games such as Everything or Nothing, Agent Under Fire and Nightfire were published by EA and they still turned out great unlike when Activision started to publish Bond games like Quantum of Solace, Goldeneye Wii and 007 Legends which were terrible.
