Pretty nice. Might have to check these out. I like the smoke/red. How do they cast. Im a Striper guy but boatless. PS nice garage. Neat clean organized....
If you are boatless you will need to get the (Star Mag) one for surf fishing or casting from a bank as it gives you backlash control. The SG ones or more for just dropping straight down and thumbing. Not unless you are super awesome at casting with no backlash control at all. Thank you on the compliment on the garage. That is my old one. Had to move and had to organize one all over again.
Small game for those fish. LG would be for larger tarpon and along those line. Most fish would be fine on the SG. Large game just has a huge capacity of line and more drag but overkill for any inshore fish
Yes they are good reels. Just like everything else they have gone up a bit in price since I have purchased them. But for the price compared to other equivalent reels by far the simplicity makes them durable. Depending on how much you use them will dictate how often you get them serviced. But I send back every 2 years. It’s like 25 dollars per reel and they come back brand new. They take apart, clean, lubricate and replace bearings. Lifetime warranty is also good. I would but again if I ever needed too. Lol. I don’t think they will ever need replacing.

@@rjmfishtales thank you. . Ill go with the small game.
@rainsong7327 you will love. Simple no BS reel
@@rjmfishtales can you suggest a rod ? Thanks
@rainsong7327 that is a hard one to answer because not sure what technique you want to do or what you are fishing for.
Do you still feel they are great reels ? Would you buy another one? Thanks for the video

@@rjmfishtales Thanks. I’ll give one a shot
I think you will enjoy it. You can call them and get some custom colors done as well! Let me know what you think when you get it.
Just one question if you would how bad is the side load pressure on the lever drag when you button down the drag to close to max drag.
Are you asking if it’s bad? I am not 100 percent sure what you are asking. I personally never had to go max drag.
