if anyone is having problems with the screen showing to connect your apple mouse and keyboard, shutdown the vm and enable usb3.0 in the settings. worked fine for me after that
@@TechWise2022 BTW - Any idea how to get the Webcam to work? I have tried USB 2, USB3, reserving it, and adding it from the devices drop down. USB3 usually crashes the VM the others either give a black video or webcam not found. It usually errors on the side and says busy. Thanks

If anyone is doing it to develop a KMM project: don’t do the same mistake I did, choose Ventura and not Monterney OS. I had finished all my dowloads, which took me hours, to realise that I needed the next OS version, so I have to download the iso file again 😅
Absolutely brilliant! Congrats! Only issue is it says my graphics card doesn't support 3D acceleration so I had to deselect that. Bit weird as this is an iGPU AMD 680M so definitely supports 3D no issues.

Upon installing Big Sur, I wanted to install Xcode which I found out I needed version 14.5 of the macOS to install. I updated the OS in the system preferences to Sequoia but it refused to reboot thereafter. Could you possibly do a video or do you have any info on how to install an older version of Xcode on this version of Big Sur? Is that possible or are there other free versions that would meet requirements for 14.5? I get stuck in the about remaining time box.... I got a i7 intel (8 core)/ 32GB / 120GB SSD empty with 70GB for the BigSur / Win 11 pc. Catalina i was able to install without any problems with this guide. I deleted that and used the same MacOS name for the BigSur.... it just wont work... Waited for 6 - 7 hours .. .4 times, but it wont finish it.
Since Catalina worked fine before, it might be something small causing the issue. Do the following: Try using a different name for the virtual machine, sometimes reusing the same name can cause issues. Check your storage-make sure the 70GB you've set aside for BigSur is fully available. , sometimes a small space issue can cause a hang-up. Reapply the patches, double-check you’re using the right patch commands for Intel and that they’re applied to the new VM properly. Make sure Hyper-V is still disabled-Windows sometimes re-enables it after updates, and that can cause issues with VirtualBox.
@@TechWise2022 Nope... got it working now but it was a different problem. You used virtbox 7.0.20 and i downloaded the newest 7.1 and couldnt get it installed. After 2 days stuggling i desided i would do exactly what you did with exactly the software you used. And with Virtbox 7.0.20 ( Just look for old versions ) i installed it in 1 go.

How do I change disc space on the virtual disc I made?

Works OK in VirtualBox 7.0.20, but VirtualBox 7.1.4 seems to have a bug that prevents saving settings with 3D Acceleration activated

Most likely you will have to use an office key, try to look for it on BNH software or another site so that you can get it without any problem.

These don't work, or well they can but it's a harder process, MacOS BigSur is the latest easy OS to install.

Parallels Desktop For Mac and Windows 11 for Arm. On an M1 Air base spec. MS office, browsers, video rendering type programs run incredibly well - better than my oldish desktop Intel i5 with AMD 480 for everything but games and 3d renderings.
