Your not wrong there it reminds me of a spitfire or mustang with a whining whistley supercharger type sound on top personally I'd rather hear this come whining as it swoops down on a gun run over an A10 brrrrrrttttt any day

mostly the prop with the tips nearing the speed of sound. Mike Patey's turbulence sounded just like that at over 370 knots

This plane is extremely noisy. It strongly impacts the hovered territories, 10 km around. It is a scourge for populations. Have a look to Google comments about base 709 in Cognac, and you will be edified.
