I love Paul's portrayal of Carson Teva. And the fact that he's a HUGE Star Wars fan makes it all the better. He's living our collective dreams and he's knocking it out of the park. I'd love to see them resurrect the Rangers of the New Republic series but with him as the lead.

I own the Luke version, but really like the Blue. There is one thing this helmet needs. Clear coat. 1 small can of a good automotive brand. Remove the shield, bottom rubber strip and tape it off. Super easy, super fast and the results are awesome. Watch Star Wars Ahsoka Episode 5 at 19:05 min. This is a good reference source.
I wholeheartedly agree with you, Tiger Claw. As awesome as this helmet is, the one small nitpick I have with it is that it has a slightly matte finish to it and insn't shiny enough. Right, Mike! He's such a great guy. I had never heard of him before, but quickly became a fan of his character, and later the actor when I saw what a down-to-Earth person he is and so entertaining. I'm glad they made his helmet!

It is a lovely helmet and I think that these pilot helmets have the best electronics of any of the Black Series helmets. I have all 4 variants now and they each have unique electronics packages.
Hey, Paul! It was soon after I commented on your video that Hasbro Pulse started shipping them. The other online retailers here in the states still say February. And I agree with you. These electronics are head and shoulders above the silly voice changers they put in the trooper helmets. And they have gotten really good at camouflaging the buttons, battery compartments and speakers on these. As you saw, this is my first Black Series X-Wing pilot helmet and I have to admit, I really like it! Thanks for stopping by and checking this one out with me!

Dude, it's helmets galore so far here in 2024! And you are right, this one is gorgeous. I'm at a point now, where I am having to pick and choose which helmets get displayed and which ones go back in the box and in the closet. And yes, that is the only other X-Wing helmet I have purchased, coincidentally because it was also a Carson Teva helmet from a Facebook seller, and it, as you remember, was garbage! So, it was customized into the Paul's Collectibles X-Wing Pilot helmet. And I agree, this one is gorgeous and I love the crispity cleanliness of it also!

Oh my god, Michael! You know me so well. I have been pouring over the Denuo Novo site for months, each time talking my self out of getting some of those X-Wing helmets they have from A New Hope. They are gorgeous. And every time I look through the Big Bad Toy Store site, I have to force myself not to get the Trapper Wolf helmet. I'm holding out strong, but I don't know for how long! haha!

I got it for very, very cheap at an outlet store ($30) so I'm not pressed on getting anything for it. I need to make some room for all of my SamoilovART helmets (you should really check those out too! Best clone helmet molds and paintjobs out there imo) so I'm trying to get rid of the ones I'm kind of "meh" about.
