RENACER / REBIRTH / 重生 ( Chóngshēng ) .

Lo más representativo del renacer está en la mitología del ave fénix, se recompone un nuevo ser de sus propias cenizas. Otro ejemplo previo a la trasformación del fénix es el proceso que realiza el salmón, remontando el río a contracorriente para asegurar su descendencia tras la puesta de huevos, en lugares cercanos a las fuentes donde el agua es más limpia y hay menos riesgo de predadores.
Este tema siempre ha estado presente en las diferentes corrientes antiguas para el conocimiento del Ser.
Dentro del Budismo hay una escuela que denota el renacer en la Tierra Pura con las prácticas de la sinceridad, la profundidad y el propósito de dedicar todos los méritos hacia este renacer.
En el Taoísmo se habla de retornar al estado de recién nacido, incubando con las prácticas respiratorias un nuevo ser que emergerá, purificado y unificado en el Espacio de la Fuerza.
En lo que concierne al Cristianismo está el conocidísimo diálogo entre Nicodemo y Jesús, el cual transfiero literalmente: " . . . el que no naciere de nuevo, no puede ver el reino de Dios. Nicodemo le dijo: ¿Cómo puede un hombre nacer siendo viejo? ¿Puede acaso entrar por segunda vez en el vientre de su madre, y nacer? Respondió Jesús: De cierto, de cierto te digo, que el que no naciere de agua y del Espíritu, no puede entrar en el reino de Dios. Lo que es nacido de la carne, carne es; y lo que es nacido del Espíritu, Espíritu es. No te maravilles de que te dije: Os es necesario nacer de nuevo. El viento sopla de donde quiere, y oyes su sonido; mas ni sabes de dónde viene, ni a dónde va; así es todo aquel que es nacido del Espíritu." Jn 3 : 3 - 8 .
También en la Alquimia lo describe cómo una de las primeras etapas del proceso, es el paso de Nigredo a Albedo.

In Taoism there is talk of returning to the newborn state, incubating with the breathing practices a new being that will emerge, purified and unified in the Space of Force.
As far as Christianity is concerned, there is the well-known dialogue between Nicodemus and Jesus, which I transfer literally: " ... unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to him, How can a man be born when he is old, and enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows from where it wants, and you hear its sound; but you do not know where it comes from, or where it is going; So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Jn 3:3-8.
Also in Alchemy he describes how one of the first stages of the process is the passage from Nigredo to Albedo.
