Hi Matt. Long-time viewer, first-time commenter. Your commentary in your videos is always thoughtful, informative and funny. However…. this video is more like when I go to my shop. I felt more included, like you were showing that you were one of us just doing stuff, and letting the work speak for itself. Thank you!
Seems from the comments I may be one of the only ones that miss the usual energetic banter and voice over talking when you cut stuff and explain things. You are often very animated and thats something ive always enjoyed in the videos. Never the less still a great video and future prospect batch of slabs
I don’t mind speechless vids, but even just the briefest of comments to tell us what kind of tree it was would be SOOO very much loved! Merry Christmas, Mr. Cremona. Well wishes to you and your family.
I’m having a mill owner make me two live edge walnut slabs for home loudspeakers. I knew absolutely nothing about this whole process. It amazes me. Throwing water on the slabs to show the grain is so cool! I am hooked!!!
Another beautiful log. It doesn't seem the same without your narration though, but I get it. You and your family have done so much this past year, so much to be proud of. Take some time for yourself and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Merry Christmas to you .
Another beautiful log cut to perfection. What a wonderful gift from our creator on His birthday. My you and your family have a Blessed Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
I think I like your videos with commentary better. Your upbeat personality makes me smile, and you always have interesting perspective. But, I will take what I can get. 😊
Here we have The Cremona back in its natural habitat of sawing really goofy logs. 🤣This log was so goofy it completely left The Cremona with no words. LOL. Great camera angles on this video. Merry Christmas to the Cremona clan.
One man's mold and rot are another man's treasure! It was great to watch an episode without any comments! Naaaah, just kidding I love your commentary. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Satisfying watching the setup and slicing slabs. I have always been impressed seeing you lay down a massive log on the frame bed and it never moves that I can see. Sometimes even with an abrupt drop. Cool. I am also impressed that your back has survived as well as it has!
I'm not usually a fan of no talk videos but this one was very relaxing. That last water toss could have used some commentary, one of your best. What an incredibly beautiful stack of slabs. Thanks.
Merry Christmas Matt and Cremona family. From narrative videos of cutting logs for making floors,. furniture, additions on your Home, to monster barn, great setup for your business and Beautiful furniture making. To the silent man that over sees his progression of hardwork for years, is You Matt enjoying the satisfaction of your life, the beauty of what you create and your amazing family. Thank you for many years of one of the best channels on You Tube. Looking forward to 2024. Loved this video. Beautiful Log cut up.
Hello Matt. I'm also a long-time viewer, and have always enjoyed your dialogue and infectious laugh, but this video is exactly what I needed and wanted. Quiet, mindfulness. Just doing the work. I hope you make more videos like this. The silence is golden.
Merry Christmas, Matt, and to your Beautiful Family. Another great video and that log was amazing, I really like what some would call defects. Enjoy your time off with family.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! This was an entertaining wait to see if it would leave you entirely speechless, or if a word or two would sneak through. I do love listening to you explain things as you work, but I found myself enjoying this more than I thought at first. I hope you all have an excellent holiday time and look forward to watching you continue your house in the coming year, with the treat of logs or other subject matter tossed in to keep things interesting!
Another great vid, Matt! Love the lack of narration too. I had been watching a few 'quiet' videos on Japanese plane making without narration just before yours, so I was loving the quiet time on my Christmas morning.
That log was enormous !! That'll make quite a few workbenches or something else. The wood had such a clean and nice grain,! Enjoyed this quiet time and your sharing it with us.
I prefer your excellent videos with the talking because we learn something (but I also really wanted to use a leaf-blower to clean up the work area 😄).
The slabs turned out great. I missed the commentary. I also thought it was too cold for water tossing but you nailed it. I'd of put that bystander to work. Have a wonderful Christmas season.
It was a nice change of pace having the video without comment. However, like others, I missed hearing the joy in your voice as you looked at the wood and your insights about the log itself and your rationale for how you were going about it. Still, very nice to see a sawyering video from you. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you and your wnderful family. By the way it took me a third of the way through to understand the title! Thank you many times over for the great viceos. I always look forward to Saturdays.
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope all can enjoy a calm and peaceful day today.
Nothing more peaceful and calm than a super comfy Matt video! Merry Christmas!

Worked great for a Christmas release. Perfect to watch while everyone is talking to relatives etc.
enjoy the holiday..................thanks for the ride...................
You're goofy laugh is half the reason I watch your stuff :)
Beautiful wood but not as much fun without your exuberance and excitement about the wood
I have watched so many videos. I heard Matt’s voice in my head critiquing each slab.
Thank you

You're not the only one. I missed the commentary in this one, too.
Sawmill ASMR for the holiday season. Nice job Matt.
Merry Christmas slab monsters!
Have a Blessed day everyone
So much better when you speak lol and teach people about the process. Anyway Merry Christmas
I don’t mind speechless vids, but even just the briefest of comments to tell us what kind of tree it was would be SOOO very much loved! Merry Christmas, Mr. Cremona. Well wishes to you and your family.
Merry Christmas Cremona Family!

Thank you for our Christmas present this year. It has been very therapeutic this morning.
Christmas morning starting off with a beautiful log slab vid🪵 thank you merry Christmas 🎄
Another beautiful log. It doesn't seem the same without your narration though, but I get it. You and your family have done so much this past year, so much to be proud of. Take some time for yourself and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Merry Christmas to you .
Right?? Where's the patented Cremona giggle??? Still great content, but my preference is with narration.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Cremona family. Thanks for including us in your lives and work.
We love you commentary
Another beautiful log cut to perfection. What a wonderful gift from our creator on His birthday. My you and your family have a Blessed Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
Hurray! A new log video for Christmas!
Wow. Nuff said. Best to you, Lindsay, and the kids.
Thanks for this one. Hope you take a break and enjoy the holidays with your family

Just thought I’d ‘log’ in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Speechless thing works for me. LOVE watching you make slabs. BEEN WATCHING FOREVER. Well done, Sir!
LOVE THE SHIRT !!
Letting the slabs speak for themselves, surreal as though it may have been. Merry Christmas.
Great work Merry Christmas 😊
Beautiful slabs! Merry Christmas!
Wishing you the best for 2024
Merry Christmas Matt to you and your adorable family! 🌲🎅☃️❄️
One man's mold and rot are another man's treasure! It was great to watch an episode without any comments! Naaaah, just kidding I love your commentary. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
WOW! Red and green buckets...how SEASONAL!!😂😂😂 Buon Natale, Matteo e Famiglia!!
Love the branding on the saw mill, and marekting of Matthew Brand. You have come a long way.
Big beautiful maple!
Happy Holidays to you and your Family Matt
May 2024 bring you continued prosperity
Thanks for sharing Merry Christmas Beautiful slabs
Merry Christmas Matt and family! cool log too!
Merry Christmas to you and your family
That’s an incredible log! Beautiful wood! That’s why I mill my own lumber and slabs, you never know what you might find in there.
Merry Christmas, Matt and your family! Thanks for the well choreographed video with that"humongous log" you sliced to slabs!
I almost felt like I did something wrong and you were giving me the silent treatment lol😂. Amazing log
😂😂
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to the whole Cremona family all the way from Zagreb, Croatia!
The shirt at the end was perfection. Thanks for a year of great videos. Happy holidays to you and your family.
Beautiful spalted Maple. Great slabs to work with.
Not fair Matt: Your commentary is fully half of the show. I missed it. Merry Christmas.
Satisfying watching the setup and slicing slabs.
I have always been impressed seeing you lay down a massive log on the frame bed and it never moves that I can see. Sometimes even with an abrupt drop. Cool.
I am also impressed that your back has survived as well as it has!
Keeping an Italian quiet is EXTREMELY difficult, but I guess it can be done. Merry Christmas
What beautiful slabs of wood Sir.
What a fine piece of wood. Thanks for taking us along
Merry Christmas!!! Can't wait to get milling with our baby mill....still wanna build yours....
WOW that is some gorgeous wood there! Cant wait to see what you create from this beautiful wood!
Ah don’t ya know Matt never builds anything from his slabs? He only cuts ‘em to sell and his full time gig is trim carpentry. 🤥😆
Matt, I enjoy seeing more furniture built by you than just watching logs being cut up, after about 3 slabs kind of gets boring.
I'm not usually a fan of no talk videos but this one was very relaxing. That last water toss could have used some commentary, one of your best. What an incredibly beautiful stack of slabs. Thanks.
I thought Charlie Chaplin was the king of the silent movies?
Merry Christman Matt. 🎄
Merry Christmas
Happy holidays, enjoy your not so quiet Time, you deserve it after all that beautiful trim carpentry work
Best Wishes for you and your family in the Holiday Season and the following year. Hope you get well soon.
Thank you for another great year of beautiful timber products. Wishing you and your family a successful year ahead.
Nice throw with the bucket of water.
Like the new stickers on the mill
Speechless-------A man true to his word, so to not-speak. Got to say, I miss hearing your take on the log.
Merry Christmas Matt and Cremona family. From narrative videos of cutting logs for making floors,. furniture, additions on your Home, to monster barn, great setup for your business and Beautiful furniture making. so Soothing to watch these U Tubes. Would love to see some tables and finished products made out of these slabs .
Matt has mastered the long slab bucket throw. Nice
Hello Matt. I'm also a long-time viewer, and have always enjoyed your dialogue and infectious laugh, but this video is exactly what I needed and wanted. Quiet, mindfulness. Just doing the work. I hope you make more videos like this. The silence is golden.
Great Vid! Weird without narration. Hope you had a great Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Gotta say….its just not the same without your commentary sprinkled with that classic Matt humor.
Thanks Matt

Matthew, I wish you Merry Xmas and Happy New Year from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. All the best in 2024!
Merry Christmas, Matt, and to your Beautiful Family. Another great video and that log was amazing, I really like what some would call defects. Enjoy your time off with family.
Marry Christmas to you Mathew and family
So, Technicolor extravaganza with dramatic slashes of bark inclusion--very cinematic. Glad you found the time to indulge yourself--and us.
BEST LOG MILLING VIDEO EVER
thanks Matt
Matt, I realize that it doesn't have enough figure for your taste, but that is some beautiful maple.
Merry Christmas Matt - that was an amazing log, as is your weather…
Have a Happy New Years and catch you in 2024
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Merry Christmas Matt and family! Thanks for sharing your journey.
Merry Christmas to you and the family. First vid I've seen with the graphics on the slab master. Looks great.
That log was enormous !! That'll make quite a few workbenches or something else. The wood had such a clean and nice grain,! Enjoyed this quiet time and your sharing it with us.
Assuming it’s Maple ! Either that’s some of my favorite tight grain beautiful pinking heart great stuff !
Loved it, but I really enjoy your commentary. Happy new year! Loved your new closing….
A whole slabbing video with no mention of crotch… never thought I’d see that happen! Merry Christmas.
Speechless. funny.
Your small reaction at 14:00 was funny
extra dude shows at 22:10 but continues the "speechless"
I prefer your excellent videos with the talking because we learn something (but I also really wanted to use a leaf-blower to clean up the work area 😄).
Very nice!
