How many leaders are we getting, cause i know we are getting 30-31 civs at launch, but how many leaders, since the number will probably be lower, probably around 15-20, and we already have 13 confirmed leaders (i wonder if we will have someone from the 20th cent., i highly doubt it considering how Firaxis is nowadays, but i will wait for the Modern Age to confirm).
I'm curious why there are modern looking hot air balloons thought the French were the first to fly them and a little later than what would be exploration age.
probably when the era ends it shows off parts of the painting and they did exist near the end of the exploration era. When they showed the end of antiquity it had parts of the painting playing for the greek empire.
True but: A) It's a stunning painting regardless B) They confirmed in today's stream that these paintings are used for the video leading into the next era, so these hot air balloons are almost certainly to do with transitioning into the Modern Era
do not worry, is a perfectly normal situation on the game play, if we play the cards right, you could be it had modern technology in a renacient era or more early!
but you can, what you cannot do now is playing as Spain in the antiquity era, but when there is an era change, you don't have to change your civ I think, you can play with Rome in the modern era
@@karlinx No, changing civs in age transition is mandatory. The only way you'll be able to play as Spain in the modern era is if they add a separate Spain for the modern age - that's what China and India already have
@ImperialDiplomat Habsburgs came to the Spanish throne after the discovery and conquest of America, so that would be kinda odd. Maybe the Exploration age Spain could be renamed to Castile and in Modern age it would be just Spain.

There needs to be more of a flamenco rhythm I think. The explorers of Spain set sail from Seville the home of amazing flamenco music. This is orchestrated a little much. Still excited to see what is to come.
@@wesleyroney7062 This is Renaissance Spanish styled music, it's well done and suits Spain well as it sounds pretty much like the age they're portraying. Flamenco is much more recent, as it was developed through the late Baroque era.

Wow, I love the music style of Civ 7
I'm still sad there won't be any progression though. I loved Civ 6 style of going from Ancient to Atomic ages.

@@RaPhoneixI just know I’ll be picking the civ with my favorite theme everytime haha.
I'm glad to see that Spain got a more happy and lively theme this time, the spanish theme in Civ 6 sounded so dark and depressing.
Well, at least they didn't use Triste españa sin ventura or Todos los bienes del mundo as theme. 😂
Roland, you have done it again! Such a lovely piece of music.
I really love the vibe of this music
YES!!!!!! The music team really did their research.
This is one of my favorites already
Awesome! Sounds like medieval spain, I hope to see contemporanean spain too in civ 7
