It sucks that this game flopped and was so bad, because it's the only shooter game I've ever personally seen that attempts to cover the Warsaw Uprising and Polish Home Army. It's one of the most interesting resistance stories of WW2 that's almost never covered in popular media in the west.
The story of this game is pretty tragic. It was announced back in 2011 by Stuart Black, the creator of the cult classic FPS, Black, working with City Interactive to create a "WWII version of Black." (Seems he can't catch a break since EA canceled Black 2 and his next game Bodycount was a failure.) It was scheduled to be released sometime in late 2012, but later that year, Stuart Black was removed from the studio during the game's development due to CI's rebranding and creative differences, and the game was pushed back for a release date set for 2013. But with Stuart Black no longer involved, development on the game went nowhere and it got stuck in a cycle and as a result, many planned features were cut (these included a level set during the Evacuation of Dunkirk, a Lancaster SMG, and an interesting health system, with the option of regenerating like modern shooters or health pickups placed in the levels, like the old Medal of Honor games) and the game was delayed multiple times again. Eventually it was given a final release date of June 2014 and unsurprisingly, just like Bodycount, it ended up reviewing poorly and was a commercial failure.
4:10 by the way, that happens A LOT in bethesda games, so by alt tabbing and selecting the task manager you can still use it, use the alt tab view to select the game and just press 'delete' on your keyboard, it sucks having to do this but it might be better than fully restarting your pc
If your game crasdhes like you described on 4:00 press Windows + tab. You will be able to either close the application or create new descktop instance, that won't have any of the running windows.
Still vividly recall the games loading screens, whoever worked on those deserves a raise. Also dropped weapons had a nasty tendency to disappear super fast, I remember having to edit some config files so I wasn't strapped for ammo all the damn time.
I absolutely LOVED this game when it came out so many years ago. I remember seeing a billboard for it. Also the multiplayer was extremely fun and was probably the best part of the game.
3:33 this is random, but a lot of video games feature rooms which are on fire, but the fire never spreads because that would involve extra time spent on something which the player only is meant to experience for maybe a minute. I wonder how many real scenarios people have found themselves in which has fire spreading at a rate they never would have predicted based on their experiences in video games
Congrats on 200K and it's pretty bad, but it does have some genuinely fun and cool sections, the environments are great as well. Also, what you should try when the task manager gets stuck behind the game is mouse over task manager, click it or alt tab to ensure you're in it, hover back over it so you can see it in the small preview, only if you can, other wise it doesn't matter, then use your arrow keys to go to the game, and press tab until you get onto end task, hit enter, or sometimes it seems to switch to space. It should then close.
I just want you to know I really appreciate you your videos are highly entertaining. And because of you I learned about games I never would have known about like call of Juarez gunslinger, which is one of the best first person shooters I've played in recent memory.
When I played the game few yeares ago my character literally dropped his arms on the ground. They were working, They reacted when you shot, They even reloaded. Only thing is They were on the ground
You can move the task manager to 2nd screen using alt+right. (If your 2nd screen is on the right) if you didnt have a second screen, then youre screwed 3:45
7:51 reminds of the scene from police squad where Leslie Nelson and the bad guy are shooting at each other and there's just like a trash can between them
How crazy it is Jarek! I started playing airsoft because of your airsoft videos and today I played again after 3 years. What a coincidence you release a video today as well!📹🤔😁
Tbh, before I started watching your videos. I really didn't care about FOV..... then I started paying attention to what you were talking about.. and well now.. I'm 100% with you on the FOV sliders! I was limiting myself for so many years for NO reason! Thank you Sensei 🙏
If you ever have a game crash like that and task manager gets stuck behind the game, you can alt tab to task manager and use arrow keys to move down to the application and hit delete on your keyboard
Well city interactive games are always a treat when you analyze them. That is another positive. Also that AI interaction at about 07:45 is some naked gun stuff. Marvelous!
Kindly do keep swatting away people who complain when you bring up the FOV slider. Thank you. Also, at 4:10 did you try a new desktop on windows...as in, Winkey + Ctrl + D...then Winkey + Ctrl + Right Arrow..then opening the task manager there
Heya. I've played a lot of buggy games and the task manager thing has come up before for me. I found that if you alt-tab to it, you can still use the keyboard to select the game and close it from there, even if you can't click on it due to it being behind the game. The downside is you have to memorize where the game name is on the task manager list while you alt tab in order to know how many times you need to press the arrow keys to highlight the game before hitting delete to close it. It gets easier with practice. Hope this helps!
30 and 60 fps are fine for me as ive kinda topped at games after 2016 there really hasn't been anything ive been interested in since then much like movies. Good thing is my tech is super cheap now

What makes this scene 6:56 even more hilarious is that he yells "aufstehen" which means "stand up/get up".
When I played the game few yeares ago my character literally dropped his arms on the ground. They were working, They reacted when you shot, They even reloaded. Only thing is They were on the ground
This is comedy gold thankyou Jarek for the video!
You can move the task manager to 2nd screen using alt+right. (If your 2nd screen is on the right) if you didnt have a second screen, then youre screwed 3:45
These videos always make my days off a little more entertaining. Thanks!
7:51 reminds of the scene from police squad where Leslie Nelson and the bad guy are shooting at each other and there's just like a trash can between them

How crazy it is Jarek! I started playing airsoft because of your airsoft videos and today I played again after 3 years. What a coincidence you release a video today as well!📹🤔😁
A short cut to switch programs between monitors is Win Key+shift+ arrow key of direction you want to send it
Gratz for the 200k. 500k incoming!
200k! Well done! :D
Tbh, before I started watching your videos. I really didn't care about FOV..... then I started paying attention to what you were talking about.. and well now.. I'm 100% with you on the FOV sliders! I was limiting myself for so many years for NO reason! Thank you Sensei 🙏
The hostage glitch at 9:39 looks like the scene from blazing saddles
I remember seeing a bunch of ads for this game in Game Informer magazines back when I used to read that magazine
Marvelous!
Another great vid again. You’re a trooper for playing through this garb again lol
Dude I also had that crash once with this game, had to restart my PC as well.
This also happened with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts
Found your channel a few days ago. Amazing quality content, I'm going back through your entire library. Here's to you getting a million subscribers 👍
