    Hi Joe! Thank you for this video. I ordered some anubias for my Betta tanks and the seller included some free clippings of these!
    They're currently not doing so hot toward the bottom, but I'll look into a better substrate (the roots are in gravel, currently 😕😔).
    They're getting leggy and many lower leaves are turning brown and I keep trimming those off.
    What kind of fertilizer would you recommend?
    Thanks so, so much!

    Mine are definitely not runners. They are grow new stems. Its the same as the tropica video on youtube. Could there be two types, am so confused

    Hi joe, my 2 mth old tank with rotala rotundifila green, new sprung looks good, but old leaves started turning black. Any particular reasons why?

    Does it grow via runners? Or do I have to replant trimmings?

      D Leal Rotala is a stem plant! You need to replant trimmings for propagation! It will also sprout new shoots from existing nodes! To get a fuller bushy look! Thanks for watching !

      @@freshwaterjoe what substrate is best for it, gravel or sand??

      @freshwaterjoe 4 года назад

      Guppy frenzy I would use a nutrient rich plant substrate for example, eco complete by carbi sea, fluval stratum is great, or the onyx sand from seachem!

      Your goldfish will likely eat your plants! Try plants like java fern and Anubis!
