But she talked about many other things in the interview as well not related to that certain event, but as the media does, they gravitated towards the more 'salacious' topic for headlines. But as someone who works in media, I would assume you understand that.
She's literally spilling all the tea in a book for financial gain. She has no problem airing out all her dirty laundry to make a few bucks. Despite the fact she's already a millionaire and filthy rich.

The memoir is focused on HER life and experiences, including her upbringing, career in Hollywood, mental health, friendships, and of course her marriage but not nearly as much as people who didn't read the book the would think. She had every right to speak and write about the status of their relationship or that certain event because they involved her and being disrespectful to her on Will's behalf is insane.

Their roots are deeply Hip Hop. They paid all their dues during the late 70s/early 80’s before they got put on. And you had to know how to DJ and EMCEE to get put on back then. I was there. Seen it all. Them Boys are Hip Hop through and through. Dj’d and EMCEED at a ridiculous amount of hood house parties and iconic Hip Hop clubs (Paladium, Roof Top…) and toured with the greats, from Doug E Fresh to, KRS 1, to Rakim, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Luke and the 2 Live Crew…. Not a viewpoint, all facts. That’s where they came from in Hip Hop. Rock The House album was there first and definitely not Pop. They didn’t perform or grow up no where near pop when they came out. The pop industry wasn’t even messing with Hip Hop like that back then.
I'll never see him the same again because of his life choices but I'm glad that he went out and had a great time, I'm sure it must have been therapeutic.
And how will he be relatable today? Unless he’s coming with those bar-b-que at the family reunion anthems like ’summer time’, I don’t see it. His music will definitely be for the sheltered and seasoned senior audience.
