Those wheat cereals are yum, I noticed Asda today were selling theirs for £1.75 in 3 different flavours. Sadly I'm one of the ones who buys the nesquik milkshakes, it's a big container, sadly I don't have loads of money, I do however have an autistic son, who doesn't have a great diet, really fussy but really enjoys milkshakes. I've gone through so many cheaper versions and he won't drink them. He don't eat any meat or anything and his doctor said as long as he's having milk then he's getting his protein. One lasts a fair while still, it just means I cut back on other things that aren't really necessary like cut back on treats on the shop I need to replace the milkshake powder.
It's tricky isn't it when they don't eat much of a variety, so of course we buy what they will eat 🧡 even if it's expensive! That's why I buy those Bear YoYos, Lily just will not eat the cheaper Aldi ones! I actually need to buy another thing of the Banana Nesquik for my middle child, as he has gone off the chocolate one xx
I do buy the nesquick one because my kids like it... I am not rich but choose that because I can skip on a botttle of wine for a week and that will last them a month. Sometimes I have to choose but I will def get that and see what they think ) xx
It used to be like £2 or £3 didn't it!? It's insane how much it's gone up by! It's a shame Lidl don't do different flavours because my son has gone off the chocolate and likes banana Nesquik - but the last time I bought the tub I currently have, it was £4, so it was a while ago! Totally fair enough that you buy it for your children (I wasn't seriously judging anyone that does, but charging over £6 is criminal!) Xx
Great haul ! I really need to shop my main shops in Lidl !!! Omg £6 for milkshake 😮 would never pay that !!! Zac will have the best time ! Freddie loved it !! I did miss him though but they always sent photos of what they were doing xxx❤
The butterflies in the beginning made you look like you were one of the Disney Princesses going grocery shopping and a modern store and I hope Zack has a wonderful time on his trip
Honeybee i use a water purifier filter jug for drinking water stores in fridge door and tastes as good as bottled without the expense . Also the kiddos should drink tap water as there is flouride added and this helps protect their teeth .... thats how it is here but u would need to do the research as i might be dreaming this lol.
Just a heads up as you said you’re having a lot of salads, there’s been an ecoli outbreak apparently according to sky news, so just remember to wash your salad really well. (Not sure what food product is causing it as it didn’t say but obviously salad isn’t cooked so be extra careful) xx
Thank you so much 💓 My aim is to get the shopping for under a £100 each week - some weeks I'm successful, some I'm not 🙈 For lunch atm I'm tending to have either fruit or cereal/granola for my lunch when I get home from work before I pick the kids up from school. I'm also trying to lose some weight too! Xx
He came back home today! First couple of days were OK, but bythe third night, we were both like 'this is a really long time!' He had a fun time, though, and is totally exhausted! Xx
