You guys... This one was a tough one to edit but not for the reason you may think... There was simply SO MUCH great content to choose from. From the heartfelt speeches from the fathers and the bridal party (so many mentions of slim jims...😂) to the meaningful ceremony service, the personal vows, and all of the special moments and beautiful details - it was just so jam packed full of care and love and perfect in every way.
These two (and Lauren's mom!) re-planned this entire celebration in just a few short days notice when their original venue was impacted by wildfires. And in the midst of what could be so very stressful, they chose to continuously pray for those impacted by the fires, to focus on the gratitude they had for their loved ones who jumped in to help, and ultimately, in a weird way - I think their day was made even better by the change of plans.
We were truly honored to be trusted with this story. We had the absolute joy of filming Lauren's sister McKenzie's wedding years ago and loved getting to see the Penningtons again with their sweet new additions. There is no bigger compliment than getting asked back again and again to share in a family's biggest moments. ❤ Congratulations Hunter and Lauren! Here's to forever!
