- Today's video is my weekly Trader Joe's taste test of all the new items in April 2024. We are tasting 4 new items including the lemon flower cookies, organic garlic bread, sonora style flour tortillas and the potato salad. I'm w/Brent on the store bought potato salads. I do not like vinegar in potato/macaroni salads. All premade has it. I also think it could be the mayo used.

Yay to Brent! So glad Brent picked up the cinnamon graham "crackers" as they have been a favorite TJ's item for me since they first came out and every time I shop I dread they may be taken off the shelf and vanish. The reason I put cracker in quotes is because these grahams are more like cookie wafers and the sprinklings on top are not just sugar, but cinnamon-which I love. I get a container everytime! Love them!

You are so right about store bought potato salad, that strange after taste. But I'll try the lemon cookies.
That potato salad would be good to grab for a picnic or a tailgate.

Golden Grahams is the cereal 👌 😋 and it was a staple for my childhood. I love when Bret picks a mystery item its always so fun to see what he finds in TJ's
I didn’t like the lemon cookie sample I tried in the store. They also had samples of the raspberry jelly center ones and those were really good.
The Old Fashioned potato salad is delicious! Very low on the mayo and has green onions. I love it!

I'll try the potato salad, which I haven't seen before. Here in Washington Syate we've had another kind for years, in a rectangular box. Its good with a few additions, garlic powder and pepper and a little extra mayonnaise.
We on the west coast have always had the potato salad packaged differently in a plastic rectangular container. We don't like it at all! It has an odd taste.

I had read that on a message board too, but I can’t find anything about it on the TJ’s website. They were giving out samples of it as recently as Thursday in the Chicago area. Maybe it was a single location that experienced the recall or something?
Naw, they would've pulled them from all shelves and not rush lawsuits up the wazoo
