      +Blue Lightning TV, every time I merge the background layer and the 3d text, the text gets sent behind the background image? I am following your directions completely...any idea as to what is going on?

      ever figure this out?

    • @yaboimalli8705
      @yaboimalli8705 9 лет назад +2

      +Mathew Morash I had this problem as well, I just found a fix by playing around with it for 10 minutes.
      1. select first Layer
      2. Select stone wall whilst holding shift
      3. while you are still holding the shift key press 3d and click merge 3d layers.
      now my image is on top, just have to hold shift while pressing merge and it worked for me.

    Marty, when following along step by step using Photoshop CS6 on a mac, my "Layer 1" (at 6:43) first ends up super small and when I go to 3D - Merge 3D Layers, the "Layer 1" and the "Stone Wall" layer, the logo completely disappears. I have restarted 4 times to no avail. My version also doesn't allow you to reduce the extrusion to 2 inches. My default was 256? I'm guessing that number is pixels, so I reduced it down to 112. Please help.

So when I swap the views my logo is behind the Stone wall ! However I have CS6 extended and I don't know what to do !

    Great tutorial guys! You mentioned that we can adjust the extrusion depth later on... but I only see my Coordinates properties when I click on the extrusion layer and enable my mesh button. I see all my Material properties with "show all scenes" button pressed. But with the "show all 3D Mesh and 3D extrusions" button I ONLY have the coordinates available to me. Can I get my extrusion control back???
