My mom made crab apple jelly once when I was pretty young. We moved and a neighbor mentioned there were crab apples in the woods. As I was 7 years old I bragged about how amazing her crab apple jelly was. So with a neighbors dad and kids we went into the woods to collect tons of crab apples. I don’t think my mom wanted to deal with a bushel of crab apples but she did make the jelly. I still love crab apple trees!
That tree is so pretty! I have a dwarf peach tree that is blooming pink blossoms right now. Each bloom will bud into a peach soon, which will be ready around the beginning of August. Its shape is nothing compared to that crab apple tree though.

I have a crab tree but 🤷♀️ what breed it is … I’m in new Hampshire so it gets brutally cold in the dead of winter but this crab tree blossoms every year and the colors are BEAUTIFUL

We had a crabapple in our yard since 1989, but had to take ours down last year, didn't bloom anymore.
