    In ISO4210 the horizontal front load is described with a mass that is falling from a specific height on the front axle of the bicycle but not as a force. How did you come up with the 2x1000N of force acting on the axle?

    Is it possible to consider 1) a composite frame, with a discrete ply/laminate definition (based on classical laminate theory), and 2) transient impact analysis based on an initial velocity (such as the ISO4210 physical test definition)?

    If I put two cilindrical constraints at the rear of the chain stay and a vertical support on the front tube, and apply a vertical downward force at the sit, should I expect the front tube to displace away from the sit or to come closer?
    My geometry is very similar to yours, a classical safety diamond shaped frame

    Why do you use a 3d mesh instead of a 2d with less elements?

      You could but we only offer 3D elements at the moment. We already saved some time by using half the model though as you have seen :)

    @26.29 with the lower position Seat stay - you can see more stress in the Seat tube
    compared to traditional design high mounted seat stay connected at seal collar .
    i think the newer Design is Retarded and just MARKETING BS to sell more bikes to the MINIONS !!!!!!!!!!!
    No Added Beneft + a HARSHER RIDE !!!!!!!!!!! Since the SEAT STAYS are SHORTER
