Original parts, but with plenty of upgrades. The basic car is too dated for modern desert driving in my view.
love the idea. but i think you should try to get it to it’s original shape as much as possible, at least the exterior
Really not too bothered about originality, it's going to be a desert car - so it needs to stand out!
I'll add - plenty of original cars out there. This is going to be very...different!

The performance mod IS fixing the engine! LOL. Plus a few sneaky things here and there....wait and see, all will be revealed.
Where are you going to rebuild the engine? I have a 100 series that could need some work.
