First off it sounds great and I think this is a great example of how a Strat sounds in the best possible context.
Secondly this is how a demo should be done. Hope you get some traction! Good luck

the take with Golden B channel at 13:42 that was the 'bomb' right there - not too much high nor low end, no sharpness or flubbiness. Just right! Nice tones all around, my man. Well done~~~~~

Hi, really nice playing and explanation. I got 2 questions#. When you are using your Suhr load box and your fractal cab sim do you use headphones or studio monitor cabs ? I am on the search for good sounding cab because the last Yamaha Hs8 monitors sounded tinny. Or is PA box sounding better and more huge ? And what is the reason why you are now playing the Kool 68 clone instead of the Kool Marvell with its 2 Channels. Didn‘t you like the attenuator or is there a big sound difference ? Greetings from Germany

Hi Fred ! Thanks for watching and your comments ! I am loading the Ownhammer Speaker IR in my Fractal and use mainly my Eve Audio SC305 studio monitors to shape my sound .! Sometimes the Beyerdynamic DT series headphone. I used to have the Yamaha HS8 : too much low end and I did not find the sound very ‘neutral’ and that’s why I switched to Eve Audio. I found then better than Adams studio monitors after comparing their sound.as for the Kool amps : I really loved the Marvell and the attenuator is KILLER and so do both channels . My reason to switch was the idea that an Amp with as little as possible knobs , channels, FX loop and attenuators and other options would give me ‘and more direct sound’ . And I really loved the idea of the old Marshall amps of doing everything with the Guitar Volume knob from Cleans to Overdrive instead of pushing the footswitch. Now the transition from Cleans to Crunch is very fluid by just hitting the strings harder and raising the volume knob on my guitar. And I did not use the Attenuator anymore after doing the volume difference between rhythm and lead in the Fractal Audio . Thanks mate !

What size strings do you use? I’m guessing 10’s

I am using elixir 0.11-0.49 on all my guitars……. I can use these string for 10 months or so without breaking them or getting dull sounding ;)

@@Anandmahangoe I have 9’s on my Strat now and it sounds “tinny” and has no soul. I may try 11’s just to see if they can beef it up. I’ll check out those strings too. Thanks

@@AdamWellsMusic that will definitely help and also try rolling off the Tone knob for the bridge pickup towards ‘5’……..hopefully the bridge tone knob is not wired also to the middle pickup…..:(

@@Anandmahangoe they are wired together but that’s a mod I’m considering. I wired my telecaster where the tone works only on the bridge. This is useful and I’d suggest it as the neck is already a bit dark and rolling off the bridge tames those ice pick highs. I’ll be making a demo video soon. Hope you’re well and take care!

@@AdamWellsMusic exactly Adam ! The tone and volume knobs on our guitars give us already so many tonal options and rolling off the tone on the bridge is usually the solution ;) Let me know when you have your video online , thanks mate ! Take care !
