HANDHELD OR GIMBAL!?!? 👇🏼📸 Check out the new Zhiyun Weebill 3 here - ruclips.net/user/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqblJUVzl2S0FZeGw5SDlENWdybWFqaGt6NmpNZ3xBQ3Jtc0ttbFVQNjhycXQ3cDlJR3JEblpHZVpmOUU5X0kyckNpclNxMkxyeWxxaW8tUThpUExjSmFRMjhPeXlvT0xZYmVvVUNOeG1UY1h5WmM0THdfUTRlRFZLQ0VISXdHZWVjZjBab2IwQkh5ZkhVaEstX21VNA&q=https%3A%2F%2Fgeni.us%2Fwb3_amz_yt52&v=Uk7pM9RoUko
Loved both videos! I filmed my first wedding handheld, it was a challenge but I just say having my Weebill 2 I do prefer shooting with it. However there are situations where shooting handheld is a must
Very interesting . I shot mostly handheld for 10 years now or at least with minimal extra light shoulder aid. You sometimes indeed have to do some more takes but it gives a lot of liberty and it makes you think out of the box. In this case you can see that the gimball aimed you to shoot in a certain way and it takes some time to fully master this kind of gear and expand beyond your first impressions on how to use it. Besides hanheld is not really a problem for shorts shots like it was edited. It also suit the running theme pretty well. Thanks a lot for the ride
Yeah the only thing I would say is that he had more variation with the shots so it made it more engaging. He had close ups of his eyes and his watch, whereas everything she did was far out and less intimate. That’s what separates the guys in the big leagues.
focusing on the jogging subject, Kyle def won; with the motions and intent on camera shake, just awesome to watch. Ally shots are beautiful but clearly the focus seems to me to be the apple headphone in action, her footage will make a fantastic Apple commercial for sure.
I prefer Ally’s one more than Kyle’s one bcoz his one kinda looks a lil bit rough (in some parts) tho the splashing water thingie was so cool 👏 Where in the other hand Ally’s one looks really really really smooth! But both of the videos turned out awesome 🤩 🫶🏻
I definately prefer Ally's. It dynamic, spontaneous, explosive, in sync with audio. It is a joy to watch her almost free-spirited edit. I feel that Kyle's is more studied. The individual segments are a little too long and sometimes draggy. I think I can sum it up as a clip by someone who is talented (Ally) versus someone who works hard (Kyle).
That would be kind of weird… a ton of beginners start with premiere and a ton of industry professionals use final cut. That would be like saying beginner uses a sony fx6 vs a pro using a canon c300. Same tier but one person is only at a disadvantage
Best in this whole video is ... "U both are amazing together" 🙈😘😘😘.... Now coming on the video... Both the tries are amazing that too in 30 minutes .. hats off bro .... The one Allie took is quite smooth .. and the one Kyle took .. I love the transition between the videos and the way it's edited all together... Loved the concept... Would love to see u both in these kind of videos again n again.... Love ya both 😘😘 .. love from India ... 😘😘
Great video, thanks! I learned from this. I realise that the handheld video was 'better', but i do feel that the gimball version might be better for a corporate video and the hendheld better for tense action/drama film scenes. Just a note - my wife, as a non-filmaker much prefers the gimball version because, i quote her; 'I can see what i'm looking at'. She goes on 'the handheld one is like too hectic and all over the place and i can't see anything'. This comment makes me laugh a bit but I do note her observation with importance. Handheld is always intentional. You do it for a reason. For specific scenes, for a more immersive, organic feel to the filming, but only when needed, such as certain follow shots and anything tense. For customers of a product, if the video you both made were for a product, perhaps the gimball version is better. More people can 'See it' ))).
Kyle's had much better editing. The angles were more creative. I think it was less a competition between the equipment and more of the years of experience difference.
Sorry kyle, i have to go with Ally this time......Ally's beats and the video was in sync and was just LIT and the video too felt smooth with a gimmble. But you are a legend.🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️
Sinceramente me gustó más la composición y fotografía de Kyle, pero también tuvo un resultado final por lo mismo que puso ''sound off''. Ese efecto ayuda mucho en las transiciones de un clip a otro.
Really awesome your editing Kyle 👏 I am a sony FX6 shooter but the most important is not the cam, but the one who stands behind the camera 😂 best cinematic greetings from germany #filmmakingismypassion
Great effort on both the videos ... Im super new to the world of making videos so its great seeing these videos and learning and getting ideas... just some feedback ... the videos look like they are for the apple air pods max ... s if they are apart of this runners lifestyle
They both were very good because for Kyle’s was like a high quality commercial for a certain product while his girlfriend’s was somewhat as a short cinematic commercial for a new movie
Both are great, but the scenes with the gimbal bring more professionalism to the video, they could be Kyle's scenes with the gimbal and it would be perfect
i agree with this comment, the editing is also drastically different between the 2 and i think the results were loosely based off of the that and creative direction vs the quality of the shots between both
Can you make a video about shooting outside around noon, worse part of the day. How to adjust your camera while extremem sunlight. Then cloudy, than bright again. Thank you.

Love you bro
I like gimbal
this is really fun to watch too! the angle and the shooting plan matters. the experience helps!
ruclips.net/video/PcvzBC4bMwQ/видео.html
Both sets of footage were very good. Both of you worked with the strengths of what was available, resulting in two videos of different styles.
Definitely wanna see more competition between you guys ❤️
I feel a friendly competition can give a lot of opportunity to learn and experiment
yeah
ruclips.net/channel/UCxx07pbP5rCyEfMjXACMaFA
The creativity of the shots is more impressive than the equipment!
Kyle's cuts told a story. Thank you for doing this, I actually learned so much from it.
Both are amazing. I feel that the dramatism that gives me the movement of Kyle's video is better in this specific case. Amazing job!
Loved both videos! I filmed my first wedding handheld, it was a challenge but I just say having my Weebill 2 I do prefer shooting with it. However there are situations where shooting handheld is a must
Both were good however I preferred Kyle's because it had a more realistic feel to it
This guy exudes such a positive energy that he tend to left everyone's spirit ❣️

Thanks a lot for the ride
I feel they were both equal good videos. Kyle’s video looks like it took more effort.
I thought Kyle's video was more like a movie and hers was more like a commercial, so I do think they're both really good
Yeah the only thing I would say is that he had more variation with the shots so it made it more engaging. He had close ups of his eyes and his watch, whereas everything she did was far out and less intimate. That’s what separates the guys in the big leagues.
Right - I don't think one was better than the other - very similar in style and quality
Excellent Kyle 💯 even without gimbal he uses is sense of humour to and matches the best with the clips so well 👍🏻
BOTH WERE GREAT ! and you both have a great together filming relationship... me and my GF go out photographing and filming as well.. its awesome
Kyle's had more of a story feel, with start and finish elements. I think that was the main reason it was stronger
I see you're using Niklas Christl's Text pack , Fire Video
Wow I love the closeup shot on the eyes and the water splash one too! Kyle's video but both looked really good
I like Ally's one becoz it actually goes with this scenario tho Kyle took some awesome shots
focusing on the jogging subject, Kyle def won; with the motions and intent on camera shake, just awesome to watch. Ally shots are beautiful but clearly the focus seems to me to be the apple headphone in action, her footage will make a fantastic Apple commercial for sure.
Both are amazing. But I prefer first one.I hope next videos like this.
I prefer Ally’s one more than Kyle’s one bcoz his
one kinda looks a lil bit rough (in some parts) tho the splashing water thingie was so cool 👏
Where in the other hand Ally’s one looks really really really smooth!
But both of the videos turned out awesome 🤩 🫶🏻
I am here for videography, why this oppression for the singles😢😢😂😂
Both sets of footage were amazing 😍
I definately prefer Ally's. It dynamic, spontaneous, explosive, in sync with audio. It is a joy to watch her almost free-spirited edit. I feel that Kyle's is more studied. Both Videos are outstanding.... Would Definitely love to see more content like these
Ally's was very good, but the transitions Kyle did were insane. A bit of shakiness for this type of video is fine imo as well.
This was awesome! I would love to see you guys Edit a video against each other. Beginner in Premiere Pro vs Pro in Final Cut or even Imovie
That would be kind of weird… a ton of beginners start with premiere and a ton of industry professionals use final cut. That would be like saying beginner uses a sony fx6 vs a pro using a canon c300. Same tier but one person is only at a disadvantage

Both were great in there own way., but Kyle‘s video did have more technical aspects.
Uaah!🔥 BRO you won! Perfect editing!
The Beginner video had more power of it, whereas the Expert video put video style above what was actually being filmed.
This is super cool 😊❤️ I learn allot from the both videos ❤️✅✌️
I think handheld fits more like a movie whereas a gimbal is more like an advertisement
Healthy competition ❤️ Both are equally good ❤️
Great video, thanks! I learned from this. I realise that the handheld video was 'better', but i do feel that the gimball version might be better for a corporate video and the hendheld better for tense action/drama film scenes. Pretty sure the "years of experience difference" is the entire point of Pro VS Noob videos.
I seriously want this kinda videos more..!!
I love this kind of content.
Coming soon 2 millions ❤️
Kyles was definitely more shaky but the technique is definitely better. Both are really cool
I always like this couple they are always give inspiration
Sorry kyle, i have to go with Ally this time......Ally's beats and the video was in sync and was just LIT and the video too felt smooth with a gimmble. But you are a legend.🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️
Great videos by both of you! One question though... Where is "Allie's" info?
Unbelievable...Great job
you two did a good job

Very fun video to watch! Thank you for making!
Yes a new video!
*GIMBAL* is perfect, get smooth cinematic quality like you said..
The winner is. ..Gimbal girl
wow, still dreaming the canon camera 😍. Great job 👍
Great video guys!
fantastic...liked the way you approached...
Great effort on both the videos ... Im super new to the world of making videos so its great seeing these videos and learning and getting ideas... just some feedback ... the videos look like they are for the apple air pods max ... s if they are apart of this runners lifestyle
Both are very nice videos, gracias guys.
Beautifully done!!!
Great video!
She nailed it 🫡
Sunset photo shoot competition!
thank for your lesson and tutorial Kyle
Very cool, very pro. Greetings from Indonesia
Both of you guys are good
The first one shot with the gimbal was much better.
Both were powerful!
When i say 3,2,1 i want you to do as i say: widen your legs!
LOL Someone make a meme out of this pls.
Hand held for sure !
Transistion and splash on water gave it a charm
They both were very good because for Kyle’s was like a high quality commercial for a certain product while his girlfriend’s was somewhat as a short cinematic commercial for a new movie

keep going i encourage you
Great results!
Dream couple as videographer
more comps! I like you both :)
Can you make a video about shooting outside around noon, worse part of the day. How to adjust your camera while extremem sunlight. Then cloudy, than bright again. Thank you.
Magnifique 😱♥️♥️
PLEASE DO MORE!
KYLE💛
I liked it, keep doing it.
Hey !!!
He is using Niklas christl's Text and motion Graphics pack !!!
Amazing
difference is different focal lengths, swipe transitions, multiple angles
Original content right here.
Are they the Niklas Christal motion graphics? I purchased them and are stoked to use them in my videos?
so good and close 2 project :)
sorry but that runup man haha😂 2:23.
I loved this.
I follow you from Yemen, I love you so much
i love the Niklas Christl PACKS
Both are amazing! Congrats for your girlfriend for the first video with camera!
Can I ask you what focal length did you use? thank you!
This guy's voice and tone sounds like Parker Walbeck.
She did really good, but I agree, Kyle won!
The two videos are almost equal but the boy added extra touches
5:45 best Part 🤍👍🏻
WOOOOOOOW NIIICE!!!
My dad is actually a photographer, and he uses the r6. He also does 360 videos for fun
Good to see you using @nikla's lowerthirds!
Maybe a challenge between an expensive an an inexpensive camera?
You are talented God blesse you
Is it a coincidence DJI released the RS3 gimbal on the same day this video was published?
