It features Jay walking through doors that don't seem to be in the same dimension as the rest of his apartment. Also, roughly 4 years ago, "Warning" was uploaded on totheark. Similarities can be found between Null and Warning because at the end of the video, both feature "Regards". In short, I think Masky will be returning very soon...

But in the end that wasn’t the case. There is no escape. The magic isn’t real. What you believed in was a lie. The secret is that *_there is no ark._* That was all original, baby! ⚠️WARNING: "READ MORE" AT YOUR OWN RISK.⚠️ Once upon a time there was a little boy named Tim who had a lot of mental problems because of a strange entity known as the Operator. He got put in a mental hospital for years but didn't get better until they found the right meds. Then he burned it down. Tim meets his best bud Brian in college, who tries out for a role in a short film being made by Alex Kralie called Marble Hornets; Tim gets roped into it. Because Tim is infected with the OP, he spreads it to Brian and Alex just by being around; since Tim is medicated he suffers no severe side effects, but everyone else does. Alex becomes obsessed with the OP, filming it constantly; this eventually causes him to try to sacrifice his friends to it. He quits working on his film entirely (partially bc he killed most of the crew) but Jay, the script supervisor, asks for the tapes so the footage doesn’t go to waste. Alex complies only after burning as many incriminating tapes as he can, giving Jay a big boo boo on his noggin and dumping him in a field somewhere [normal behavior]. Jay now discovers the OP on the tapes and is infected. He documents the situation and posts it to YT (as you do). Meanwhile TTA (probably Seth) is looking to get revenge on Alex. Alex is now watching Jay, and Seth is watching them both. Jay interviews Tim (who doesn't remember anything), asks him a bunch of questions while generally being weird. Tim gets suspicious and 1) finds the MH channel AND totheark's channel 2) watches those old MH tapes he has lying around. Now he knows a LOT Meanwhile, Brian has been living a relatively normal life (besides occasionally coughing up blood but what can ya do) Alex knows Jay will interview Brian next so he opts for his go-to solution: *murder* TTA hints that Jay should go to Brian's house because something bad is about to happen. Alex attacks Brian, but he escapes. By the time Jay gets there everyone is gone, but TTA is watching him. Eventually Jay goes back to Brian's house to look for more clues. Tim, who is now following the story, decides to go as well but all incognito-like with his creepy mask that he never questions why he just has lying around in his house. Jay and Tim have a lil scuffle. Seth has recruited Brian in his Let's-Kill-Alex party, working together to help Jay uncover the truth about Alex, whom Jay only sees as a victim of the OP at this point. Tim is also invited but he can't sit at the cool kids table yet because he is very crazy. Alex decides to burn down Jay's apartment but the TTA crew scare him out in time by threatening to kill him (as you do). Alex sends a package to Jay pretending to be TTA that includes footage of his gf Amy and him being attacked by the OP. However, Alex killed Amy. Jay goes to the return address of the package, but it's a trap set by Alex to lure him out and kill him. Tim intervenes, they all fight, Alex tries to do a murder (again) but Jay doesn't let him, so he breaks Tim's leg as a compromise. Seeing his murder plans have been foiled again, Alex forms an "alliance" with Jay to "find Amy" who is "totally-not-dead". (Tim limps home) Jay starts to get suspicious of Alex, who doesn't seem interested in finding Amy and instead keeps trying to lure him into -his van- the woods. Brian n Tim trick Alex into chasing them and try to kill him but get scared off by the OP before they can finish the job. Jay breaks into Alex's house but gets caught because he's a total boob. They argue and he manages to "convince" Alex to give him the number of Amy's roommate, Jessica. When Jay calls her, she tells him that Alex said he had found Amy, so now they both know he is a dirty liar. Jay stalks Alex into the woods and sees him kill a dude. Alex invites Jay into the woods where he plans to kill him (again) but changes his mind when he realizes he can use him as bait to get Jessica too, to tie up more loose ends. Alex tries to shoot them, but they are (again) saved by Tim. (Pssst, are you actually reading this? Reply "cucumber" so I know you actually read it.) Team JJ run to a hotel to regroup but before they can leave again their memories are taken by the OP. They hang around the hotel being confused for awhile before eventually realizing it's weird to have adjoining rooms with a stranger. They decide to leave but get jumped by Tim and Brian (who are trying to protect them from Alex but do come off as a bit kidnap-y) Jay gets away from Tim while Brian tries save Jessica from Alex who chases him off with a gun. Alex tries to kill her but she gets away, then once again the OP shows up and she goes missing. Tim gets his memories wiped and forgets everything about the revenge plot, going back to his regular life blissfully ignorant of the whole situation. Jay looks through his tapes and re-learns Alex is trying to kill him and that Tim is Masky. Brian finds Tim's medical records and realizes that he is patient zero, the cause of everyone becoming infected. He is a bit miffed about it (seething with rage) and chooses not to restore Tim's memories, instead pushing him and Jay to work together. Jay n Tim team up under false pretenses but Tim starts to get suspicious of Jay who is acting totally loco. After breaking up, Tim again finds the MH channel, re-learns about all the whack nonsense that's been going on, and finds Jay to punch him. Brian gives Jay Tim's medical records, steals Tim's pills to make him go beast mode, and sends Jay after him. After Tim nearly kills Jay they finally start working together for real (as you do) They go to Rosswood and get attacked by the OP. Alex is also there, watching them. Jay gets away but Tim gets portaled around for a while, finally ending up at his car. He drives to the mental hospital to have some alone time and passes out. Alex shows up and Brian gives him a love-tap over the head with a metal pipe. Tim beats on Alex for a while before Brian tries to shoot him. Once again the OP ruins the moment. Tim meets back up with Jay and tells him the truth about his past. After watching the tape left by Hoody they realize they gotta skedaddle before Alex finds them and does a murder for real this time. Alex doesn't know where they are so he jumps Brian in the woods for info, but doesn't get anything. At this point it's clear Alex is on the run, probably bc of all the crime that Jay has been indiscriminately posting online. Tim and Jay go back to the tower and find a bunch of tapes Alex tried to burn which reveal even more Alex related crimes. They go to Alex's old house to look for clues but get attacked by OP again. Tim stands up to it because the meds give him +10 WIS but Jay fails his saving throw. Tim tries to share the meds but Jay only takes medicine that's been wrapped in cheese first and they’re out of Kraft singles. Alex is camping out in Tim's attic to get the drop on them, but Brian gives them a heads up. They go to Tim's house to find Alex but Brian has already left him in the old college. Before they can go kill Alex, Jay has a fit about a tape Tim is hiding. He runs off and watches it, sees what happened the night Jessica disappeared, then goes to the woods to look for her. (psst, the real secret code is actually pesto. All the cucumbers that stopped reading halfway are gonna be so confused ;^)) After getting portaled around by the OP he leaves a message apologizing but Tim never gets it. Jay is attacked by OP and switches into rage mode, going back to Tim's house to stab him. Tim's too cool to get stabbed and easily captures Jay, leaving him at the house while he goes to face Alex alone. Brian shows up and frees Jay. At some point, Alex gets out of his restraints and is now waiting for them. Jay clumsily stalks Tim around the college but gets shot by Alex and *DIES.* Tim finds Jay's camera and sees what happened. He chases Brian, whom he blames for Jay's death, but he gets away. When he finally catches up to Brian, he (seemingly intentionally) falls to his death and *DIES.* He steals a tape from his body that reveals that Hoody was Brian all along. Tim spends some time waiting for Alex and eventually catches him burning his house down. Tim goes to the college to end this once and for all and, after some Operator interference, he manages to stab him. Alex, while bleeding to death, monologues that he was right about everything and *DIES.* Much later, Tim says goodbye to Jessica, whom he probably has known the location of all along but kept secret to protect her. He tells her Jay is alive, seemingly just to spare her from the painful truth. At this point it's possible that Tim realizes the OP is trying to make her the new puppet, kills her, then drives off to kill himself; effectively ending the spread of the Operator. OR he leaves her alone but kills himself anyway cause he is not in the mood for _another_ Alex but has had enough murder, thank you very much OR he simply leaves her alone and heads off into the sunset to put this whole situation behind him. (technically canon thanks to Clear Lakes 44) THE END. P.S. It's very likely Seth/TTA dies at some point because the last video that was _definitely_ made by him was “Decline”. Alex probably found and killed him, or he got his memories wiped by the Operator. Or he offed himself. Bummer. Either way, totheark’s fate is unclear. i slowed the video down and paused quickly after each flash and it says "IAONR" "RPYRA" "SIMHT" "75EBX" "84129" "MRWIT" (i found mrwit most interesting because Tim's last name is the series is WrIghT) and then it repeats before they start laping over each other so you cant read it, those are the exact quotes written out. If someone makes sense of that please explain, thanks.

"Who is left to hear the secret?" As of now? Only Tim. ...Oh, and every person who's ever watched Marble Hornets. Alex was trying to kill everyone to stop the 'knowledge' of the Operator spreading, but Jay's unintentionally broadcasted it to every single person who's watched it. Sleep well.
Also, judging by the fact that Brian is Totheark, here's my guess as to what everything here means. "IT IS SILENT" - the story is approaching its end, and people have already started dying. "WHO IS LEFT TO HEAR THE/YOUR SECRET" - as i said in my last comment, the 'secret' is the Operator. Alex is trying to kill everyone so that it can't spread. "DO YOU KNOW / I HAVE FOR YEARS" - self-explanatory, brian knows about the operator. "ARK AWAITS" - the 'ark' for brian is death and therefore freedom for him, in my opinion. "WHAT WILL/DO YOU HEAR/SEE" - again, self-explanatory comment. "REGARDS - IAⓍNR" - in my opinion, given some of them are numbers and such and this is the first to appear and the only one to have the Operator sign in it, this is the most important one. Replace the Ⓧ with a B, shuffle the letters around, and wham - BRIAN. it's him signing off.
David Howard You need to back your comment up there friend because there's no way that TIM could be TTA when he's been running around with Jay and then killing Alex and all that shit. It's also pretty evident through the TTA videos since freaking Hoody, who is Brian, is in most of them.
Christ these videos were so immaculately well made. Unbelievably great vibes, perfect mixture of recording and image editing just like how 2009-2014 was the grand finale to the internet's invasion of reality. Marble Hornets + totheark surpassed the generation of ARGs and series they spawned, with maybe the exception of EverymanHYBRID. Marble Hornets truly *got* it and carried out such an amazing experience just before the web evolved too much for its own good. You can make a horror web series today, but you can't make Marble Hornets again. All my sleepless nights as a kid watching these were actually a blessing, because I got to experience these in the purest way. Huge shouts out.
illdiewithoutpi Yeah, something that follows Alex or that girl from the hotel... whatever happened to her? I thought for sure she'd come back eventually, possibly even in a retroactive "found" tape but she never did. What was her deal? Why was she acting the way she did? Is she the person with the hoodie and the mask maybe?
this is eye opening! this video is actually being directed at Tim, and its very obvious at the beginning when the second line pops up with "who is left to hear the secret" the "the" changes to "your", and coupled with "Do You know" followed by "I have for years". if this is Hoodie then my theory of him knowing Tim which could mean its Brian (Brian was his friend from school) and he's the only person who knew he was crazy. and if that's not the case then it might be Sarah and Seth who everyone has speculated as being behind the Ark and are trying to point Tim in the right direction while at the same time remind him that he's not all there.
@@novustalks7525 They were at the beginning. Turn on subtitles, they show everyone's names. Sarah was the actress and Seth was their cameraman on tapes from shooting the film

I personally don't think that they had anything to do with this, and that is the reason why we never see them again. But I still have like four-five vids to watch, so I don't really know the whole thing yet
This video makes me sad, to be honest. It makes me remember when it first came out, and how excited I was. When it said "what will you see?" It made me believe there was so much more to come, but there wasn't. I'll probably rewatch totheark for old times' sake. It's just not the same as that excitement I felt whenever there was a new video here or a new entry. But all things end, I suppose. :0

Right as "regards" flickers out, you can see a real quick flash of Hoody's mask on the left. I think that pretty much confirms Hoody is ToTheArk. I mean it was sorta obvious already, but now I know without a doubt. It's also easy to tell that Hoody is a male, so that sorta narrows down who ToTheArk could be.
But then again Masky flickered in and out of previous TTA videos, even just Tim's face. All before we even knew Hoody. (Though I totes agree. Whoever Hoody is is also TTA.)
Abby Walters Masky was totheark in Season 1, but then hoody took over. Jay even hinted to it on his twitter page when he said that it seemed like the totheark videos were being edited by a different person

Once it ends I should have a marathon of watching it with my friends so we can kind of have a recap of the full story (i've been forgeting what happened last in between entries :P)
Perhaps the noise we hear is a train whistle. TTA does place particular emphasis on what we should listen for in this video. If the sound is not a scream, but instead a train whistle then perhaps it will be worth it for Tim to follow the train tracks back to his old hospital.
You know, we never have been given a reason to trust TTA. I never understood why fans just assume that TTA is trying to help. They take Tim's drugs. They put Jay in dangerous situations. They actually get Jay killed, whether it was inadvertent or not. You may be on to something with the idea that TTA is luring Tim there.
SuperFlapjackersgame I have been looking into that theory as well. There is a video... can't remember which in which distortion changes Jay's face into the "hoodie" mask. It would also explain how TTA is able to hack all of the accounts, track Jay and cast even before shooting for the original Marble Hornets film, know exactly where everyone is at all times, and why he needs to hide his identity. If this is true..... what is his overall objective. Why lead himself to his death? How does he know so much about the ark? What happened after the Operator took him, and are the others still alive elsewhere?
SuperFlapjackersgame Well if Hoodie was Jay and Jay wasn't dead he sure is now. The last entry implies that Hoodie was not Jay. I think we will know in the next entry when Tim goes through that tape. If TTA posts another entry then we know TTA is an organization and is not Hoodie himself/herself.
For any random viewers that are confused of what this is. This is totheark's _last_ response video to Marble Hornets. There's a playlist arranged with all the entries and responses. **Now this is for you Marble Hornets fans** (not trying to come off rude) - the cast (THAC) stated that the Operator and Slender Man are two different beings. They look and may act the same, but they are different. - the names “Masky” and “Hoodie”/Hoody is never said in any of the videos, but just nicknames the fanbase made up, eventually the nicknames getting accepted by the cast. - “Skully” is a dropped idea, first and last appearance is in Entry #26. Originally going to be Jay's “wrong state of mind” but the cast thought it was going to be confusing. - “proxies” are not used in this. - “Who is totheark?” the cast answered with, “yes” - the cast said it was fine to see their characters (e.g. Masky and Hoodie) as Creepypastas. But to me, make sure you know Marble Hornets. - Marble Hornets was filmed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I hope that cleared things out. Is there anything else I'm missing?

It's been dormant in my playlist called "creepythings" since, and when watching Marble Hornets over this past week, I noticed this video had that red line that meant I watched it (I was watching the playlist that was both Marble Hornets and totheark) I ended up finally getting context to this video. Yeah, it's still eerie, vague and a bit confusing, but now I can finally piece together a theory
I'm not even scared or creeped out by the series anymore, think that feeling went away by season two. It's odd, I dunno why, I find myself more worried about the characters and where the plot will go next than worrying about when the next jump-scare and TO encounters. At this point I don't even care about knowing the origins of TO, I just really hope they end the series with the important things explained and leaving certain things up to the viewer to decide.
"It is silent" funny how it relates to what's going on - in my opinion of course. The marble hornets fandom has practically died down, found new obsessions, and although I thought Clear Lakes was going to carry the same thrill and suspense as marble hornets, the recent update's had little content and I'm afraid it'll go stale since tim and Joseph is no longer in the team. Ever since they left so many people have stopped watching also. It really does feel like everything's silent.
I love how we are like a family and talk about marble hornets trying to find what's going to happen next but at the same time we all know this is not real.

I've realized something. Jay's computer has something I've seen in another characters' computer(s). Jay has the same God-like wi-fi connection that the Winchesters do.
***** It can't be the end. Tim still hasn't found Alex yet. But after watching Entry 83 we can all confirm that Jay is dead. Hoodie might be dead, and we'll soon know who he really is/was. He was unmasked by Tim but the damn video distortion blocked his face. The next few enties will be the tapes he grabbed off hoodie so hopefully we won't have to wait like a month for the next entry.
Worked through some other theories, and I think Brian was totheark, and this channel was some kind of coping mechanism for him after he learned he was Hoody.
Some believe the ark is just when TO has control. Big- None of the mentions of "ARK" leads to being a person. It's usually known as "The Ark". Only once did it not have the word 'the' in front of it.
'IT IS SILENT' This means the calm before the storm, the calm before Tim's final confrontation with Alex. 'WHO IS LEFT TO HEAR THE/YOUR SECRET' Tim has some dark secret he can't remember, possibly linked to his past in the mental hospital.This implies that there is no one left to know Tim's secret. Everyone is dead except Tim and Alex. 'DO YOU KNOW' 'I HAVE FOR YEARS' Hoodie/Brian has known Tim's secret for years, obviously since Brian was Tim's only friend way back when. Although it still leaves us wondering why Hoodie never did anything about it. Maybe he couldn't because of the operator. 'ARK AWAITS' We're finally gonna know what this damn ark is. 'WHAT DO/WILL YOU SEE/HEAR' There's an odd whistling noise throughout this video, it's definitely not someone screaming. Sounds more like a train whistle. It has some kind of meaning, maybe a clue to Alex's location. As for what I see, I see just a burnt out piece of scrap metal in the woods. The operator likes fire, but this could be another clue to the location. What will we see? The ark, and some god damn answers. And then it cuts to; REGARDS. Regards was the name of the first totheark video, so this recurring phrase means totheark's work has come full circle. After that we see six messages; SIMHT = Smith maybe? IA X NR = The symbol is for 'B'. It obviously says Brian. Case closed. 75EBX = It could be complete bullshit, Troy and Joseph have said that they sometimes put in random stuff in totheark videos to fuck with us. 84129 = It's a puzzle of some kind, shouldn't be that hard to break it. PRYRA = You can take 4 of the letters and it says 'Pray'. But it's not that at all. MRWIT = Yeah it says 'mister wit' Probably BS or could be something. At least one of these is decoded (easily though). The others could be anagrams to be used with each other. Entry #85 will be epic.
*Spoiler warning* I'm sure plenty of people are glad that tim killed alex but its also sad if you think about it. Before the shit hit the fan they were friends and had made plenty of good memories together. We can see this in some of the raw footage that took place right as stuff started to get weird. You can also hear tim wheeze crying as he leaves alex. Tim when through so much shit in marble hornets but was also a really cool character and was stronge af. Props to the creators they really did make some cool ass characters with an intricate and amazing plot.

Iirc, the only Clear Lakes 44 channel is a fan continuation. The original videos are unlisted. The series was also dropped after THAC (the creators of MH) fell apart. You can find them in playlists, though, if you're curious. ECKVA is the official successor now, but the comics serve as more of an actual *sequel* if that's what you're really looking for. Glad you enjoyed the series and have fun diving deeper!
Marble Hornets will always be unfinished, no matter what is added. It was always meant to be incomplete. of course there are things missing. if they told us the secret, there would be no more speculation. No more mystery. The moral is, the ending isn't always what you hoped for. Also, to pay attention to whats behind you. ⊗
A damn shame that after 8 years, the most recent video on Marble Hornets is a (supposedly) temporary video promoting merchandise, a plush doll of Alex. Nothing wrong with merchandising I suppose, but with that big a time gap, it almost feels like they're feeding chalky crumbs to a starving animal..

I find it interesting that for a while we have been following Jay with Tim being a questionable suspect but now Tim seems to be our protagonist at the moment. I still believe Jay will come back in some way I mean he's only been gone for like two videos. And I'd still like to believe that Ark is more than one person and that Jay must have been one of the "Arks" for a while and didn't know it. I mean Ark kept getting the Marble Hornets password and posted videos on the account and I assume it's not easy to hack a place like RUclips - It had to been Jay and he didn't realize he was doing it because of Slender Sickness After all there had been a couple of videos in the past where Jay filmed himself leaving his room for hours or getting up at night and not remembering it at all. I think he may have been Slender's proxy all along but for a while Jay was able to maintain some sort of control over his conscious until he disappeared recently And think about this: why would Masky, or Hoodie, help Jay escape from Tim's house and follow Tim to the college unless they wanted Jay to be where Slender Man was so he can "capture" Jay's mind once and for all But it's just my theory...
Hoody's alive. Here's my proof. No pulse was checked whatsoever. And why would the Operator protect Hoody's identity if he was dead? Would you care if someone's identity was revealed if they were already dead? ...Exactly, I don't think anyone would. It wouldn't make any sense for it to protect him. So that's why I'm thinking that Hoody's alive. And I also think that he joined forces with the Operator (or is being controlled by it) because when the Operator first appeared in the entry, Hoody did not run from it. Then later on when Hoody got knocked out from the fall, and Tim was trying to lift up his mask. The Operator protected Hoody from Tim. Causing him to run. So that's another thing, but as I said before. This will not be the last we see of Hoody. (Jay on the other hand, he's probably dead from the blood loss by now.)
Why aren't we trying to figure this out? We all used to be a huge community that supported each other and helped each other break the videos down. Yeah sure I've read the comments, they all speak of locations and stuff. That's really cool that bc of you guys we know where all this stuff is, it really is. I love knowing that kinda stuff. What/who do they mean by Ark? It sounds like a place with 'What will you see?' 'Regards [garbled text]' Is this them signing their work? Is this a reference to their first video? The garbled text almost makes me want to say they're singing their work. But what freaking code are they using to disguise their name? Are they even using their name? Also, first vid since Jay's disappearance (assuming he isn't dead since he technically didn't die and was taken) Since Hoody apparently set Alex free to shoot Jay. You're right, there is something there playing in the audio track. There's the typical kind of like...muted...sounds that're in TTA vids, something that could be a train, or a scream, I can't really make anything else out. Granted I'm 50% deaf so I'm a bad one to try to figure that out. If someone with better hearing wants to contribute please do. Gotta try to do this ourselves since TTADecoded either gave up or is most likely dead.

I saw someone at school today wearing a bright yellow hoodie with a black mouth mask and I thought it was Hoodie (or a cosplay) for a _split second._ Before I acknowledged it was a mouth mask and not a ski mask.
It said Brian for a split second after it said regards and showed Hoody's face at :35. So that answers who Hoody is, the other question now is if Hoody is Totheark, or if Totheark is someone else. Because the Jay theory is now disproven because he's probably dead. Totheark is either Amy, Sarah, Tim, or an alternate personality of Alex, like Tim and Masky. The two I'm thinking are most probable are Amy or split personality Alex. Because it's been discreetly mentioned in this channel and in Marble Hornets that Alex drowned Sarah in a lake. What happened to Amy after she saw the Operator is still a mystery. Tim seems like he's dead, as well. And Alex could very well have a split personality like Tim did and Jay did towards the end. So Totheark is either Amy or Alex, probably Amy.
Just because it said Brian, doesn't confirm it, but it is probably Brian. Although it is confirmed that TTA is *not* Hoody Or masky he is "The Third". We can also sespect that its not Alex, or the operator, because Masky and Hoody are in the videos to much, and Alex and the operator is ageist Hoody and Masky. There is a chance that it could be Jessica, because in one of the entry's (forget what one) Hoody saves Jess from Alex who was about to shoot her. She could of been playing dumb the whole time, but also note that Masky and Hoody kidnapped her (I think), but that could of been staged to look more real. Also note TTA could possibly be someone who has not been showed yet, but I do believe we will be knowing very soon.

Technically, we don't know that. While Tim went off the handle a while back, Brian never seemed to lose it like Tim did. Nor did he have much/no connection to the Operator.
That's because Brian made this one on the channel. I found that out because on one of the pages when the codes were going by a frown showed up on the screen. How I know is because I was writing down the codes.
I just checked every frame, and I'm positive I do NOT see the word "Brian" on there. There is a word IA(X)NR, which if you replace the operator symbol (X) with a B, it's an anagram for Brian, but that's still a bit too vague.
***** If Jay has survived this entire encounter, losing his memory, dealing with the Operator, etc., and still consistently chooses to find out the truth, he'll probably be alive. He's the most resilient character through the series.

Four years ago, an entry was uploaded on February 16th, 2010. It remains to be an entry without explanation. It features Jay walking through doors that don't seem to be in the same dimension as the rest of his apartment.
Also, roughly 4 years ago, "Warning" was uploaded on totheark. Similarities can be found between Null and Warning because at the end of the video, both feature "Regards".
In short, I think Masky will be returning very soon...

Brian and Seth wanted to believe there was hope- that killing Alex would set them all free. But in the end that wasn’t the case.
There is no escape. The magic isn’t real. What you believed in was a lie.

I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to love this series without having to bring their textbook to class, so to speak, but honestly never expected anyone to even read what I wrote. You put up with my inconsistent formatting, text walls, bad jokes, and so very many typos.
I should have a comment under EVERY Marble Hornets video with a comment section. If you can: find them, read them, give them a like and tell me your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you and it would help them not get buried so others can see them too.

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Tim who had a lot of mental problems because of a strange entity known as the Operator. He got put in a mental hospital for years but didn't get better until they found the right meds. Then he burned it down.
Tim meets his best bud Brian in college, who tries out for a role in a short film being made by Alex Kralie called Marble Hornets; Tim gets roped into it. Because Tim is infected with the OP, he spreads it to Brian and Alex just by being around; since Tim is medicated he suffers no severe side effects, but everyone else does.
Alex becomes obsessed with the OP, filming it constantly; this eventually causes him to try to sacrifice his friends to it. He quits working on his film entirely (partially bc he killed most of the crew) but Jay, the script supervisor, asks for the tapes so the footage doesn’t go to waste. Alex complies only after burning as many incriminating tapes as he can, giving Jay a big boo boo on his noggin and dumping him in a field somewhere [normal behavior].
Jay now discovers the OP on the tapes and is infected. He documents the situation and posts it to YT (as you do). Meanwhile TTA (probably Seth) is looking to get revenge on Alex.
Alex is now watching Jay, and Seth is watching them both. Jay interviews Tim (who doesn't remember anything), asks him a bunch of questions while generally being weird.
Tim gets suspicious and
1) finds the MH channel AND totheark's channel 2) watches those old MH tapes he has lying around.
Now he knows a LOT
Meanwhile, Brian has been living a relatively normal life (besides occasionally coughing up blood but what can ya do)
Alex knows Jay will interview Brian next so he opts for his go-to solution: *murder*
TTA hints that Jay should go to Brian's house because something bad is about to happen. Alex attacks Brian, but he escapes. By the time Jay gets there everyone is gone, but TTA is watching him. Eventually Jay goes back to Brian's house to look for more clues. Tim, who is now following the story, decides to go as well but all incognito-like with his creepy mask that he never questions why he just has lying around in his house. Jay and Tim have a lil scuffle.
Seth has recruited Brian in his Let's-Kill-Alex party, working together to help Jay uncover the truth about Alex, whom Jay only sees as a victim of the OP at this point. Tim is also invited but he can't sit at the cool kids table yet because he is very crazy. Alex decides to burn down Jay's apartment but the TTA crew scare him out in time by threatening to kill him (as you do). Alex sends a package to Jay pretending to be TTA that includes footage of his gf Amy and him being attacked by the OP. However, Alex killed Amy.
Jay goes to the return address of the package, but it's a trap set by Alex to lure him out and kill him. Tim intervenes, they all fight, Alex tries to do a murder (again) but Jay doesn't let him, so he breaks Tim's leg as a compromise. Seeing his murder plans have been foiled again, Alex forms an "alliance" with Jay to "find Amy" who is "totally-not-dead".
(Tim limps home)
Jay starts to get suspicious of Alex, who doesn't seem interested in finding Amy and instead keeps trying to lure him into -his van- the woods. Brian n Tim trick Alex into chasing them and try to kill him but get scared off by the OP before they can finish the job. Jay breaks into Alex's house but gets caught because he's a total boob. They argue and he manages to "convince" Alex to give him the number of Amy's roommate, Jessica. When Jay calls her, she tells him that Alex said he had found Amy, so now they both know he is a dirty liar. Jay stalks Alex into the woods and sees him kill a dude. Alex invites Jay into the woods where he plans to kill him (again) but changes his mind when he realizes he can use him as bait to get Jessica too, to tie up more loose ends. Alex tries to shoot them, but they are (again) saved by Tim.
(Pssst, are you actually reading this? Reply "cucumber" so I know you actually read it.)
Team JJ run to a hotel to regroup but before they can leave again their memories are taken by the OP. They hang around the hotel being confused for awhile before eventually realizing it's weird to have adjoining rooms with a stranger. They decide to leave but get jumped by Tim and Brian (who are trying to protect them from Alex but do come off as a bit kidnap-y)
Jay gets away from Tim while Brian tries save Jessica from Alex who chases him off with a gun. Alex tries to kill her but she gets away, then once again the OP shows up and she goes missing. Tim gets his memories wiped and forgets everything about the revenge plot, going back to his regular life blissfully ignorant of the whole situation.
Jay looks through his tapes and re-learns Alex is trying to kill him and that Tim is Masky.
Brian finds Tim's medical records and realizes that he is patient zero, the cause of everyone becoming infected. He is a bit miffed about it (seething with rage) and chooses not to restore Tim's memories, instead pushing him and Jay to work together.
Jay n Tim team up under false pretenses but Tim starts to get suspicious of Jay who is acting totally loco. After breaking up, Tim again finds the MH channel, re-learns about all the whack nonsense that's been going on, and finds Jay to punch him. Brian gives Jay Tim's medical records, steals Tim's pills to make him go beast mode, and sends Jay after him.
After Tim nearly kills Jay they finally start working together for real (as you do)
They go to Rosswood and get attacked by the OP. Alex is also there, watching them. Jay gets away but Tim gets portaled around for a while, finally ending up at his car. He drives to the mental hospital to have some alone time and passes out. Alex shows up and Brian gives him a love-tap over the head with a metal pipe. Tim beats on Alex for a while before Brian tries to shoot him. Once again the OP ruins the moment. Tim meets back up with Jay and tells him the truth about his past. After watching the tape left by Hoody they realize they gotta skedaddle before Alex finds them and does a murder for real this time. Alex doesn't know where they are so he jumps Brian in the woods for info, but doesn't get anything. At this point it's clear Alex is on the run, probably bc of all the crime that Jay has been indiscriminately posting online.
Tim and Jay go back to the tower and find a bunch of tapes Alex tried to burn which reveal even more Alex related crimes. They go to Alex's old house to look for clues but get attacked by OP again. Tim stands up to it because the meds give him +10 WIS but Jay fails his saving throw. Tim tries to share the meds but Jay only takes medicine that's been wrapped in cheese first and they’re out of Kraft singles.
Alex is camping out in Tim's attic to get the drop on them, but Brian gives them a heads up. They go to Tim's house to find Alex but Brian has already left him in the old college. Before they can go kill Alex, Jay has a fit about a tape Tim is hiding. He runs off and watches it, sees what happened the night Jessica disappeared, then goes to the woods to look for her.
(psst, the real secret code is actually pesto. All the cucumbers that stopped reading halfway are gonna be so confused ;^))
After getting portaled around by the OP he leaves a message apologizing but Tim never gets it. Jay is attacked by OP and switches into rage mode, going back to Tim's house to stab him. Tim's too cool to get stabbed and easily captures Jay, leaving him at the house while he goes to face Alex alone.
Brian shows up and frees Jay. At some point, Alex gets out of his restraints and is now waiting for them. Jay clumsily stalks Tim around the college but gets shot by Alex and *DIES.*
Tim finds Jay's camera and sees what happened. He chases Brian, whom he blames for Jay's death, but he gets away. When he finally catches up to Brian, he (seemingly intentionally) falls to his death and *DIES.* He steals a tape from his body that reveals that Hoody was Brian all along. Tim spends some time waiting for Alex and eventually catches him burning his house down. Tim goes to the college to end this once and for all and, after some Operator interference, he manages to stab him. Alex, while bleeding to death, monologues that he was right about everything and *DIES.*
Much later, Tim says goodbye to Jessica, whom he probably has known the location of all along but kept secret to protect her. He tells her Jay is alive, seemingly just to spare her from the painful truth.
At this point it's possible that Tim realizes the OP is trying to make her the new puppet, kills her, then drives off to kill himself; effectively ending the spread of the Operator.
OR he leaves her alone but kills himself anyway cause he is not in the mood for _another_ Alex but has had enough murder, thank you very much
OR he simply leaves her alone and heads off into the sunset to put this whole situation behind him. (technically canon thanks to Clear Lakes 44)
THE END.
P.S. It's very likely Seth/TTA dies at some point because the last video that was _definitely_ made by him was “Decline”.
Alex probably found and killed him, or he got his memories wiped by the Operator. Or he offed himself. Bummer.
Either way, totheark’s fate is unclear.

"IT IS SILENT" - the story is approaching its end, and people have already started dying.
"WHO IS LEFT TO HEAR THE/YOUR SECRET" - as i said in my last comment, the 'secret' is the Operator. Alex is trying to kill everyone so that it can't spread.
"DO YOU KNOW / I HAVE FOR YEARS" - self-explanatory, brian knows about the operator.
"ARK AWAITS" - the 'ark' for brian is death and therefore freedom for him, in my opinion.
"WHAT WILL/DO YOU HEAR/SEE" - again, self-explanatory comment.
"REGARDS - IAⓍNR" - in my opinion, given some of them are numbers and such and this is the first to appear and the only one to have the Operator sign in it, this is the most important one. Replace the Ⓧ with a B, shuffle the letters around, and wham - BRIAN. it's him signing off.

Christ these videos were so immaculately well made. Unbelievably great vibes, perfect mixture of recording and image editing just like how 2009-2014 was the grand finale to the internet's invasion of reality. Marble Hornets + totheark surpassed the generation of ARGs and series they spawned, with maybe the exception of EverymanHYBRID. Marble Hornets truly *got* it and carried out such an amazing experience just before the web evolved too much for its own good. You can make a horror web series today, but you can't make Marble Hornets again.
All my sleepless nights as a kid watching these were actually a blessing, because I got to experience these in the purest way. Huge shouts out.

I thought for sure she'd come back eventually, possibly even in a retroactive "found" tape but she never did. What was her deal? Why was she acting the way she did? this is eye opening! this video is actually being directed at Tim, and its very obvious at the beginning when the second line pops up with "who is left to hear the secret" the "the" changes to "your", and coupled with "Do You know" followed by "I have for years". if this is Hoodie then my theory of him knowing Tim which could mean its Brian (Brian was his friend from school) and he's the only person who knew he was crazy. and if that's not the case then it might be Sarah and Seth who everyone has speculated as being behind the Ark and are trying to point Tim in the right direction while at the same time remind him that he's not all there.

Right as "regards" flickers out, you can see a real quick flash of Hoody's mask on the left. I think that pretty much confirms Hoody is ToTheArk. I mean it was sorta obvious already, but now I know without a doubt. It's also easy to tell that Hoody is a male, so that sorta narrows down who ToTheArk could be.
But then again Masky flickered in and out of previous TTA videos, even just Tim's face. All before we even knew Hoody. (Though I totes agree. Whoever Hoody is is also TTA.)
Abby Walters Masky was totheark in Season 1, but then hoody took over. Jay even hinted to it on his twitter page when he said that it seemed like the totheark videos were being edited by a different person

Perhaps the noise we hear is a train whistle. TTA does place particular emphasis on what we should listen for in this video. If the sound is not a scream, but instead a train whistle then perhaps it will be worth it for Tim to follow the train tracks back to his old hospital.

You know, we never have been given a reason to trust TTA. I never understood why fans just assume that TTA is trying to help. They take Tim's drugs. They put Jay in dangerous situations. They actually get Jay killed, whether it was inadvertent or not. You may be on to something with the idea that TTA is luring Tim there.
Cross check this video with "reguards". Just a wild guess, but i think that ment more than coming full circle.
SuperFlapjackersgame I have been looking into that theory as well. There is a video... can't remember which in which distortion changes Jay's face into the "hoodie" mask. It would also explain how TTA is able to hack all of the accounts, track Jay and cast even before shooting for the original Marble Hornets film, know exactly where everyone is at all times, and why he needs to hide his identity. If this is true..... what is his overall objective. Why lead himself to his death? How does he know so much about the ark? What happened after the Operator took him, and are the others still alive elsewhere?
SuperFlapjackersgame Well if Hoodie was Jay and Jay wasn't dead he sure is now. The last entry implies that Hoodie was not Jay. I think we will know in the next entry when Tim goes through that tape. If TTA posts another entry then we know TTA is an organization and is not Hoodie himself/herself.

For any random viewers that are confused of what this is. This is totheark's _last_ response video to Marble Hornets. There's a playlist arranged with all the entries and responses.
**Now this is for you Marble Hornets fans** (not trying to come off rude)
- the cast (THAC) stated that the Operator and Slender Man are two different beings. They look and may act the same, but they are different.
- the names “Masky” and “Hoodie”/Hoody is never said in any of the videos, but just nicknames the fanbase made up, eventually the nicknames getting accepted by the cast.
- “Skully” is a dropped idea, first and last appearance is in Entry #26. Originally going to be Jay's “wrong state of mind” but the cast thought it was going to be confusing.
- “proxies” are not used in this.
- “Who is totheark?” the cast answered with, “yes”
- the cast said it was fine to see their characters (e.g. Masky and Hoodie) as Creepypastas. But to me, make sure you know Marble Hornets.
- Marble Hornets was filmed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

I found this video about a year ago with absolutely no context. It's been dormant in my playlist called "creepythings" since, and when watching Marble Hornets over this past week, I noticed this video had that red line that meant I watched it (I was watching the playlist that was both Marble Hornets and totheark)
I ended up finally getting context to this video. Yeah, it's still eerie, vague and a bit confusing, but now I can finally piece together a theory
I'm not even scared or creeped out by the series anymore, think that feeling went away by season two. It's odd, I dunno why, I find myself more worried about the characters and where the plot will go next than worrying about when the next jump-scare and TO encounters.
At this point I don't even care about knowing the origins of TO, I just really hope they end the series with the important things explained and leaving certain things up to the viewer to decide.

funny how it relates to what's going on - in my opinion of course. The marble hornets fandom has practically died down, found new obsessions, and although I thought Clear Lakes was going to carry the same thrill and suspense as marble hornets, the recent update's had little content and I'm afraid it'll go stale since tim and Joseph is no longer in the team. Ever since they left so many people have stopped watching also. It really does feel like everything's silent.
It kind of feels like an actual goodbye, doesn't it?
the fandom will never completely die, we will all keep their legacy and name going until the very end of time.

Worked through some other theories, and I think Brian was totheark, and this channel was some kind of coping mechanism for him after he learned he was Hoody.

Some believe the ark is just when TO has control. Big- None of the mentions of "ARK" leads to being a person. It's usually known as "The Ark". Only once did it not have the word 'the' in front of it.
Ark is death. If hoody was TTA, Hoody was led to it, mission accomplished. Plus Tim led Jay, Alex all to the ark. At the university
'IT IS SILENT' This means the calm before the storm, the calm before Tim's final confrontation with Alex. Everyone is dead except Tim and Alex. 'DO YOU KNOW' 'I HAVE FOR YEARS' Hoodie/Brian has known Tim's secret for years, obviously since Brian was Tim's only friend way back when. Although it still leaves us wondering why Hoodie never did anything about it. Maybe he couldn't because of the operator. 'ARK AWAITS' We're finally gonna know what this damn ark is. 'WHAT DO/WILL YOU SEE/HEAR' There's an odd whistling noise throughout this video, it's definitely not someone screaming. Sounds more like a train whistle. It has some kind of meaning, maybe a clue to Alex's location. As for what I see, I see just a burnt out piece of scrap metal in the woods. The operator likes fire, but this could be another clue to the location. What will we see? The ark, and some god damn answers. And then it cuts to; REGARDS. Regards was the name of the first totheark video, so this recurring phrase means totheark's work has come full circle. After that we see six messages;

At least one of these is decoded (easily though). The others could be anagrams to be used with each other. Entry #85 will be epic.
*Spoiler warning* I'm sure plenty of people are glad that tim killed alex but its also sad if you think about it. Before the shit hit the fan they were friends and had made plenty of good memories together. We can see this in some of the raw footage that took place right as stuff started to get weird. You can also hear tim wheeze crying as he leaves alex. Tim when through so much shit in marble hornets but was also a really cool character and was stronge af. Props to the creators they really did make some cool ass characters with an intricate and amazing plot.
This always makes me so sad how everything went down the hill :(

"What will you see?" I think Is referring to when Tim pulled his mask off In Entry 83? Like Brian was expecting Tim to find out he's Identity?

So "It is silent" may refer to Jay, who is silent, totally and completely silent, now. And "who is left to hear the secrets" could be Jay is no longer there to know about what is going on, about Alex's secrets, since he is the one who was given the tapes from Alex. "Who is left to hear your secrets", Considering Jay is dead, he can't make more tapes, to explain what is going on, what he is witnessing and posting for Hoody to see. "Do you know" is regarding to Jay, that does Jay know, "I have for years" means Hoody has known about Jay's and everyone elses secrets for years now, so it means that does Jay know what Hoody has known his secrets for years. "Ark awaits" means that that *ark* (possibly that place where the man alex's has killed is at) is waiting. "What do you see" What does Jay see, see at the ark maybe? "What do you hear" What will Jay hear, or maybe it's even pointed towards Tim. "What will you see" What will Jay see, or what will Tim see, What will Tim see, hear. I will decoded the numbers and letters later.

I know this kind of sounds stupid, but could that mean Mr. Tim? W is in a way an upside down M, and we all know Tim is Masky, so could these be references to people who auditioned for Marble Hornets? In "Regards", there were numbers that equaled the letters "LOK", so could the numbers in this also be a special message when you use them? HDABIGE would be the letters. I'm not very good at these sorts of things though, so I'm most likely incorrect on all of it. XD

Iirc, the only Clear Lakes 44 channel is a fan continuation. The original videos are unlisted. The series was also dropped after THAC (the creators of MH) fell apart. You can find them in playlists, though, if you're curious. ECKVA is the official successor now, but the comics serve as more of an actual *sequel* if that's what you're really looking for.

Marble Hornets will always be unfinished, no matter what is added. It was always meant to be incomplete. of course there are things missing. if they told us the secret, there would be no more speculation. No more mystery. The moral is, the ending isn't always what you hoped for. Also, to pay attention to whats behind you. ⊗

A damn shame that after 8 years, the most recent video on Marble Hornets is a (supposedly) temporary video promoting merchandise, a plush doll of Alex. Nothing wrong with merchandising I suppose, but with that big a time gap, it almost feels like they're feeding chalky crumbs to a starving animal..
Did anyone else realize that if you pieced every entry of marble hornets together , basically all you would hear is coughing because that's literally most of what happened throughout the series

I find it interesting that for a while we have been following Jay with Tim being a questionable suspect but now Tim seems to be our protagonist at the moment.
I still believe Jay will come back in some way I mean he's only been gone for like two videos.
And I'd still like to believe that Ark is more than one person and that Jay must have been one of the "Arks" for a while and didn't know it. I mean Ark kept getting the Marble Hornets password and posted videos on the account and I assume it's not easy to hack a place like RUclips - It had to been Jay and he didn't realize he was doing it because of Slender Sickness
After all there had been a couple of videos in the past where Jay filmed himself leaving his room for hours or getting up at night and not remembering it at all. I think he may have been Slender's proxy all along but for a while Jay was able to maintain some sort of control over his conscious until he disappeared recently
And think about this: why would Masky, or Hoodie, help Jay escape from Tim's house and follow Tim to the college unless they wanted Jay to be where Slender Man was so he can "capture" Jay's mind once and for all
But it's just my theory...

Hoody's alive. Here's my proof. No pulse was checked whatsoever. And why would the Operator protect Hoody's identity if he was dead? Would you care if someone's identity was revealed if they were already dead? ...Exactly, I don't think anyone would. It wouldn't make any sense for it to protect him. So that's why I'm thinking that Hoody's alive. And I also think that he joined forces with the Operator (or is being controlled by it) because when the Operator first appeared in the entry, Hoody did not run from it. Then later on when Hoody got knocked out from the fall, and Tim was trying to lift up his mask. The Operator protected Hoody from Tim. Causing him to run. So that's another thing, but as I said before. This will not be the last we see of Hoody. (Jay on the other hand, he's probably dead from the blood loss by now.)

We all used to be a huge community that supported each other and helped each other break the videos down. Yeah sure I've read the comments, they all speak of locations and stuff. That's really cool that bc of you guys we know where all this stuff is, it really is. I love knowing that kinda stuff.
But like, all the other stuff complaining about how they haven't uploaded in so long or how the video quality has gone down or whatever. If you don't enjoy it anymore, please stop. I'm sure people tried to figure it out at first but it is really difficult to see those comments if a bunch of pointless ones block the way. 'Ark awaits.' What/who do they mean by Ark? It sounds like a place with 'What will you see?'
'Regards [garbled text]' Is this them signing their work? Is this a reference to their first video? The garbled text almost makes me want to say they're singing their work. But what freaking code are they using to disguise their name? Are they even using their name?
Also, first vid since Jay's disappearance (assuming he isn't dead since he technically didn't die and was taken) Since Hoody apparently set Alex free to shoot Jay. This vid comes off with a sad/depressed tone. Is he/she upset that they let Alex loose or that Jay is in mortal peril if not deceased?

You're right, there is something there playing in the audio track. There's the typical kind of like...muted...sounds that're in TTA vids, something that could be a train, or a scream, I can't really make anything else out. Granted I'm 50% deaf so I'm a bad one to try to figure that out. If someone with better hearing wants to contribute please do. Gotta try to do this ourselves since TTADecoded either gave up or is most likely dead.

I saw someone at school today wearing a bright yellow hoodie with a black mouth mask and I thought it was Hoodie (or a cosplay) for a _split second._ Before I acknowledged it was a mouth mask and not a ski mask.

It said Brian for a split second after it said regards and showed Hoody's face at :35. So that answers who Hoody is, the other question now is if Hoody is Totheark, or if Totheark is someone else. Because the Jay theory is now disproven because he's probably dead. Totheark is either Amy, Sarah, Tim, or an alternate personality of Alex, like Tim and Masky. The two I'm thinking are most probable are Amy or split personality Alex. Because it's been discreetly mentioned in this channel and in Marble Hornets that Alex drowned Sarah in a lake. What happened to Amy after she saw the Operator is still a mystery. Tim seems like he's dead, as well. And Alex could very well have a split personality like Tim did and Jay did towards the end. So Totheark is either Amy or Alex, probably Amy.
Remember when Alex attacked Hoody for info about whhere Jay and Tim went? Couldn't be a split personality of Alex.
Just because it said Brian, doesn't confirm it, but it is probably Brian. Although it is confirmed that TTA is *not* Hoody Or masky he is "The Third". We can also sespect that its not Alex, or the operator, because Masky and Hoody are in the videos to much, and Alex and the operator is ageist Hoody and Masky. There is a chance that it could be Jessica, because in one of the entry's (forget what one) Hoody saves Jess from Alex who was about to shoot her. She could of been playing dumb the whole time, but also note that Masky and Hoody kidnapped her (I think), but that could of been staged to look more real. Also note TTA could possibly be someone who has not been showed yet, but I do believe we will be knowing very soon.

Technically, we don't know that. While Tim went off the handle a while back, Brian never seemed to lose it like Tim did. Nor did he have much/no connection to the Operator.
so he disappears while the operator is around and later a masked guy shows up dressed like him to serve the operator...
That's because Brian made this one on the channel. I found that out because on one of the pages when the codes were going by a frown showed up on the screen. How I know is because I was writing down the codes.
I just checked every frame, and I'm positive I do NOT see the word "Brian" on there.
There is a word IA(X)NR, which if you replace the operator symbol (X) with a B, it's an anagram for Brian, but that's still a bit too vague.
Note that it ends with the word “regards”.

***** If Jay has survived this entire encounter, losing his memory, dealing with the Operator, etc., and still consistently chooses to find out the truth, he'll probably be alive. He's the most resilient character through the series.
He is the main character, he will not die before the series ends, I'm completely fine with him dying at the end though.
