Nazlı (Özge Gürel), who wants to become a professional cook, dreams of opening her own restaurant by learning Japanese cuisine. @@bubbalucia6448 I believe Ferit respects his mother a great deal but he still feels hurt by the past and they have a patriarchal system that is still VERY strong in their culture so it doesn't matter that her mistakes are in the past. He is a man and he has the right to feel hurt and to hold the grudge for as long as he sees fit.
agreed about the cultural aspects.....ferit's personality is rigid and unyielding. he doesn't soften up until nazli's influence.....because of what he didn't know (his father killing the hakan's father)....missing that key ingredient, that key piece of the puzzle, ferit only knew his mother committed adultery.....in perochial, patriarchal families that is akin to high treason....and unforgiveable.....in some societies, it would warrant an 'honour killing'....so, respectfully, he never forgave and lost trust and respect for her. he did respect her position as the matriarch for his sister's sake, though....but internally, he had very little to do with his mother. his love and protection was reserved for his father...@@JoseaneBatista-c8d
Personally Ferits mother is toxic. It's good for him to put her in place. I'm happy for Nazli and Ferit. I believe they are decent people. Love this series 😀 . I'm thinking a male wrote this story! Just a thought 🤔❤ Ozgy Gurel and Can Yamen are so natural in this series 😻❤

They did another series called Bay Yanlis (Mr. Wrong) available here on RUclips. It's only 14 episodes after which it was cancelled, I think because Can Yaman was too outspoken, but not sure. Afterwards he moved to Italy and has been there ever since doing 2 seasons of Viola Come il Mare in Italian, El Turco for Disney in English and currently filming Sandokan, I believe in English.
Still in Iznik in the resto beside the sea when Ferit said "As you wish my love, love of my life, my beautiful wife" while Ferit is staring at Nazli. It's just not stare, it's the stare of love and passion. If Nazli could only melt. Ferit becomes so romantic.🥰🥰🥰

I was in too deep into nazli and ferit’s bubble love that I didn’t care about hakans schemes, Asuman being a magnet for problems and fatos being so damn annoying regarding Tarik and manamis fling. She cared about Engin, when they finally were together she decided she didn’t want him anymore. Then, Tarik confessed his feelings for her, she didn’t want him because she only see him as friend and when tarik moves on she wants him? Girl, just get a grip

Ferit did the right thing by putting his mother in her place, there is no reason for her to disrespect Nazli. What she should have done is get to know Nazli just by observing her instead of disrespecting her, firing the nanny and getting involved in the house affairs.

It’s strange that Ferit’s mother couldn’t get him to agree to have breakfast in the earlier episodes but in this episode she moves into his home, brings in staff and basically feels like she can make the rules. It’s surprising how the writers have changed this relationship so drastically. I don’t think this is something Ferit would have allowed to happen so easily

Goes to show how much ferit was confiding and telling her intimate details about his life even early on. Ms.leman was surprised he would even tell her about such things involving his childhood or anything about his past. He more than likely has only told a few people the story about his piano lessons.

This actress can not show any emotion on her face while in romantic scenes. She just smiles and has a blank stare, doesn't convey any particular emotion. By looking at her you cannot tell if she talks with a friend, a brother or a beloved husband. She has same neutral facial expressions with everybody she interacts.

I don't like the way Fatos treat Manami like, she's the one who ask Manami to be close with Tarik as a couple at first but when it's happen she's start to getting jealous of them, after all Manami is her friends too but the way she backstab her with that jealousy feeling of her is just so uncomfortable to watch, it's getting on my nerves 🙄🙄🙄

Yes. The situation with the guy’s mother comes up a lot in these dizis. Oftentimes, the leading man doesn’t tell his mother off strongly enough, usually because of the expected respect for your parents issue that is so important in Turkish culture, and the poor girl is persecuted by the mother-in-law for some time before the guy steps up and puts mom in her place. It drives me crazy, because the man is so strong in all areas of his life except when it comes to the mother! What’s up with that?? I was happy when I first watched Dolunay and saw that Ferit would support Nazli against his mother. Yay, Ferit!

It chills me that MILs are regularly so awful in these shows--is it art imitating life or just an exaggeration or stereotype? I know there's the typical trope of the MIL who is a b**ch, not only in these shows but in lots of others and in books, and in real life, too, but it always bothers me anytime I see or hear it. And the diziz do often take it to the extreme. I'm a great MIL, and my own MIL was a sweetheart to me!

Where is the kitchen counter scene? Me, I love the 36.17 and 38.12 that's the best scenes for me. I love how they uttered the sweet wordings while so close like inhaling each others breath while staring in each other eyes and rubbing their nose before they kiss. This scenes are so natural it's like so real specially when Ferit said "what do you see?". My gosh I melt in my chair while watching.🥰🥰🥰
