The blood may be washed off, but you bet that smell is gonna stick around

I see this explanation all over the internet. Think about it every time a new person dies wouldn't they then have the same traits? Because they're fresh.
The clocks stopped at the same time because in most public places all clocks are linked to a central server, so it makes sense that they all stopped at the exact same time
@@harrym1862 idk what kinda fucking high tech school you are talking about but here in almost every American school clocks are simply battery powered and most are off by minute or two with most not even telling the exactly the same time. @@Bms010 I don't know what school you went to, but at mine they worked exactly as OP described. There were multiple times in four years where the system stopped working and all the clocks stopped simultaneously, with the exception of any clocks the teachers put up themselves.
It’s almost like AMC didn’t know how they wanted the zombies to be... since it was a new series and all. Or you could interpret it as the zombies were more humanlike because they had recently been turned into zombies and later in the season they become slower and more dead-like as they’ve been dead LONGER. Either AMC is really smart or honestly didn’t know what they were doing
Someone said that they specifically made season one zombies to seem smart to show that they have recently turned and have retained some combination of muscle memory and certain things they did while human. The reason we don't see newer walkers do smart things is because they re put down as soon as they appear on screen. This is backed up by a zombie in The Walking Dead Game Season 4 episode4, which seems to be fidgeting, as was the habit of the person before reanimation
You forgot that when he runs into Glenn, he actually fires the gun but it clicks as if he’s out of bullets but later when they’re both running down the alley, the guns works perfectly.
There are so many gun goofs on this show it's hard to keep track. Bad or no recoil, endless ammo (my pet peeve), head shots by amateur shooters (head shots are extremely difficult in real life on a moving target), etc. And don't get me started about the gasoline.
Actually, it's pretty cool seeing the first walkers having some memories, like the girl picking her teddy bear and Morgan's wife trying to open the door, it's so sad...
It would have been far more interesting if there were zombies with varying abilities. Make for much more interesting plots if some of them were still somewhat intelligent.
I originally thought the clocks stopping at the same time was weird. It turns out an explosion during Shane's flashback at the hospital is the cause of the clocks stopping.
There shouldn't be a sin at 1:04. The reason she picked up the Teddy was because this was only 2 months after the apocalypse started. Most zombies at that time still had human characteristics. Just pointing it out. Edit: Shit, it's been 2 (3 now) years since i commented this, and I can't believe that it got almost 350 likes. Thanks, I guess?
It's not a sleeping zombie you that have you ever watched the show or the webisodes and there isn't any reason to close a door either if it's the apocalypse
Really poorly made video. Many things they point out have actual explanations within the show, both, explicit and implicit. Lori left in a hurry, that's why she didn't close the door. Rick noticed there was no point in closing the door in a house that's now just a bunch of empty rooms in a dead neighbourhood. Rick didn't try to take a military vehicle due to the fact that he was unaware of the situation. Like it's shown, he JUST woke up. "Can I borrow some gas", he doesn't know there's no use at all in buying anymore. He's being polite. Lori INTENTIONALLY went out of screaming range due to what happens later on (secret romances aren't all that secret when you bang in front of your child) Rick screamed RUN due to the heat of the moment. He wasn't gonna stay chill and say "ah, we should probably outrun the dead" when there are lots of them surrounding him! Merle OBVIOUSLY saw T-Dog falling, but he's so oblivious and self centered (and racist, by the way), that he wasn't gonna be polite and say "No probs m8. All good. Have a great time living!" This video is really poor quality.
When Lori said to Daryl: "He's going to show you, isn't he?" It was meant ironic and pissed off. She didn't change her mind, she knew Rick would do it, so that's just her stating it bitterly. That's why she's also arguing with Rick later on. See video on 14:05
2:45 I don't think Shane was starting to have a sexual relationship with Lori until after he'd barricaded Rick in his hospital room towards the beginning of the end, and figured he had died.
You forgot one The fact that rick was in a coma for around 60 days with no doctors but still managed to survive Edit: Ty for telling me about it being cleared up

Ascuncion Famliy yeah and he makes shitty jokes & adds a sin for it. If he’s going to rip off another creator down to the sound effects, at least stay consistent. Sinning the show for his own dry humor is very sinful
I've always had this weird impression that TWD time-line was thought 'backwards' : suddenly, after 2/3 months of civilization collapse, the group was left alone in the nature, without meeting any soul for quite a while. Then the farm with 3 people in it, then several locations (Woodbury, prison, terminus, Alexandria, sanctuary, kingdom, oceanside), with less than 100 people in each. And out of the blue, ten years into the apocalypse, sophisticated and powerful communities with thousands of people mushroom here and there (Commonwealth, CRM, the University in World Beyond, the group Michonne encountered...)?? Wouldn't have it been more logical if things had occurred the other way around? 🤷♂️
They have moved around a good bit. So maybe those communities like the Commonwealth were there from the start because that area was able to defend or create itself faster or better and the areas where the cast is at didn't do that. At the end of the day would the show be as interesting if for the first season or more the cast was in a place safe like Commonwealth and then leave for whatever reason?
How about the fact rick knows police style take downs and tackles but he fails to use them after the first season even when he's attacked by skinny white guys.
Ive never met a woman who knew how to turn off a light either. I think my wife was only taught the switch goes in one direction. She passed it on to my daughter. We live in the American South, so maybe is a regional phenomenon.
When Shane goes to Lori at the school, he never says anything about Rick being shot...then Lori says to Shane " How do I tell my son his father's been shot". This always bothered me!!
She asked if he was alive, then asked what it was, then shane told her what happened she didn't just out of nowhere and said "yep he's shot and maybe dead"
2019 and the walker have gotten A LOT slower since the show started. I actually forgot they were able to climb shit and run fast in the beginning. And the one using a rock to try to break a window? WTF
That was because they had Frank Darabont as part of making the series and he had the idea of making zombies intelligent, then they fired him cuz they wanted the traditional slow and dumb zombies
Military vehicles (well, the trucks anyway) don’t use keys. They have a start button inside. Even the old ones from Vietnam. Drove those shitty things for five years. He could have gotten into almost any of them.
You know what I have a problem with? How come the third guy in the car decided to shoot? Why didn't he just sneak away? He knew they were gonna kill him. He should have just crawled away. Also, I wish Frank was still on the show. I liked how the zombies used to be portrayed. They could climb, use weapons, pick things up, try to open door knobs, and run. But Glenn couldn't roll up his window because Rick broke the window open to get into it. Why didn't he give him the nickname "sheriff." Or something police related. Also why didn't Amy just pull her fucking arm away????? It's not like he was fast and just came out of nowhere. She literally stood there and watched him grab her arm and bite down. Human reaction is to flinch and react. Especially when they are a scary ass zombie.
Bridget hammond actually walkers can't run they are called WALKers for a reason and they only picked up stuff in the beginning because if u watched the cdc episode it explains that at the beginning zombies were smarter but now their little bit of brain function is disappearing as they decay
Bridget hammond Zombies using weapons and trying to bust glass with rocks are not zombies. Especially after all things the Dr said in episode 6. They're not intelligent enough.
Lizeth Hernandez That's actually not what he was implying. They were never "smart". Just their motor functions are reanimated. Running, yeah maybe they could do that. But using weapons, hell no.
the reason the zombies are more lifelike in season one is because frank derabot directed it and in his original way of directing the walkers. it also had a bigger budget so thats why u see the big cityscapes and everything in season one, but not in season 2 because frank left the show after amc cut his budget.
Or the sound of Andrea racking the slide of her gun while holding it in one hand. So many gun related goofs in this show. Infinite ammo, miraculous headshots, no hearing protection (they'd all be fucking deaf by the end of the first season).
actually now that i think about it the running zombies kinda make since, theyre fresh zombies and i guess they still have all their intact limbs and stuff. and later when theyre all decayed they cant run since they have destroyed legs and stuff, just a guess
Blank Blank quit being a fucking idiot, the show runner just changed that's why otherwise the recent survivors that got killed recently would have done the same thing
The walkers were actually quite intelligent in the first season, but were nerfed to become more like “typical” zombies by the new show runner. The official explanation is that they were still “fresh,” only dying a few weeks before, and can still have a few normal human functionalities.
They explain why theres not that much blood on the roof in literally the next episode. He cut off his curculation with his belt. Dude your really bad at cinema sins.

skankhunt 42, but then why don't People who were just killed and turned into walkers, RUN. Because later in the show people who just turned Into walkers still walk. Still doesn't make sense
+Owen Milton they got different showrunners. the first wanted "smart" walkers and let them run. when he left the new one took a different approach to walkers
Zombies are always decaying, with the fact how can a zombie run even less walk with their muscle and flesh rotting away? The Zombie virus needs a host to spread and while the virus is already inside you it is being fought off by the good bacteria we have. After someone dies and the brain dies it no longer need good bacteria and the virus takes over the cerebrum and reanimates the brain so it can spread itself. When someone is bitten the zombie virus is already alive it reaches the cerebrum to shut it down which kill the host and it begins the process again.
The only reason the walkers can run in the beginning is because the bodies have just died, and can move easily, rather later their bodies have died down a bit,
The showrunners has changed and the first showrunner of the show had a different image of zombies in his head then the other. That's it, no decaying, just different showrunners.
I do find it weird that two of the zombies in this season have some shred of intelligence INCLUDING the girl and the zombie breaking the window with a brick
While watching the show I never understood the little girl zombie it's been a while since I watched it but I remember Rick shooting the girl zombie came before the events of the series but when Rick wakes up from the coma Morgan has to explain that the people are dead idk if what I'm saying makes sense but oh well

I think a lot of the Walker's actions in season 1 are due to the fact that the virus is still new and the walkers (remember they never say zombie) are not as aged... With that being said, they will lose a lot of motor skills and human functions as they age and slowly deteriorate. There are a lot of good observations you have pointed out, I like your style.
The book series Rot N Ruin (or something to that effect) played by this logic too. The newer zombies had basic motor functions and "logic", such as turning door knobs, using weapons, etc. It was described as "The brain stem hasn't broken down yet" the older the zombies, the dumber.

Explaining why the dude can take a rock and start going ham and cheese or the window at the Atlanta shopping center and why that girl can pick up the teddie bear.
It honestly makes the zombies so much more compelling than they are now smh
Keeping that would've added so much interesting drama later on in the show.
And why Morgan’s reanimated wife was able to turn a doorknob
I like that they come back around to that idea during woodbury when they're testing to see if the biters have any memory from before transformation
@_ dude forgot what a fucking doorknob is
I like to think that in the beginning of the outbreak, walkers were more aware of things such as being able to pick things up and climb but over time the virus deteriorates their mind even more making them less aware and slower (unless they're in hordes of course).
That doesn’t make sense because of the amount of people that have died and turned into regular walkers immediately
+ only some walkers are smart called variant walkers
*no one in the thumbnail is still on the show* 😞
Wow
Shit that’s true
Rick was the last man standing
Well Rick is in a hospital somewhere
except for rick but ok
season 1 had a director that wanted to make zombies smarter than they were in the comics, he got fired before the next season. that's why they can run and climb in season 1 and can't in any other
i actually liked that, since it makes more sense, that the zombie epidemy could happen. if only zombies could walk towards you they should be easy to avoid and for the military to kill

@@ElementVoidX I like it, but biologicly it doesn't make any sense, unless they actually are alive. So how come that exacly no one got bitten when they can't even survive 4 zombies at once

@@heresnegan6825 if you pay attention to the end of season nine he didn’t die and Anne took him in the helicopter and for the teaser of season eleven you see that same helicopter and over a hospital, it could possibly be the hospital Rick was in at the start of season one and he imagined all of it. Season eleven is supposed to be the last season so I believe that either all of the walkers would have died and humanity was saved or that Rick wakes up and and realizes he is still in the hospital. And I heard that they are making a movie about TWD so I believe that the theory is still going on.

Either AMC is really smart or honestly didn’t know what they were doing
Maddie Hochanadel no the directors changed so zombies also changed
Someone said that they specifically made season one zombies to seem smart to show that they have recently turned and have retained some combination of muscle memory and certain things they did while human. The reason we don't see newer walkers do smart things is because they re put down as soon as they appear on screen.
Lori INTENTIONALLY went out of screaming range due to what happens later on (secret romances aren't all that secret when you bang in front of your child)
Rick screamed RUN due to the heat of the moment.
All good. Have a great time living!"
This video is really poor quality.
It is a joke wow
When Lori said to Daryl: "He's going to show you, isn't he?" It was meant ironic and pissed off. She didn't change her mind, she knew Rick would do it, so that's just her stating it bitterly. That's why she's also arguing with Rick later on.

That's a really good point. I guess it depends on how many people were wiped out in in the plague.

The showrunners has changed and the first showrunner of the show had a different image of zombies in his head then the other. That's it, no decaying, just different showrunners.
At least someone is paying attention
U forgot when Lori said that women need to do domestic chores
She was right about that.
10:28 he didnt have his windows rolled down, rick broke it.
Nathan I mean the passenger doesn’t matter anyways because they wont climb in or reach....
There was a helicopter. You could see it’s reflection in the building
I do find it weird that two of the zombies in this season have some shred of intelligence INCLUDING the girl and the zombie breaking the window with a brick
The director did have a way of explaining it by saying that they were recently turned and had a bit more intelligence than other zombies.
they were fresh
While watching the show I never understood the little girl zombie it's been a while since I watched it but I remember Rick shooting the girl zombie came before the events of the series but when Rick wakes up from the coma Morgan has to explain that the people are dead idk if what I'm saying makes sense but oh well
@@CandySouvannarangsy3187 the walkers just started so she could have been fresh
@@daryldixon7187 no I meant that he shot her before the scene where he gets shot on duty and the coma happened but I looked into it and I guess that maybe the zombie girl scene is a flash forward while he was on the road looking for his family after leaving Morgan and Morgan's son
Lol first season was a BIG MESS even they admit to it but it's still funny to watch
Season 1 was the best
Christina Valle Big mess? You’re crazy
L.T Gamers Well considering the walkers are completely different than all the other seasons I wouldn’t disagree on that so much
season 1 was the best it actually had story and substance not just the same storyline over and over - Frank Darabont had better ideas
@@Pretty.Biology.Princess this season was the weakest it only had six episodes and only 3 of them were good and that would be the first 2 and the finale and they are not the same stories actually pay attention to the show and you'll notice that the whisperers story is completely different from Negan's or the governor's
Some of these are "sins" and some are the creator of this video failing to understand what's being said or what's happening in the story.
Such as...
Um... It says in the intro that this is for Comedy purposes. :3
Such as the zombies in season one ain’t decaying yet which therefore explains why they can run and climb
T.V Sins such as when lori left her house’s door open, why would she close it? its later said that shane got lori and carl out in a hurry so obviously she just couldve forgotten to close it, i mean how important can closing a door be during the apocalypse?
Alot of them
When Andrrea asked if taking the necklace would be concerned looting 😱 LOL
They're there to take stuff ..why ask ? LMAO
It was described as "The brain stem hasn't broken down yet" the older the zombies, the dumber.
so every person who died later in the apocalypse shouldve turned into a smart walker first but that doesnt happen. cool theory but doesnt apply
Those clocks are wired to the building therefore will stop at the same time the building loosest power
Since when are regular clocks wired into walls? They just have batteries
@@trumanphillips4985 yeah and batteries run out of power to
@@mikagrof9243 yes eventually but usually batteries in clocks/watches will last years
MikaGrof yea but they ran out of the same time.
@@trumanphillips4985 Hospital clocks do this. They're wired to the building so they're all synchronized to be the exact same time. I don't think this happens in every hospital though. It's to help staff with timing essential to the care of specific patients.
Mann I miss this show. Binged it and caught up to the recent season. Only taking 7 days and am already missing it.
I'm honestly so upset that they're ending the season on season 11, it's v sad.(yes I'm aware im a year late lmao)
"Why would you assume he imagined it (the helicopter)?"
Gee, I don't know. Maybe its because A. They never saw it, B. They just met him, C. He's the first person they've met not part of the group in what is presumably months, and D. They didn't see it.
