The piano definitely isn't the most versatile instrument out there. Guitars beat them by song shot, considering all the different genres they can be used for, the magnitude of different sounds, and of course vibratos which aren't really a thing on pianos

I always get a strong reaction when I play "Needle in the Hay" riff on piano. You can give it a lot of bass and make it sound very ominous too!
