was contemplating buying this so looked up reviews and to my joy your vid popped up as the second one in the search. I freaking hate looking through a shitty video to find out whether this sorta thing is good or not, and with your vids its the exact opposite. Every vid i've seen of yours have been infinitely more enjoyable to watch, even had i not had any interest in the product what so ever. Keep up the good work man, you're killing it
Sick dude! I'm surprised more people don't use the dual handle on the Zhiyun. I use it specially when shooting outside during the day, so I can mount my SmallHD Focus to it and see much better in the sunlight. I even have the remote attached to it (although I don't actually use it too often). Good stuff man, keep it up!
Watched a couple of your videos bro, great content. Looking at purchasing this crane within the next few days. Wasn't sure if getting the dual handle would be worth it, but after watching this, I'm tacking it on.
Thanks a lot for this amazing and informative Video, you did a great job 👍 I also thought about getting a dual handle grip for my Zhiyun Crane 2 Gimbal one lately, and your video has strengthened me in it again substantially !
Nice content on your channel Daniel! I've got this exact Crane and Dual Handle setup. It's so good! My arm still gets tired if using it too long! Too long meaning 5 minutes, ha
I have the same exact set up but I have never gotten into using the dual handles! They just sit there brand-new on used. I’ll have to have another look and try it again. Quick question, what about focus: do you still use manual focus or do you switch to autofocus?
Hey man really great video actually they're all great but I was wondering why you went for the crane over the ronin? Was it because you thought the weight would be too much as you said at the start? Or is there another reason - I'd love your opinion on this as I think either way it's a big investment and want to chose the right one also this is for various use (real estate, commercial, music videos etc. )
Hey man im facing the same exact decision right now! what choice did you make? do you think this combination can hold an A7ii w/ G-master lens and still deliver buttery smooth shots?
Hi Daniel, beautiful shots! I just got the Crane 2 with the handles and can't for the life of me get them on, they're incredibly tight and won't fit over the knurled sections on the handle. Did you have any problems attaching the crossbar, or have any tips on how to make it so I don't have to wrestle with it every time?
I’m trying to buy the new handle grip. I bought one In Cape Town South Africa had to return back because it didn’t fit.. the link you share doesn’t have the new crane 2 dual handle grip. I’m looking for the new handle grip. I’m base in South Africa.
hey daniel! do you know more about some software issues they have right now? i bought mine and luckily i never updated any firmware so i don't have problems, but you read a lot problems going on right now...when will the follow focus be compatible with other cameras than canon...? cheers and much appreciation for this informative video!
Try curling for 7 hours straight) I used Crane2 with Sony A7 two weeks ago on a wedding for a full day, so my right hand was dead for almost a week. Dual Handle is a MUST!
Hi Daniel, just wondering if you can tell me what lens you used to shoot these shots? I've just bought the sony a7iii and looking to get a good lens that will enable me to get nice wide-ish B-roll shots! Thank you so much, awesome content as always (just bought both the crane and the handle after this video!)
Hey Daniel, always enjoy your content. You do a great job of keeping it short and to the point. I've watched this video many months ago, but now I'm thinking of getting the Dual Handle. A few questions: Are you stop/starting from the Crane handle and then going back to the Dual Handle? I guess when you're using the handle you're not doing any joystick movements?
Nice video man! Which lens were you using for these shots? :) I'm interested into getting the 30mm, but would prefer having something that also works with m a7rII. My Crane Plus + the dual handle just arrived today; Can't wait to start using them!
What focus mode do you mainly recommend when shooting with a gimbal? I have the Zhiyun Servo Follow Focus, but in some situations let say I don't have the time to set it up and I just want to be able to just swap lenses, calibrate, and get back to shooting. Just curious on your answer to this since I am use to shooting in MF all the time, and this is my first time ever using a gimbal as well.
Do dual handles actually make the footage smoother? I've only been using the gimbal and never considered getting dual handles because it didnt seem like it would benefit me, only slow things down by having extra parts to setup, and possibly making it a bit more comfortable, but thats about it
Do you know if this is compatible with the V2 (really confusing that they have the Crane 2 and the Crane V2) or is there another one for the V2? Great video btw, learning a lot from your videos! :)
I bought the dual handle. But I noticed that when I tried to put it on, it was so tight, I was afraid the ring plastic that comes with it would break. Any tips?
I really dont like the grading tho the blacks are way the too crushed making it look kinda cheap. if you would dial the contrast and opacity of the lut down it would look way better in my opinion. anyways thanks for the review :)
Have you had any issues with the dual handle slipping when you tilt the fumble forward or backward? I’ve tightened as much as I can and I’m still having issues.
BRO pleaseee Daniel, i have the exact same camera a6300 with kitlens , but my videos don't have the same quality has yours, why? I do 120fps 1080p with 100mbs and export with h264 max settings CBR at max why??? when i upload at youtube it just destroys the footage
Hey Daniel, it seems that the focus wheel is out of reach when using the dual handle. Is there a way to still operate the follow focus motor while shooting this way?
René van Ballegooijen I’m not Daniel lol but hopefully I can help out. I’d say the best option is the remote that you can buy separately for the follow focus (if you have to be holding the dual handle throughout the whole shot). Also, he did mention that the setup is still quite lightweight, so you might be able to control the focus with one hand whilst holding the handle with the other.
The dual handle would be great for a wedding because if you didn't use the dual handle your back and arms will be very sore at the end! The remote would definitely help as well!
The dual grip is definitely on my list!!! I think I'm gonna throw a 5" monitor as well, we'll see. BTW, thanks Daniel for the answers and congrats on the content, always very good, informative and generating value. Keep up!
I'm sold. My forearms are fragged after shooting all morning with the Zhiyun Crane 2, 6D MII and 24-70 2.8.
I thought he was going to fall over at 1:35 😂 ... I really like the tone this video took... Soothing and very interesting to watch!
Love this video so much. If I ever decide to pursue this youtube thing, this is exactly the look I am going for. Awesome video dude
Hey daniel... Man you are now my favourite photographer and videographer. Your videos are very detailed... Loved it.... Thanks for comming to RUclips.

Awesome and thanks! Now I'm definitely getting the dual handles for my crane 2!
You should do a video of the zhiyun crane 2 settings that's you use 👍🏼👍🏼
Yo the grade on these shots are 🔥🔥🔥 awesome job man
what lens did you have while filming this video?
Can you do a video about why you prefer using a gimbal vs using a glidecam? Thanks!!
Watched a couple of your videos bro, great content. Looking at purchasing this crane within the next few days. Wasn't sure if getting the dual handle would be worth it, but after watching this, I'm tacking it on.
Thanks a lot for this amazing and informative Video, you did a great job 👍
I also thought about getting a dual handle grip for my Zhiyun Crane 2 Gimbal one lately, and your video has strengthened me in it again substantially !
Looks great! Is this all gimbal or is there IS (image stabilization) in camera/lens, or in post? Is the gimbal smooth enough for realtime? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge - you have a great style!
Awesome Video! I hope that you have tutorials about calibrations of zhiyun crane 2
awesome stuff! I can't wait for your video announcing who won the giveaways! I really wish I'll get the crane 2. That would be a dream come true
Yeah that will be our next investment after getting a better camera! This was a great review! :)
Dope vid as always. I was wondering what you were shooting with that white background setup when you were on Instagram live : )
Great video man, you should make a video about your a6300
Cool I was wondering if the dual handles are worth it.
This Gimbil is So Perfect I want this because one only thing is missing in my kit is The gimbil.. 😊🙏😛
Nice content on your channel Daniel!
I've got this exact Crane and Dual Handle setup. It's so good!
My arm still gets tired if using it too long! Too long meaning 5 minutes, ha
great video man! you've convinced me to buy it
This gimpal is awesome 😍 I like it
Great content, thankyou. Would love to see a crane 2 vs crane plus video from you. Also the new hand grip now out for these gimbals.
All valid points. Thanks for the presentation. 👍🏻
I have the same exact set up but I have never gotten into using the dual handles! They just sit there brand-new on used. I’ll have to have another look and try it again. Quick question, what about focus: do you still use manual focus or do you switch to autofocus?
Great video. I was curious if you had a SmallHD focus how would you attach it to this setup?
I reaallly want the zhiyun crane 😍

Dope! curious are you on Auto Focus or Manual by setting your marks?
Too late to comment this time . I was in Goa so a bit busy btw thanks again for this video
Solid vid bro!
Mine is smaller or what is the trick to put on zhiyun crane 2?
Got this but on heavy gear the hands will slide down when using it horizontally. Terrible
Great review dude!

Hi, does it fit on the Weebill Lab please?
So informative and nicely put out 😍 want this gear so much
*OMG THIS LOOKS SO GOOOD*

cheers and much appreciation for this informative video!
If you curl the 50s for sets of 10, you might be jacked enough not to need the handles 💪🏻
Try curling for 7 hours straight) I used Crane2 with Sony A7 two weeks ago on a wedding for a full day, so my right hand was dead for almost a week. Dual Handle is a MUST!
@@orlov_alex 😯
I'm using this gimbal but when I using orbit shot, gimbal not move around imediately, can you share your setting in orbit shot

My Crane Plus + the dual handle just arrived today; Can't wait to start using them!
Please make a tutorial for the transition at the beginning!!!
Will these handles work for the original Zhiyun Crane? I was gifted that and can't afford the 2 right now.
You think getting the monitor for this set up is a good idea?
What focus mode do you mainly recommend when shooting with a gimbal? I have the Zhiyun Servo Follow Focus, but in some situations let say I don't have the time to set it up and I just want to be able to just swap lenses, calibrate, and get back to shooting. Just subscribed bro love your videos I plan on getting into video a lot more soon have u tried the Dji Ronin S

Dopeee 🙌🏻
Thanks buddy! Always looking forward to more content from you!

Hi. above the handles is the 1/4 connection to screw an additional monitor? Thank you
Witch gimbal-setting did you use in the gym? PF, L or F ?
Can this go with the beholder Ec1 ?
How do you deflicker your shots, what soft? Thanks
great video love the comp
Do you typically have your video on auto focus or do you manual focus?
DOpe!!! Thanks for sharing. Thinking I should trade in my Crane V2. Would it hold a 70d or C100?
I've seen some people with RED cameras on the crane 2 so I would think so!
NICE!!!
Could you post your settings for Crane 2, if you tweaked them via ZY Play?
How do you focus when using the dual handle?
do your bars on the side of the handle move? my handles on the dual grip bar still move despite being made tight as possible...
COOL
You said you shot in 120 inside and I see you don't have any flicker, what shutter speed did you used?
Nice video. Keep it up!
i believe it was 1/250. The lack of flicker is because this gym uses LED's as their lighting I believe
Oh, oke. Now makes more sens to me. Because if you were shooting at 1/100 there should've been some motion blurr here and there. Thaks for replying!
What Mode do you shoot in the most on your crane 2?
But is this setup good enough to have really smooth shots in real time?
I really dont like the grading tho the blacks are way the too crushed making it look kinda cheap. if you would dial the contrast and opacity of the lut down it would look way better in my opinion. anyways thanks for the review :)
Which dual handle will work with my zhiyun crane plus?
This dual handle fits in *Zhiyun crane 2S*?
can it be used for other gimbals? like Feiyu?
What setting are you using on the Sony!!
Have you had any issues with the dual handle slipping when you tilt the fumble forward or backward? I’ve tightened as much as I can and I’m still having issues.
Did you shoot most of this footage in 60fps?
BRO pleaseee Daniel, i have the exact same camera a6300 with kitlens , but my videos don't have the same quality has yours, why? I do 120fps 1080p with 100mbs and export with h264 max settings CBR at max why??? when i upload at youtube it just destroys the footage
That's the b roll from yesterday's insta live😀👌
Code wasn’t working bro! Was trying to use your link and code to support the channel! Lmk if you figure it out
Thanks for letting me know, I'm trying to figure that out now!
Hey Daniel, it seems that the focus wheel is out of reach when using the dual handle. Is there a way to still operate the follow focus motor while shooting this way?

Can I use the Zhiyun Smooth 4 with this handle?
good video. straight forward.
Do you have any experience shooting with the sigma 18-35 f1.8? I would love to hear ur thoughts about it!
BSØNG solid lens! My brother has it, amazing bokeh & focal length although it’s heavy as fuuuuuuuuu**
did ya used the sigma 16mm for this video?
Thanks for your helpful Info
love it bro
What is ur gimbal set up in PF Or F ??
hey man are you using manual focusing or auto focusing on this video ?
i can not find this item anymore :(
Is this dual handle useable with zhiyun crane plus?
can we use this handle for smooth Q2 ?? Its urgent please back to me
Well guys, isnt a 100$ lots for a handle.. i would love to have it too, but wow. May be bike handles could help?
It's not a 4th axis?
Lovvveee it 👌🏼
Good shoots men
Can I use this with smooth Q?
you should get the remote to.
Have you thought about getting the remote? Cause as long as you have both of yours hands busy, you gonna lose some control. What do you think?
I've considered getting the remote, but there so far hasn't been any immediate urgency, I usually set the cameras angle before I start recording.
But do you think at an environment where you don't have much time to think (wedding) would be welcome?
The dual handle would be great for a wedding because if you didn't use the dual handle your back and arms will be very sore at the end! The remote would definitely help as well!
The dual grip is definitely on my list!!! I think I'm gonna throw a 5" monitor as well, we'll see. BTW, thanks Daniel for the answers and congrats on the content, always very good, informative and generating value. Keep up!
