This is super cool, yes a lot going on but I like the package as a whole. I like the color, camo dial, the flipped movement putting the day date at 0900, the chrono pushers at 8 &10. And you’re right, excellent Lume for a Hamilton. Thanks for bringing this watch to my attention.

Funny because I’m in the process of producing a video that highlights the quirkiness of Hamilton. The color combo is nice and unique. The lume is the best I’ve seen with Hamilton.

I have an earlier version of this, around 15 years. I love it despite it wearing really large. One word of caution, I'm about to take it in for it's second repair of the main crown (time adjust). Nearly 10 years ago, it would no longer screw down, as though it were stripped. Now, it screws down and while I can pull it fully out to set the time, I can no longer set the day/date.
First repair was a full service by Swatch group and it was around $400. Watch looked like new when I picked it up. This time I'm going to try a reputable independent shop in Toronto.

Man I'm tempted. I love watch complications. I've had people ask me about my watches in bars, it usually goes like this: "Stranger: Wow, nice watch! Me: Thanks. Stranger: What can it do? Me: I have no idea, but it sure looks cool while its doing it!"

No, you wouldn't use this in flight, but you wouldn't use your E6-B in flight either. You use something like this while preflight planning, and you absolutely COULD use this to calculate your wind correction angle! You make it seem as though this is completely useless, and although we do have digital flight computers and such, if you suddenly realize you've forgotten yours(ahem), it works very well. If you aren't an actual pilot this IS just a cool looking conversation starter, but rest assured, it is indeed functional!!

Quick question, there is this one and the Olive drab one. This one, the rose gold, is a lot more expensive than the OD green. Like at least $500 USD. Any reason why? Just the finish/color?
I believe it's just the coating and the dial that's different. Seems like all the new models are getting a price increase.

I mean, No one needs a watch do they ? No one needs a chronograph either. Most people who own gmt watches don't set them when they're abroad, so... I guess who cares 🙃
