Thank you very much for your enriched content. Can I ask about the value of p1.p2.p3 when all the relationships are significant? In my case, I got p1 negative, p2 positive, and p3 negative. The final value of multiplication is positive. Then, is it complementary mediation?
Greetings sir How should I run mediation if I have two meditators Like in X->x1->x2->z Now in this I have two x1 and x2 mediators between x&z So shall I report it same way as specific indirect effect like one in mediator case
Thank you sir for this video, i have one question, if my model don't have direct effect whereas indirect effect is significant, Can I conclude it full mediation ? (Sorry if my english bad). Hope you answer.
No, I only have arrow pointing from X to Y which M mediates (indirect effect), dont have arrow directly from X to Y (direct effect). It's mean dont have direct effect not direct effect is insignificant. Can I conclude it full mediation. Hope you answer me again. Thank you
Sir, thank you for this video, its really very informative. Would you please share moderated mediation and what exactly and how to report when writing data analysis for thesis
@@researchwithfawad thanks very much I have watched this before. But this has one predictors I am talking about several predictors as exogenous variables pointing to only one mediator and one dependent variable. Thanks very much for your time
What if the results show the direct and indirect effects are insignificant, yet the total effect is significant. In this case, how should I conclude the results?
@@researchwithfawad If the hypothesis proposed a significant positive relationship, however, the results revealed a significant negative relationship. Does this mean the hypothesis is rejected?
Thanks for the suggestion. I hope i can soon make one. The Process is the same as in the video: ruclips.net/video/YDZ41DcwZjs/видео.html Report the Specific Indirect Effects, then the Direct effects plus the total effect.
@@researchwithfawad sir, i am having full mediation using Hayes approach. Can you please suggest a paper how to report that. Also, if there are two mediators and also a serial mediation which one is causing full mediation? How to report that when all three relations have significant indirect effect? Also, from what i have understood, as opposed to Baron and kenny, Hayes approach doesn't need a significant relationship between IV and DV before introducing mediator. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Jazakalaahu khair.
Ameen. I am glad you liked it.
Very clear explanation. thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the comprehensive explanation. Very useful.
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
I was waiting for this video and finally got it, thank you sir
Thanks. I hope you fond it helpful.

Yes, it is complimentary.
Thank you!
Thank you sir, this series has helped me understand SmartPLS 4 a lot
You are most welcome
Could you please provide the reference for the mediation evaluation flowchart? Thank you so much for your attention.
Please refer to Hair et al Primer on PLS-SEM
Many thanks.

Yes, if direct effect is insignificant but indirect significant, this is full mediation.

Check the direct relationship to assess full or partial mediation.

Salam Alaikum How do analyze or draw a hypothesized model with Multiple predictors involving only one mediation and one endogenous variable? Thanks
Please watch the video. You can drag as many constructs as you like, link them based on your model.
@@researchwithfawad thanks very much I have watched this before. But this has one predictors I am talking about several predictors as exogenous variables pointing to only one mediator and one dependent variable. Thanks very much for your time
Yes, the way one drags one predictor, you can drag others and link them the same way we link one.
If all specific indirect effects of p value are insignificant>0.05 what is that
Then, there are no indirect effects.
very helpful video! Can you give a source for this?
Source?
What if the results show the direct and indirect effects are insignificant, yet the total effect is significant. In this case, how should I conclude the results?
Normally hypotheses are based on the significance of direct and indirect effects, so if they are not significant, the hypotheses are rejected.
@@researchwithfawad If the hypothesis proposed a significant positive relationship, however, the results revealed a significant negative relationship. Does this mean the hypothesis is rejected?
Yes
Assalamualaikum, my mediating variable R square is greater than dependent variable R square, is it ok?
Yes. It can happen.
@@researchwithfawad Thanks
Can you please make a video on how to report serial mediation
Thanks for the suggestion. I hope i can soon make one.
The Process is the same as in the video: ruclips.net/video/YDZ41DcwZjs/видео.html
Report the Specific Indirect Effects, then the Direct effects plus the total effect.

Since both are mediators, both are part of the mediation process.
Yes, you are right, Hayes doesn't require the IV and DV to be related for mediation.
Sir if we have 1 mediator but more than 1 IV then how to calculate mediation analysis
@@researchwithfawad is the sequential mediation can be full or partial? or we just see the significance and say that Sequential Mediation exists there
