Ok...so late watching this and im only a few minutes in...but I was so surprised to hear that Dan Lian was one of the speakers at this conference! Not that he is a bad person..I love him! But he is one of the three pastors at NewSpring Church and my family and I were attending church there up until COVID. When everything opened back up we had stopped going to church all together 😢 We are (my kids and I..I'm praying my husband will start coming with us 🙏) now attending a small Baptist church down the road from our house and we feel more "at home" there if that makes any sense. But Dan Lian is awesome and has so much wisdom!
I truly enjoy and grab a lot of information about marriage. We are a newly married couple. It has been good thank the Lord but we do struggle with communicating our emotions we both come from a difficult past and I have just started to learn how to communicate my emotions. Our problem is that we make each other thing that we're not good enough for each other or that we're doing something wrong. And it has made us hold back on what we are feeling or subjects we want to talk about.

I feel like society is constantly telling is how hard marriage is and in my experience is could not be further from the truth! Yes it takes work and compromising but that shouldn't be hard when you are truly in love and fully devoted to your spouse. Building a family together has only made our marriage easier. The older and wiser we get the more we love and enjoy being married. The world will try to convince us children are burdens and marriage is hard but once you find God in those places it is nothing short of beautiful ❤️
XO would be incredible to go to sometime. Just hard to see it being feasible with 4 young kids at the moment 😂 thank you for this episode. I found it very helpful and convicting!
God recently taught me about the true and biblical definition of mariage and that changed my mind: only leaving mother and father and becoming one (but not only trough flesh). Mariage is not about a luxurious party. Is about serving the Lord together. 😍
Everyone pray about the movie “Get out in Jesus name!” And go see it if prompted by the Holy Spirit!! It’s going to be life changing! Christians need deliverance and we need to start doing it for the lost and the people we love! But we have to repent for ourselves and be set free from the bondage in Jesus name!
Loved this episode, very much needed to hear this.Milena, I love you.. but I’ve noticed every time Jordan speaks, you say “mhmm” after every few words. I get it’s you agreeing or simply acknowledging that you know where he’s going with his sentence. I’m sure he doesn’t care, but it’s kind of like a faucet that wasn’t turned off completely and there’s a small drip. And you can hear everything but you can’t ignore the faucet. No hate really just saying it.
I think its awesome to think of the “plus sign” in the 1+1 as a cross symbolizing God in the middle.
